I've always had this idea for a screwjob in a Ladder match where instead of pulling down the championship belt, the champion & challenger agree to hang up a briefcase containing the title inside, and they have to climb up the Ladder and open up the briefcase then take the title out of the case in order to win, so it makes it a little more harder on the both of them to retrieve the belt, and in the match the babyface champion gets to the top of the Ladder and he opens up the briefcase but there's no belt inside, then the heel challenger knocks the babyface champion off of the Ladder with his finisher and climbs back up the Ladder, and while he does that a second briefcase comes down and the other briefcase is pulled up by a mystery person/persons, the heel challenger then opens up the second briefcase, the title is inside and he takes it out, winning the match & the championship. This idea is a little similar to the finish in the Austin-McMahon Ladder match at King Of The Ring 99, and I honestly would love to see this idea in the Ladder match between Aries & Hardy and then on Impact, it's revealed that Aries is a member of A&8's and that it was A&8's who made the briefcase switch to help Austin win the title back.
Doubt it will happen though, I really don't see Hardy losing here cause he just won the belt, why give it to him in the first place if he's just gonna lose it back as quick as he won it? And the poster above brought up a good point about the #1 contenders match and Hardy getting another title rematch with Aries at Final Resolution if he lost. I think it's obvious James Storm is gonna win the #1 contenders match, so Hardy should probably win anyway, Storm vs. Hardy is a big draw for TNA, it's certainly worthy of main eventing a BFG, and what a hell of a way it would be to end the year for TNA.
