If WWE bought TNA, Which TNA superstars would WWE use?

I was thinking the other day about when WWE bought WCW/ECW and did the invasion storyline and how it was weak as no big WCW names came to WWE.

Guys like Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Scott Steiner and Goldberg either didnt come or came late on and had poor runs as they had no name anymore and had no use to the company.

It got me thinking that if in the next year Vince decided to buy TNA, Which superstars would keep there job ?, or get there job back in the case of Angle and Mick Foley and other Ex-WWE superstars ?

Or Would the TNA stars decline the chance for the hectic schedule WWE has compared to what they had in TNA.

I think Kurt Angle and Foley would get there jobs back. As well as Flair. As far as an invasion story I am not sure if Vince would use anyone from TNA. The smackdown cruiserweight division is dead so that stamps out alot of people.

I am a long time TNA fan and the big three people always talk about are Daniels,Aj Styles, and Samoa Joe. We try to hype up these guys and put them on the level of being the greatest when they are far from it. They would be mid card talent in WWE at best.

Samoa Joe--a couple of fueds and maybe a pay per view match before being released.
Daniels--stuck in ECW for along time.
Aj Styles--stuck on ECW. Then tag champ with someone. Then released

Lets face it if Vince has wanted these guys in all the years TNA has been around he doesnt see much in them. Maybe thats why Samoa Joe and Aj are pushed so much. They know Vince will not take them away.

I would say Vince would get Angle,Flair,Foley,Jeff Hardy,

on the maybe list: Alex Shelley,Aj Styles,Daniels (none going past the mid card status though)

you are absolutely wrong ang i have to disagree with you, Aj Styles is one of the most talented stars ive ever seen and i believe he will only continue to get better. as far as wwe buying TNA it seems like a good idea, and i agree with you, vince wont use them as main eventers (when i say them i mean aj, joe, daniels etc...), but that is purely because vince has the brain the size of a peanut and an elephant is trying to get into it, so he cant even use his miniscule brain.

i think that vince will only used people like daniels joe styles as midcards not as main eventers..pls im tired of hearing that aj styles is the best wrestler in the world to me aj is nothing his a weak ass maineventer in TNA joe or daniels will b a better maineventer sorry for getting out of topic..well as for vince and the tna tag division vince will b lucky and upgrade the tag division in wwe cause right now the tag division sucks he could used the mcmg 3d GenerationMe with those three teams the wwe"s tag division will get better

Oooooooh I like this thread.................

First off I am sure that IF TNA were to be bought out by Vince McMahon, there would be plenty of wrestlers Vince would take an give fat contracts to.

Of course on the definate list would be Kurt Angle I am not so sure he'd be willing to go back as Kurt has a twinkle in his eye to compete in MMA, so who knows maybe Kurt tells Vince to stick it up his ass and focuses on MMA from then on.

Foley I am not so sure would be welcomed back either, he basically screwed Vince and Vince made Foley a world wide name who had book deals and won championships. Sure I knew who Foley was when he was in WCW as Cactus Jack but then again I was a HUGE Sting fan and this man was always assaulting Stinger.

Flair there's no way Vince would bring Flair back, or there's no way Flair would go back. I mean wrestlezone kept up on the story about WWE not wanting Flair again except for a short term public appearance deal and Flair wanted to wrestle again so I do not see him being the type to go back or Vince allow him back.

Team 3D I am sure they'd go back and reclaim their Dudley name. It would be fitting to end their career in the W with their real name.

Matt Morgan I am sure that Vince sees how he missed the boat with this guy I mean he is the DNA of TNA. he's atheletically jacked, and physically stacked. The man is a monster, a gift to women an he's pretty good on the mic. I am sure this guy would be the next big thing in WWE.

Hernandez, I met this guy once and he was a real gentleman *even at the time LAX were bad guys in TNA* I am sure that his goal in the end is to end up on WWE television so that he can have made it to the majors. I think he would also because he's big, he can talk (which tna doesn't allow him to shine on the mic just yet) and he's a parents dream as far as being a person that's friendly and will stand out in the 30 degree weather in just shorts, a wife beater, and a pancho an talk for 2 hours signing autographs and talking to fans. Definite big contract here for Hernandez.

