TNA: Where is the Emotion?

WWEIsLife2

Championship Contender
I got to thinking about this a little bit ago and wanted to get some people's thoughts on this. I have been a Wrestling Fan since the early 90s from WWF/E,WCW,ECW,etc. One thing thats kept me being a Fan today is emotion and caring about whats going on. That said I find that TNA lacks any kind of emotion most of the time and there's no reason to care about most of whats being presented. I know they have good Matches most of the time but where is the sense of urgency to make Fans care? They seem to end so quickly and there's no time to digest what just took place because they jump right into the next thing. Its just like ok thats done, lets move on,and nobody will care in the end. I have felt this way for a long time watching Impact. WWE in my opinion still gives me a reason to care about whats going on and even same with ROH. I just don't get that sense of emotion with TNA because they don't give a me reason. What does everyone think about this? Lets not turn this into a WWE vs TNA argument because this isn't about WWE.

Let's be honest the only time storylines were actually good and unpredictable was when WCW and WWF was at war. These days with the internet and the no compete clause in wrestlers contracts storylines doesn't matter to me no more . I like Impact because I just wanna see good matches which they have TNA storylines might not be the best but atleast TNA doesn't talk and cut promos all day like WWE does.

Two different companies with two different focuses.

TNA is reverting back to putting on killer matches and that's fine for them. It may not be ideal for fans who are used to over saturation of soap opera story lines but TNA is fine with what they are doing.

I welcome the more wrestling based shows.

To each his own I guess.

TNA is like an appalling version of WCW. They have younger guys who can wrestle, but we're not given a reason to care. They have (or had) major WWE stars, but those men can't draw for TNA due to a lack of exposure.

I'm all for people having their individual opinions, but I think being a TNA fan is more about torturing yourself in some misguided attempt to prove that there's a viable alternative to WWE, and that you're "on it". There isn't, and you're probably a bit simple in the head.

This is one of the reasons why I put up with the Claire Lynch shit as long as I did. Because, regardless of how painfully and agonizingly stupid it was, it was a feud between Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles, and led to some pretty sweet matches. That's why I feel so bad for guys like Styles, Roode, Storm, Joe, Daniels, Low-Ki, etc, because they're showcasing their great skills, but that's being overshadowed by weak booking in the term of match finishes and mind-melting builds.

wwe has 80% talk and pathetic predictable storylines and 20% of solid wrestling matches but they are taking a different route to be comical and heroic and stupid! We are all tired of the wwe it has become one huge joke that I cannot imagine a wrestler walking out of the arena with his head up high? UFC attacks them and worst wrestling excrement still don t get it and never will! The only thing wwe needs now is bring Doink to join Wyatt family! wwe has grown boooooring and very tiiiiresome!! Time to advert and convert to TNA folks wwe is full of excrement and no solid matches to watch , tired of john semen that VInce likes to have him around for his sponge bath!

Is this directed at TNA fans in general or just those who don't like WWE?

I should note that after reading my previous post it looked like I was bashing WWE which is my fault because of the wording I used.

I'm sure your comment was in no way directed at my post but I did want to clarify that I'm a fan of both companies. I can see how my post would have been misleading though.

TNA has definitely had some problems but with the direction they're taking right now it's been pretty good.

WWE has some bad story lines but they also have stuff to keep people interested.

Neither company is without flaws but both have positives as well.

The whole "TNA sucks" "No WWE sucks" thing is pretty pointless. And I'm not accusing you of that personally. That's more directed at those who constantly look for reasons to bash the company they don't like.

:shrug:I have no idea what this little rant means or has anything to do with what I posted here. By the way good job not reading my post about not turning this into WWE vs TNA. I feel like a 5 year old typed that.
