Triple H's Wrestlemania moment

Big Fella

That Dude
For as long as Triple H has been a legitimate Main Eventer (in between Wrestlemania 15/16 IMO) I don't think he has ever had that "one moment" at a Wrestlemania.

At WM16(2000) Triple H entered the 4 way with the Championship, and left with it. I personally remember it as Foley's comeback, and the entire McMahon families involvement. I didn't even remember he held on to the title, I had to look it up.

WM 17-I remember the TLC match and Austin's heel turn to defeat the Rock for the World Title. Trips did the JOB to Undertaker.

WM 18-Triple H (playing the hero with a bad leg) defeated Chris Jericho to become the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. I'm sure many consider this to be "his moment" but I think it was cheapened severely by Jericho's lack of push from that time until the time he left the company.

WM 19-Triple H beat Booker T to hold onto his championship. But, Rock finally beat Austin at Wrestlemania, Hogan defeated McMahon, and Lesnar defeated Angle for the belt in the Main Event. Hardly Trips moment.

WM 20-The Guererro/Benoit 'Mania. Trips tapped to Benoit.

WM 21- The Cena/Batista 'Mania. Trips jobs to Batista.

WM 22-The Mysterio Mania, Trips jobs to Cena.

Its funny to me to think about Triple H's legacy. Despite being a 10X champion I still don't think he has had that Wrestlemania moment that people will remember for years to come.

I'd say that Wrestlemania X8 was the closest to "Triple H's Moment" that he's been to so far. Unless they have him win another Royal Rumble and win again, I think that'll be forever known as his moment.

Yeah your 100% correct HHH is yet to have a great moment at Mania, despite being WWE's franchise player for a while. A few thing you didnt mention, even though he wasnt a star at the time, At mania 12 he was squashed by the worst worker ever-Ultimate Warrior. Mania 19 is remembered for Hogan/Rock, and completely overshadowed the main event. his few successfull wins at mania include a victory over Goldust, Defeated Owen for European title.

Triple H doesn't need a Wrestlemania moment, because he gets the rest of the year to typically do his thing. Hell, 2006 was the first year in recent memory that he wasn't conjoined to the damn title. I commend him for only one of his last three Wrestlemania jobs. Benoit. He was the only recipient that was worth the payoff in the ring and was an actual credit to the belt and that match was the only one out of the three that I loved (the others weren't worth pissing on). The other two were for worthless duds that only make me long for the days that HHH was hotdogging the belt (very sad for me to have to say that, as it's nauseating to say the least). HHH would've had a decent moment against Jericho at WM18, but the booking was beyond stupid as they went up against Hogan and Rock. Two guys who by themselves are each worth more than the collective starpower of HHH/Jericho combined and they scooped all the electricity out of the match with Hogan's textbook layout (which was a condensed ripoff of his WM6 match with Warrior).

2007 purley because he wont be on the show.

Other than that I enjoyed his match at Wrestle Manai XX but that was more down to Benoit & HBK. HHH was still a blubbery mess back then.

I enjoyed him getting squashed by the Warrior as well.

His match with Taker is overrated IMO. And I dont want to talk about his treatment of Booker at W.M. 19

triple h really hasnt had a wrestlemania moment.he has had good matches in my opinion though.wrestlemania 17 was a good match.i love the triple threat between michaels, benoit, and him also.i really enjoy his match with cena as well.yes i did enjoy it!i dont get how people think that match is bad

WrestleMania 16(2000) at that time he was the heel that always found a way to get the job done one way or another and he entered the main event in a fatal 4 way with The Big Show, Mankind, the Rock. Plus he was a heel champ entereing and no heel ever left mania as the champ. I think many thought the Rock was going to win it but HHH defended his title against 3 of the biggest names at taht time. Definitely his mania moment just edging out Wrestlemania 18.

***Plus Stephanie was a banging hot thorough bread dime piece back then.

Wow I never realized how much he's been screwed over at Wrestlemania.

But to be honest with you it might be done on purpose, I don't think he needs it. Although the WM17 Four Way match was probably the biggest as it was the first time a heel ever won the main event at wrestlemania I believe.

I wonder if they'll ever give him one big moment...

*on a side note this is my 100th post :D*
