TNA's three most logical choices...

SuperKnockout

TNA knockout champion
Well, It came to me that with everybody complaining about the writing, or stealing gimmick's that TNA is pathetic. well, I thought of this. IF (Im using an IF so nobody can say I was spamming) TNA could use three stars from wwe who would be good choices and help TNA with rateings? NOW for those of you people who say TNA needs to make stars and not buy them, this is for you.

What would be the three most uniqe and helpful storylines then could use? Like a feud, power hungry manager, or anything. NOW please do not have stars go to TNA and then make a story, (the make em not buy em people I talked about would get ticked)

Have fun, be creative, and go back way back then! Bring back Cornette if thats what you want. This thread is to post your ideas of what TNA could use to improve.

Simply put, an invasion/takeover storyline with Ken Anderson, Desmond Wolfe, Matt Morgan, Daniels, Shelton Benjamin, Brian Kendrick, Homicide and ODB with Jim Cornette as the manager/mouth piece for the ones that need it. The stable takes over the company to run out the old guard (citing their own experiences with management in both companies holding them down to protect the older, established or home-grown talent) and anybody that opposes them, which will include Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam, Hernandez and others.

It starts off with worked-shoot interviews by Anderson, Wolfe and and a not-supposed-to-be-returning Daniels. They collectively band together eventually promising a takeover of wrestling, claiming they all tried to play by the rules but the unwritten rules of the business held them back from their full potential. The stable slowly grows into the list above over the course of several upon several months before having a reign of terror on the company lasting about a year. Eventually, Samoa Joe (or a newer star such as Hernandez) would go on a winning streak to a major PPV and beat the leader of the group for the world title.

Best and worst way to describe is the new blood storyline mixed with the original nWo. Eventually after being defeated the real demise of the group comes when they question each other's motives, loyalties and decisions. The stable breaks apart from there and key players feud with each other while the world title scene shifts elsewhere.

1. I would say if he was still alive The Road Warriors. Hawk, Animal and you could use them against 3-D. To see which team would be the greatest tag team in the world.
2. Randy Orton- use him against Sting, both could play mind games on each other and come back as the Legend Killer, hell look at all the Legends in TNA Orton could go through all of them.
3. The Hardys- Matt could come in and help jeff getting the shit knocked out of him by Beer Money and have Matt go through the crowd and make the save.

1. John Cena, This guy regardless of your opinions of him is a huge draw for the WWE, so if he went to TNA (most likely won't happen) some of his loyal fan base would follow. Have him fued with A.J. Styles over being company face
2. Undertaker, same as Cena for fans, He could have a semi good fued with Abyss/ reunit Brothers of Destruction and put them against Beer Money
3. Mickey James, she is a talented wrestler that could really add to the Knockouts division, and her fan base will follow her to thursday nights. Velvet Sky would be her fued for a ppv or 2 possible team up with another knockout or 2 against BP

A Wrestler like Edge could thrive in the iMPACT zone but could not bring as much of a pop as the other imo

TNA basically needs to make up their mind. One week they want Styles to be the future. The next it's Desmond. Then it's Hardy. Then it's Anderson. Then it's Lethal. TNA needs to figure out who they want to be main eventing, who they want to mid card, who they want to be jabronis (Lethal). They don't need to completely get rid of legends like Hogan, Flair, Sting, Nash, Hall, etc. because they do bring some degree of name recognition. But they also need to build up their own talent and not force people down their throats. And while not forcing people down throats, they also need to not let the fans do the booking. Because while some guy might seem new or flashy to the fans, you also have to realize that the iMPACT Zone is filled with morons. Half of the people know nothing about wrestling, and the others are smarks who don't know what is best for the company.

Well, well, another who could TNA used thread. It's all good though. It's fun to dream. Well anyways, the term logical has been thrown around. Yet no logic explained. Well here goes nothing.

Number One. This guy that I pick is a huge deal. This guy will make TNA noticed. He will cost him, but he will not leave TNA in shambles. This guy is none other then the Rock. Huge draw, could sell today if he wanted to do. We all know if he showed up to Raw next week and told everyone he will be at Fatal 4 way to take on Michael Cole, that we would pay money to see that. That's the guy TNA needs.

Number 2. Well I have no number 2 or 3. They already have too much WWE talent there. So I would rather just have the Rock show up, and save the company.

How will it work. The same way they did it with Hogan going to WCW. Have Styles come out and say... Rock, you are one of the best, but I have the Title see you at this PPV. Then it will all come into place.

Too bad TNA doesn't have the money, and the Rock isn't a bad actor. Oh hell, I hope that day never happens, I would rather see the Rock in a WWE for another Wrestlemania. I don't want to see a successful Rock experiment in TNA, because TNA would just mess it up. Hogan would want a Rematch, and kill the whole thing. Well that's about it.

