With one epic teen romance, actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner have landed among Hollywoods elite.
The trio will have their hand and footprints immortalized in the cement outside Graumans Chinese Theatre on Nov. 3, just weeks prior to the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. Since its 1928 inception, only a select 250-plus recipients have been invited to partake in the celebrated ceremony, making it one of the most prestigious honors in Hollywood.
Attracting as many visitors as the Taj Mahal and the Prado Museum, Graumans Chinese Theatre draws four million people each year, ranking among the worlds most photographed tourist sites. Fans across the globe can watch via livestream as Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner make their mark on the Hollywood Blvd forecourt during the Nov. 3 ceremony at 10 am PT.
With two films yet to debut in the five part series, The Twilight Saga has grossed a combined $1.8 billion at the worldwide box office. Part 1 of the highly anticipated finale is set to debut on Nov. 21.

Putting your foot and handprints in the cement outside of Grauman's Chinese Theatre is considered to be one the most prestigious honors for anyone, who works in the entertainment industry. In a way, this honor can immortalize any entertainer, because you will join an elite group.
Like it or not, the Twilight franchise is a big deal. This film series does have a nice sized fan following, and these films have been a financial success. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Twilight franchise. I watched the first film, and I couldn't finish New Moon. I tried. I really, really tried, but I couldn't sit through the entire film. The Twilight film series doesn't interest me at all, but I can't deny the popularity of this franchise.
Of course, the announcement of this ceremony has caused some viscous backlash throughout the internet. Some people are extremely pissed off, and I've actually seen some people suggest a protest (yeah, I'm not kidding). This announcement has angered a lot of people, because they don't think the Twilight stars deserve this honor.
At first, this announcement did take me by surprise. I didn't expect it, but this announcement doesn't piss off. As I said before, the Twilight franchise is a big deal. It has become one of the more popular film franchises over the years, and Stewart, Lautner, and Pattinson are the faces of each film. They are the stars, and they will receive recognition. Some think this is a prime example of pop culture ruining Hollywood. Lautner and Pattinson might not be the best actors, and Kristen Stewart is no Meryl Streep. Everyone thinks these three will fade away into obscurity, when the Twilight series comes to an end, and there's always a chance this could happen. But there's a strong chance the Twilight series will stand the test of time, and this could become a memorable franchise.
Also, I can't stand the real hardcore Twilight haters. The majority of Twilight haters have this venomous hatred for Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, because they represent the Abercrombie & Fitch look. They also hate Twilight, because the books and films attract large crowds of teenage girls. Most of these people don't have a life, or they hate their own life, and they probably have some serious emotional issues. Take the stick out of your ass, and let the kids have some fun.
What do you think? Do Lautner, Pattinson, and Stewart deserve this honor?