MCMG I think they would be the few X Division stars to get contracts just for the fact that I see Vince trying to start the X Division (complete with title from TNA) if he bought TNA in the WWE.

AJ Styles I see him being brought in for the X Division

Samoa Joe also brought in for the X Division

Daniels brought in for the X Division

Just so that Vince would have the 3 major X Division stars and can keep them down, I am sure he'd give them something mouthwatering to ensure they signed the WWE contract so they'd ignore the fact that they would get held down in the WWE.

Beer Money would be brought in cause they are fan favorites and right now anything that can make money Vince will jump on........hence why Vince and the WWE are all on Cena's nuts.

Nash would come back because he wants his final run to be in the WWE with HBK and I think that both are gonna go until we see em both in one final run with 2 Dudes with Attitudes tag team again.

Sting I'd love to see him in a WWE ring just once, him versus Taker one night only one match only and then send both off to retirement, even if Sting were to only make a one time one shot appearance at Wrestlemania to cap off his illustrious career I'd be happy myself and would buy the ppv and the dvd when they came out.

I think the non chunky Knockouts would all have a spot on the Divas list. The rest of the Knockouts would end up back on the indy roster and doing what they were doing before they were in TNA.

Abyss I see going to the WWE just for the fact that they would be able to run exceptional programming with him and Kane, and not to mention he would be able to pick up Takers' mystifying head games that Taker was known well for.

The Pope would be brought back because from what I had read WWE loved the Pope and he just wanted to test the waters and see what else was out there. I mean it was the same when other mid card status wrestlers left WWF and went to WCW or went from WCW to WWF so I think he'd be welcome back with open arms.

Nigel McGuiness I see going to the WWE just because the man is a technical god. I have to put him on the same level as a Kurt Angle or Bret Hart or Chris Beniot. So I am sure that WWE would use this man and use him good. Kinda like they are going to do with The American Dragon.

Mr. Anderson I see being brought back into the company. I mean honestly one has to ask himself. Is Anderson's one year deal the same thing as Jeff Hardy's only in TNA because he had 3 strikes and had to be fired an has to be off WWE programming a year so they allow the man to go to TNA to keep food on the table for his family. Kinda seems fishy, but I think he'd be allowed back in.

and finally...........Tomko I think that Tomko would be allowed back in the WWE because he has friends there and it's another big man to take over the spots of Triple H and Batista and Taker and Kane when they retire.

The rest of the TNA roster I just have to say that they'd be back on the Indy roster or would wind up in Ring of Honor or would have to find a job. Just like the rest of WCW had to do when Vince fired them (I head though he gave them all huge severance checks for their time and effort and hard work in WCW)

Acquire, Bury, Repeat. That is precisely how Vince would use TNA talent in the WWE... assuming he would chose to use them at all. I don't even think those who jump shipped would be "privledged" enough to get an Invasion angle like the WCW/ECW guys did. Vince does not see TNA as competition that is anywhere close to approaching the WWE's success... let alone surpassing it. Acknowledging them in an invasion-type storyline would imply that they are. McMahon simply wouldn't do that.

If TNA were to fold or get acquired now, WWE would probably try to get Kurt Angle back for a run since the fans would want to see it and Vince knows he could make some money. Hogan might be a possibility too if he would lower his asking price. I'd venture a guess that 99% of the "homegrown" TNA talent would either never make it, or would be given shots in ECW and probably not excel much further past that.

That's no knock on the TNA guys and girls though, as I think they have some phenominal talent over there. It's just that WWE blatantly disregards specific areas where TNA talent has been allowed to shine. Namely, more adult oriented gimmicks/storylines, tag-team wrestling, athleticism and "spots", etc.

k.. first things first... Vince s gonna buy TNA if :
- TNA falls apart
- TNA poses any sort of threat to the WWE

so one of them is bound to happen sooner or later. Now lets hope it happens sooner coz lets face it, if it happens later we don't even have to consider 30% of the TNA roster as they are already washed up (No offense!!).

Now lets make a top 10 here:

1. KURT ANGLE:
No prizes for guessing this one........
Definitely one of the best modern day wrestlers :worship: Technically sound, got good mic skills, and he can also do some g8 comedy for entertainment lovers ( Brock-kurt sections were hilarious)

2. MATT MORGAN:
WWE did a big mistake by letting him go but its never too late. wwe needs guys like him: he s got the power , athleticism and the looks.