You could add anyone to tna, and in its current form i dont think it would matter.
Aside from a dream combo of rock, stone cold, cena and undertaker coming in and invading. i just think tna wouldnt improve any, and needs to sort itself out. from ppvs, promotion and quality of the shows. the talents there, if you cant promote and write decent storylines, with well worked feuds out of the roster it has at the moment. then its never going to happen.

id have tna getting their shows out of the impact zone for ppvs. not only will this change up the atmosphere, which is an annoyance because of the familiarity of attendees. and the feel of just another impact show which i get from the ppvs. tna get rave reviews whenever i hear about the house shows, so why not get your product more known. surely that is promotion 101 for a wrestling company?

Lets have another tv show aswell. Would help give time to make storylines develop, and improve build towards ppv. whichever way you look at it tna's ppv numbers need to improve big time. And any more tv time can only be a good thing for tna.

Undertaker - endless options for feuds/matches. He could have quality matches with many of the roster and much of it hasnt been seen before with WWE, but he could bring WWE fans with him.

Jericho - The go to guy if WWE need something/someone to have credibility/get over. He is truly the best in the world today. Cut out the nonsense TNA do, Y2J v well anyone TNA chooses, give him a few weeks of promos with the guy and a couple of great matches and TNA would have a new star.

Vince McMahon - the business brain, the creative force, the anal retentive guy who keeps his creative team on their toes 24/7. No more sugar daddy spending, no more ridiculous booking, get Vince in his wrestlemania mode and TNA programming would improve beyond recognition. Maybe constant rewrites of Impact would have a positive impact too! When he wants to create a star, he will have them in the main event and they won't be shit. Look at JBL, Sheamus etc

Holy moly.

The Rock, Undertaker, Cena, Dead Road Warrior Hawk, Jericho, Randy Orton, Vince McMahon any my personal favorite so far...

Simply put? That's 15 wrestlers + others. That is not simple. Those are the things that you guys think are "logical"? That's what makes sense to do for TNA right now at this moment?

I disagree. I do not think any of those would work at all.

MWats & satchmokilnt have good ideas. iMpact needs to move out of the basement and move around their main shows. Maybe around the southeast at first to gauge the popularity and the size of arena they can sell out. Then move out farther and farther until they can get all over the US.

Stop the fans from running the show. McMahon said something very interesting last RAW. "Treat them like children". Because that is what the crowd is. You cannot give them what they want when they want it. This fan's choice to every week have some guy undeservidly fight the champ (and lose) is such an asshole idea and a waste of air time. They only thing good to come out of it was Kurt Angle pulling out of it and running the ladder to the top. Even with that, it's a shit idea to let fans make a weekly match.

TNA needs to get better writers. Writers who can create coherent storylines that are featured every week. I don't want to wait 3 weeks to see what is up with this story or that story. I lose interest. If it's not important to show me what is happening and explain it, then why should I invest my interest in it?

TNA needs to rebalance the rosters. They have too many guys to run effective stories. This coinsides with cohesive storys. The right amount of talent can be featured.

TNA needs to fix their Knockouts Division. This was a jaw dropping division with some foxy women with real skills taking it to eachother. This was not a bathroom break match, this was something you had to see. Women who wrestled just like the men. Wrestling on a wrestling show. It worked.

TNA needs to correct the X-Division. I don't know how. Maybe bring the 6 sides back and get rid of that stupid ass ramp and move the crowd back a few feet so people can fall out of the ring without hitting the railings.

TNA needs to present talent correctly. Samoa Joe disappears for a month and then comes back with a bad attitude? Great. But why? What happened? Hardy comes out and climbs on top of the cage and sits there on his debut. His debut. A trememdously popular character gets a 2 minute intro at the end of a show where he sits there. That is the best they could have come up with for Jeff Hardy? That? It was like "Hi, I'm Shannon Moore. Hi, I'm RVD. We're all going to fight for titles now. Sorry other wrestlers, we're not going to take the time to integrate ourselves into the company were going to challenge the champ and then challenge eachtoher. What's up Abyss? We're going to turn you into a pile of trash"

If TNA can get better writing, a smaller roster....shit....if TNA can go back to what they were doing before Hogan/Bischoff & Friends INC. came along, they would be good and different to watch again.

Those seem like logical choices. Not 3 logical choices, like the post said, but 5 logical choices because fixing 3 things isn't going to do squat. There are more than 3 things needed to be fixed.

i dunno, i think a program between jay lethal and aj centered around lethal continuing to mimick ric flair could go a long way. especially if in the end, ric winds up siding with lethal in a "suprise" turn on aj.

i'd also like to see more of desmond wolfe vs. pope. any pretense would be acceptable. fighting over desmond's valet, wolfe taking exception to dinero being called "pope" (c of e, and all) or they could even tag for a while and then feud over one doing all the work and the other getting the pins. don't care. just get them in the ring together more.

use hall and nash as the "we keep getting our belts back through technicallities or back room deals" tag champs. they could do everything. they think they are going to lose to 3d? they stage an attack that makes it look like they were jumped by 3d in the parking tower, and insist that 3d be suspended before the match. they lose the belts to lax? they prove tha hernandez's green card expired the day before the match, and he could not legally wrestle (i know hernandez doesn't need a green card. that can be part of it. they could produce forged, but convincing papers). think early jericho in wcw, defending his cruiserweight belt. the important thing is to keep hall and nash active in the tag team storyline without being quite so active in the ring.

these are by no means relolutionary ideas. but they could get a ball or two rolling

so speaketh the prophet!

