I fully expect some kind of twist and turn at Turning Point. I expect TNA to throw us a swerve because the card may look to predictable. With all the title changes in recent weeks, no one expects most of the current champions to loose the belt at Turning Point. I'm not saying the swerve will happen here, but it could.

As of now, I am voting for Hardy to retain. But, the idea of TNA creative gives me a little lean towards Aries. A bit confusing.

I actually hope Jeff Hardy fucks up again.

I hate the fact that he is their Champion when Aries was doing a fantastic job adding credibility to that title before feuding with Hardy made him now a Defacto Heel. TNA is having the same problem the 'E' has, only the WWE has a fanbase that is sometimes subjected to a breakout guy.

TNA shoots all their breakout guys in the legs. RVD holding the X division title... why did they sign kenny king then? Why did Aries endorse these guys only to have them disappear so that Wes Brisco, Garret bischoff and Dvon get face time... Its mind boggling. For all the advances this company has made they are still relying on guys who shit on the business within their own company. Why should someone like Aries fear Hogan or Sting for that matter, these guys are past their prime.

I want Aries to win, but because merch and ratings take precedence over logic. Hardy will keep his ugly belt and millions of chances.

I am going to agree with Bus Wanker again in that the first two matches on this card seem very predictable, and I am hoping they shake things up a bit for the ppv. At first I was glad to see Hardy got a second chance, and was able to prove himself. I know it is early yet, but I haven't really enjoyed seeing him as champ again so far. I want Aries to regain the title, but I think Hardy retains here. I hope they give us something besides all the champs retaining.

It's no secret that anyone who knows me knows my colossal hatred of Jeffrey Hardy. I can't stand him, I can't stand his character, his personality, or that ridiculous face paint of his. I can't stand the fact that he spit in the face of the company at Victory Road in that "infamous" main event match with Sting for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship of the World. But nevertheless, he is their champion, he [somehow] puts asses in seats, sells the merch, and TNA wants to keep him happy to re-sign him in February(rumour has it he is interested in going back to WWE again) so they will have him retain here. Of course, not that it'd make any sense to win the BFG Series, win the title at BFG, then drop the title a month later to the guy he beat for the belt. So yes. Expect Jeffrey Hardy to retain.

Oh yes, one last thing just to remind everyone of just how much Jeff can't be trusted...

The most money to be made is with the championship on Hardy. It's the smartest thing to do since he's the biggest draw they have. Aries did a really good job when he had the championship but this match is going to Jeff Hardy.

This is CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy all over again.

TNA are trying to build up Austin Aries as a bonafide main eventer and facing Jeff Hardy in a program will do that.

As to who will win. Well ladder matches are Hardy's specialty, however I see Aries doing some sort of underhanded move to win. So this could go either way so I'm torn. However whoever wins I'm sure it will be a great match.

That means that BFG=Night of Champions where Hardy won the title, Turning Point=Summerslam where Aries regains the title the next month in a ladder match and Final Resolution= the Smackdown after Summerslam where Aries retains the title against Hardy in a loser leaves town steel cage match which forces him out of the company

...but that's not going to happen unfortunately because the upcoming number 1 contender's match gives away that Hardy is going to defeat Aries at Turning Point and end the feud since the winner will get a shot at the title at Final Resolution. If Aries was going to win at TP the feud wouldn't end there because Hardy would be getting a rematch.

I've always had this idea for a screwjob in a Ladder match where instead of pulling down the championship belt, the champion & challenger agree to hang up a briefcase containing the title inside, and they have to climb up the Ladder and open up the briefcase then take the title out of the case in order to win, so it makes it a little more harder on the both of them to retrieve the belt, and in the match the babyface champion gets to the top of the Ladder and he opens up the briefcase but there's no belt inside, then the heel challenger knocks the babyface champion off of the Ladder with his finisher and climbs back up the Ladder, and while he does that a second briefcase comes down and the other briefcase is pulled up by a mystery person/persons, the heel challenger then opens up the second briefcase, the title is inside and he takes it out, winning the match & the championship. This idea is a little similar to the finish in the Austin-McMahon Ladder match at King Of The Ring 99, and I honestly would love to see this idea in the Ladder match between Aries & Hardy and then on Impact, it's revealed that Aries is a member of A&8's and that it was A&8's who made the briefcase switch to help Austin win the title back.

