Triple H: Back as a heel or face?

I'm going to go out on a really far limb here and actually state that I don't want him back, and to be totally honest, I don't think the WWE needs him back. Not because I don't like him or think he's a good wrestler, but I think at this point he probably doesn't have much time left in the ring anyway and I am afraid that the main driving force behind the rest of his career will be to make him break Flair's record for number of title holdings. It always felt like that is the eventual direction that things were going and now that flair is with a rival company, vince and the WWE will have an even stronger motivation towards breaking that record. So I'm afraid that instead of strong storylines and memorable feuds that we'll be more likely to see a series of title wins and defenses and changes and chases just to allow HHH to hold the record before retiring for good.

Even if I'm wrong about that prediction, still, to be totally honest, I'm tired of seeing HHH title reigns and title chases as they all seem to be pretty forgettable and have a "been there, done that" feel, regardless of whether he is a heel or a face or who he's feuding with. However with that point, I want to emphasize that I'm not saying that he shouldn't return because of that, but it's just a reason why I'm not really looking forward to his return.

In the end, HHH will certainly have a role in the WWE so it's not like he needs to come back. I can understand his wanting to and I certainly won't think it's a bad thing if he does return, but I am perfectly happy not having him around right now.