3. DANIELS:
I just love this guy. Its really sad that TNA didn give him the push that he deserved. Well if AJ could b a champ for so long y not him??!!!

4. DUDLEYS:
One of the greatest tag team that ever lived. WWE's tag team division needs a serious lift and who better to give that than the dudleys.

5. X-DIVISION TITLE:
Obviously this title has no place in RAW or SD! but it could be a major title in wwe's new venture NXT. I don know exactly what they plan to do with NXT, but if they decide to make it a platform for upcoming superstars then the X- division gives a great look to the show. (Also their names match:rolleyes:)

6. RIC FLAIR:
Not as a wrestler but as a RAW GM. Guest host concept sucks. This guy definitely fits the job description. They could also build a storyline of a cold war between Ric and Vince.

7. TAYLOR WILDE:
This girl can actually wrestle unlike most of the wwe divas. I think wwe's woman's division is struggling after trish-lita era. Taylor wilde- abyss Vs. raven-Daffney was amazing.

8.WOLF:
This guy is definitely the next big thing. His feud with kurt was the best possible debut anyone could have. He is got the moves to excel. I am sure the wwe creative can come up with something here. May be a Benoit-II ???

9. BEER MONEY INC., :
A great tag team unit. Good persona. WWE could bring back JBL and form a faction here. They are both good wrestlers and could learn a few things from bradshaw.

10. AJ STYLES:
Finally!!................ Honestly i think he is over rated. He is not a main event material.:banghead: If wwe decides to take him he would never win a major title BUT he could be a great X- division champ. He could give some credibility to the title once it finds a new home in NXT.

Honorary mention:
JB:
SD! 's announcers suck..... they really need someone who can talk... I think he would be a great addition to wwe announcers.

AJ Styles and Kurt Angle are the only two they'd seek out, I think. Samoa Joe might get a look in, but that is pretty much it. Every single other member of their roster is either too old, too shit or have already been released from WWE for not being good enough. The only exceptions to this are the X-Division guys, which doesn't appear to be a current avenue of exploration for the WWE. People talking about Matt Morgan etc. are delusional. He is the same guy that was released in 2005, minus a stutter. He wasn't good enough then, he isn't good enough now.

TNA has given him the confidence that he can be a main eventer.... WWE just gave him side kick roles back in 2004-05.

This move by TNA should have done him a world of good... i agree that he s still not there yet.. but he s an exciting prospect for wwe.. i would pick him over Sheamus anyday.. but thats an entirely different matter.

In short i stand by my list..

Two words: Black Machismo.

Really, this is a no-brainer. A guy whose entire gimmick is to imitate Randy Savage? Giving Vince McMahon a constant reminder to the fans that the real Randy Savage is unwanted, no matter how much the fans beg for him to be inducted into the HOF??

Imagine, before Lethal debuts, you have a series of vignettes, with a few "OH YEAAAAAAAAAAAHs" thrown in...they hint and hint that someone "macho" is coming. Build it up for weeks...then, the beginning of one Raw starts out with pomp and circumstance...the crowd would absolutely flip out, as they expect to see the return of the Macho Man. And then Jay Lethal comes out. Vince would get a huge kick out of such a great swerve.

alot of interesting possiblities here. but besides the obvious names. the E could use the tag teams and the knockouts the most. i mean almost every diva has held the butterfly or womens title at least once. there isno real dominent female like there was with moolah or alundra blaze. the womens titles needs some legitimacy and with some real talent, like tara, hamada, kong, for starters along with the rest(after some develpment for tbp) could really be great for wwe. as for the tag teams, generation me reminds me of the mexicools and were fun to watch. maybe brng back london to tag with kendrick, jbl to manage beer money, rename the british invasion and give them a new british bulldog type gimmick and maybe have them fued with the hart dynasty. and finally, who wouldnt want to see DX vs the DUDLY BOYS and the nastys after getting back in shape could be fun in a TLC match, or even reform the hardys since theyll have jeff back.........OH SNAP, now that im thinking bout it i better leave before i write a book
