But when HBK first came back after his surgery he was still "friends" with DX...Remember he helped HHH win the Heavyweight title on I think the first ever smackdown when he superkicked the rock..

the last dx was in the macman-helmsly era, which i think lasted intil HHH got injuried?

Nah DX ended way before HHH injured his quad. HHH was in The Two Man Power Trip with Steve Austin and Vince McMahon at the time of his injury which was May 2001 one night after WWF Judgment Day. That last DX ended in mid to late 2000 I'm sure because remember earlier in 2001 before his injury HHH was a face when he faced Kurt Angle at the Royal Rumble when they had that storyline when Kurt was trying to woo Stephanie.

Yeah he got caught with Trish but not because he put the moves on her it was HHH trying to honestly teach Trish some wrestling holds, since she had a match that night and Steph just walked in during a moment when HHH had Trish in a hammerlock and Trish bent over to grab HHH's leg and it looked awkward and Steph got mad. It was just a comedy angle....and eventually it all ended when Steph kicked Kurt in the nizzies, so at the end HHH and Steph were temporily faces...yeah

Now we can say that HHH is officially a fully blown super FACE even tho ppl say he likes bein heel on monday night it seemed like he was really enjoying what he was doing a little more that mr.micheals i must say
I think HHH can do an adequate job as a face. Its sort of as the "anti-hero" style of face though rebellious etc. He gets over doing that, and with the various gags and jokes. I think he's better as a heel. But if they have Edge and Orton to push the heel side of things for the next few monthes, a HHH face turn probably makes some sense for raw.

I rekon HhH was ment to be heel but he gets massive pops when he wrestles so with this new dx thing they are making him face.

Honestly... it doesn't matter! He plays both pretty well.
he's a heel. people love to hate him. that won't change with dx. if he does become a face for a while, it won't last long. he'll do something nasty soon after. besides, most of his fans are hardcore (including myself). he'll give a show whether he's a heel or a face..
HHH has that reputation as a heel, particularly from his time as a LOOOONG reigning champion, but you may have noticed that he has been listening to the criticism from the fans and started to fight non-title non-mainevent matches to gain some respect. Also losing to the likes of Batista 3 times, which gave the impression he gives others a chance cemented the belief that he was now a fan's wrestler. This may be the reason why he started to get cheered. Plus having him face the biggest face-heel in Cena, just made him the "fan's" fav.
Heel or face, he still entertains, but as a face there is that sense of comedy and license to make a joke against somebody and smile about it, as opposed of the joke being played at him.