Doubt it will happen though, I really don't see Hardy losing here cause he just won the belt, why give it to him in the first place if he's just gonna lose it back as quick as he won it? And the poster above brought up a good point about the #1 contenders match and Hardy getting another title rematch with Aries at Final Resolution if he lost. I think it's obvious James Storm is gonna win the #1 contenders match, so Hardy should probably win anyway, Storm vs. Hardy is a big draw for TNA, it's certainly worthy of main eventing a BFG, and what a hell of a way it would be to end the year for TNA.

First off I don't get why Aries was so afraid of being in this match. Aries is a frickin high flyer and this match should be awesome one, Though TNA kinda sucks at Ladder Matches.

Part of me says Aries wins to add some shock factor to the card but Hardy JUST won after all that build up with the redemption crap. Gotta go with Hardy to take this one. Just hope he doesn't end up facing Roode we had enough of that earlier this year.

Also Hardy better keep that awful looking painted ladder at home this time, I remember he used it during his ladder match with Anderson last year and my god that thing looking worse then his custom title does.

with Hardy having 2 belts and it looks like both of them will be hanging, I can't help but to think something odd will happen. maybe they will both be on ladders by the belts with Hardy grabbing 1 belt and Aries grabbing the other, both at the same time. then they would tie and have to have another match.

I can't see Aries winning the title. that would make the #1 contenders match less meaningful. then it wouldn't matter who the #1 contender is, they aren't going to beat Aries and have the title change yet again for another time in such a short time period. Hardy just won the belt at the last PPV. if Aries wins it at this PPV, then I can't see it changing again at/before the next PPV in December.

personally I would rather see Hardy win, and go onto feud with which ever one of Storm/Roode win the Storm/Roode.Styles match. then Aries can fall back into the mid card/main card and feud with guys like Styles/Joe/Angle/Anderson/ect.

This feud is actually a lot like Cena/Punk.

The hard working wrestler verus the SUPERSTAR who for some reason gets things his way.

The wrestler versus the superstar... it think it's becomming more of an art now in this business with WWE actually having some wrestlers admist their superstars now.

This feud also proves that the Impact Zone FUCKING SUCKS. The crowd was backing Hardy from the Impact Zone going into BFG... then we get to BFG and Hardy's basically treated like John Cena. Austin Aries is being cheered more.. because their not at some side show attration Universal Studios.. no they were selling a wrestling PPV to wrestling fans in Phoenix, with Austin Aries, the best wrestling, headlining.

But Hogan probably felt all the Jeff Hardy love from the 12 fans in the Impact Zone so still went with Hardy at BFG. Hopefully BFG showed them they were wrong and they give Aries the belt back with a little special rub.

Aries must win. If Hardy does win, he must not hold the title longer than 3 months, completely undeserving of a long title reign with guys like Aries, Roode, Storm, Styles.

This will obviously close the show. It is also my pick for the most likely candidate to be the best match of the night. Aries' matches are always great. Hardy never fails to entertain in a Ladder match. We are in for a great match here and I expect nothing less than a high quality match out of the two contenders in this match. As much as I disagreed with Aries losing the World Championship, I'm against him regaining it here. Hardy just barely recently won it, why render the title change completely pointless by giving it back to Aries so soon? TNA made Jeff Hardy their World Champion and gave him a second hideous belt (the Immortal one was bad enough!). They need to keep him in that role for a while for the belt's sake as well as his own and that of the federation itself. The match goes on last with Hardy retaining and then he moves on to his next challenger, most likely Roode. Aries moves on to some upper card filler feud.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
Jeff Hardy will retain the TNA World Championship.

I don't look for any major shake up to take place during this match. I'm sure it'll be another damn good outing from these two, but I fully expect Jeff Hardy to retain the title.

As of right now, there's more money to be made for TNA with Hardy carrying the title. According to reports, Hardy is by far and away the top merchandise seller on the roster and the same reports have said that his contract is due to end sometime early next year. TNA wants to keep Hardy on the roster and that's why they've gotten serious about pushing him again as a top guy. A major push with a real title run is obviously meant as something of a perk to Hardy signing a new deal with the company.

Unless Hardy has flat out already told the TNA brass that he won't be signing a new deal with them when his current deal expires, I see him holding onto the title for at least the rest of this year, possibly well into next year. From a personal standpoint, I'd rather see Aries as champ and get a real run with the title. Personally, I think he's by far and away more entertaining than Jeff Hardy both inside the ring and as a character. But TNA's got to follow the money and, as a realistic person, I can't blame them for that. Again, it's about doing what you hope is financially best for the company and not catering to internet fantasy booking.