Simply put, meaning I simplified my idea. It's not a simple idea by any means. No good idea is simple. If i went into every detail about my idea to take the company to the next level, I would probably be here for hours on end.

Now, all the business ideas for TNA to change is all hear-say. I am sure TNA wants to make all those advancements sooner rather than later, but that all takes time. The only thing they can control is their story lines. Thus, my idea for the storyline that will set them on fire...

The biggest complaint about TNA is they hold down the young/current stars and push the old guys. So thus, create a heel/tweener group that's sole intention is to push the old guys aside and make themselves the center of attention. Now, you may think "Well... but fans will cheer them though" or "that puts over the old guys more like the millionaires club storyline" but my idea is a slight tweak on that story.

The new Blood/Millionaires club thing was the closest thing for WCW being able to strike gold twice after the nWo storyline ended. The problem was they started the storyline with the new blood being filled with 40 or so guys. That is too big for a stable first off and secondly, the babyfaces in the storyline were mostly guys that were too old and then DDP and Goldberg, the only two 'younger' guys at the top.

This new 'group' will form in TNA of guys who haven't hit main event status in ANY company. Anderson, Daniels, Wolfe, Morgan, Shelton and guys like that. The more fresher faces, the better. It will slowly grow from 3 members to 4, to 5 and eventually to nothing above 10 or 12 (including a manager and a woman).

They go on a 'legend' raid at first, going after Hall, Nash, Sting, Hogan, Flair, Team 3D, Rhino, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley and anybody else that are established stars. They mostly take them out fairly easily. Next they go after the champion, whether it be AJ, RVD, Jeff Hardy, Abyss or whoever it be, as long as it's a face and not a heel. They take the title fairly easily (Anderson or Morgan will probably be preferred as the one that gets the leadership role) on PPV and go on a reign of terror in the company, taking over all the belts, disrupting the show and taking the show hostage when they feel like it.

The storyline could last about 2 or 3 years, as long as it continues to shift and adapt every month or so. You may say that's too long (no, you WILL say it), but it can be done. I would explain how things could change and play out throughout that time, but I really don't want to type this idea for hours on end. You may say it's an nWo-copycat, it is and it isn't. The nWo was a bunch of established talents looking to takeover another wrestling company, this group idea is about a bunch of guys who are doing-so because they feel they don't get the opportunities they deserve so they opt to take them instead and run off the people who have had those same opportunities.

The group dominates for many many months, to the point where fans are sick of seeing them win. Put them over everybody via nefarious means. Think Triple H/2003 or nWo/1997 domination. Yes, the faces have victories every month or so, but the heels come back and win the battle nearly every time. While the nWo story started in 1996, it took 6 months of that year plus all of 1997 to truly take WCW to it's apex. 1998 was WCW's best year because of it. 1997 however, creatively, was a so-so year for the company. The storyline was so hot and so perfectly executed that it didn't matter if it was going painfully slow. New fans were watching every week and the company grew and grew. Thus, instead of blowing their load early they kept the build going till 1997 and then continued the story in 1998. They ended up never ending it but that wasn't the fault of the way it was executed in 1996 and 1997. Point being, the painfully slow build worked and it CAN work again.

Eventually, the younger stars such as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Hernandez and others band together and take down this big group and win back the titles and control over the company. The group then slowly starts fighting in itself while they are in the middle of trying to take back the power they lost. The group breaks apart and the big fish of the group feud with each other while the newer stars that killed them go on to other things. Not only does TNA create guys like Matt Morgan, Desmond Wolfe, Anderson, Daniels but they cement guys like Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Hernandez and others as the backbone of the company.

The current stars such as Sting, RVD, Hardy and all the other older guys either sink or swim in the storyline. If it's as successful as it should be, all those guys will be old news and TNA would have created nearly a dozen new brand name stars in a matter of 2 or 3 years. Anything that happened beforehand will be forgotten. Remember monster truck Hogan/Giant fight? Remember Robocop? Remember Shockmaster? Remember Sid Vicious/British Bulldog/Sting and the boat explosion? YES, but in 1998 when WCW was at it's apex, nobody cared. All that crap was erased from history. TNA can come back in that same way. No blow is too great if they play their cards right.

Really like that Idea best i've seen so far, And yes bring thr Rock in would put the show firmly on the map but Randy and Kofi would work well there too Kofi X-Division and Ortan just being Ortan maybe Slapping Flair and Killing off the Legend's in TNA he's got a few to play with
