TNA Pulls Plug on Chyna if XXX DVD Hits Shelves

Once I heard that Chyna was actually voluntarily doing the porn I was pretty sure she was done in wrestling, I mean obviously WWE isn't going to touch her, and as smutty as TNA may be(female wise I don't think its any smuttier than Attitude Era, xept the girls are trashier, I mean the girls aren't actually stripping every week)its a fine line between having a sex tape and actually going out and doing porn, its probably like an unwritten(or maybe it is written)rule of show business, I'd try to find a comparison from Hollywood, but I don't think there are any real actresses who have had sex tapes, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are really only famous for being rich and then having had their sex tapes. Pam Anderson was never a real actress.

But imagine if someone like, hmm troubled Lindsay Lohan decided to go into porn. No matter how fucked up her life is now, she could probably have 1 good performance or gig and her career could be rejuvinated but if she decided to voluntarily go into porn? Its unheard of, she would have to have hit rock bottom and I'm pretty sure she'd be done in Hollywood. I feel like its a similar situation with Chyna, just to sticky a subject to deal with.

And oh yeah, i don't know wtf Chyna's thinking, it actually looked like she could've found that lifesaver in TNA(somehow), oh well, I guess selling her body for sex is just as good. Maybe she'll make it really big, but then again I know I'd never look at something like that(Chyna's porn, not porn in general ).

TNA doesn't need Chyna. It's bad enough that Hogan says sponsors think they stand for "Tits n Ass" you don't need someone on the payroll getting railed out by two dudes, it's just bad exposure.

I'm actually surprised that TNA has set some standards for themselves, maybe it means Jeff Hardy won't be brought back until he can prove that he can be sober nd stay sober.

And as far as her already doing one porn before they brought her in. That was years ago and you could always claim tha it'sin the past nd not happening again but you can' have her part of your company and doing something like this.

Generally speaking, it'll probably work out best for everyone this way.

For one thing, Chyna is no big lost whatsoever to TNA. Pretty much everything that made Chyna Chyna is no longer there. She doesn't have the look that she used to have, which was a HUGE part of the success she had. Her muscular physique is gone, she doesn't look intimidating. She now just looks like a relatively good looking middle age woman that's had a ton of plastic surgery.

Also, especially over the course of the last 10 years or so, problems in Chyna's life have become really well known. Some of it has even been tabloid fodder. Hell, some of it has even played out on television before. She has a history of drug problems, she overdosed on sleeping pills I think about 1.5 years back. That's the last I've really heard about her drug issues but she's just a time bomb waiting to go off. Jeff Hardy went off and TNA is still trying to wipe the egg off its collective face so maybe they actually learned a valuable lesson.

If Chyna wants to do porn, more power to her. Like I said, her future in wrestling is probably pretty dim. I'm sure the WWE isn't interested in her and she can make more money makin' dirty movies than she would in TNA. The only thing about going back into porn is that it makes me wonder if she'll wind up falling back into her old, destructive habits. Think about it, how many emotionally and/or mentally healthy women do you hear about that wind up getting into porn?

The real issue is not TNA/Impact wrestling receiving heat if they hired her. The real issue is that the conservative pro-family groups would not only go after Chyna, but also TNA/Impact wrestling, Spike TV and it's parent company / affiliated networks, and even more forcefully via boycotts, every advertiser that pays to advertise product during the program. Plus some of the people involve in the pro-family groups would already be upset that the tapings are at Universal Studios which is affiliated with Disney and also would try to publicly call out professing Christians such as Sting and AJ Styles and call them a hypocrite for working for TNA.

From the mp3 interviews I've heard from Hogan concerning the name change to Impact, good ole-fashioned American brands such as Chevrolet and others would never advertise on TNA wrestling because as Marky-Marc said in post 29, they think TNA (the wrestling name) actually meant "Tits n Ass" instead of Total Nonstop Action. It's bad PR for TNA/Impact but worse PR for the advertisers.

Well not to be argumentative here, but Universal is not associated with Disney. It is actually a competitor park to Walt Disney World.

I was about to say the same thing. She had already been in porno before this one. It sounds like to me, TNA was stringing her along, brought her in to test her out and are merely using the new porno as an excuse. If they dont want to use her, they should just come out and say it, IMO. The porno should not have anything to do with if if they were gonna sign her in the first place, had already done porn...

If I remember correctly the video with her and Waltman was a personal video that was later obtained by a company and made into a porn. To me that is a lot different than signing on to do a porn. On top of that it is a hardcore porn. I could see why TNA wouldn't go near that especially if they are re branding their name for sponsor purposes.

I'm sorry, but her appearance at Sacrifice did absolutely nothing for me. I didn't feel any nostalgia, and I wasn't excited to see Chyna step inside the ring again. She did get a nice pop upon her return, but I don't think Chyna could be effective in the long run. Sure, a lot of people were probably happy to see her return a little while ago, but as time goes on, I'm sure a lot of people will realize they're looking at Chyna 2011. She isn't the same phenomenon who was very popular back in the late 90's. Chyna used to be the big and bad chick who could knock your teeth down your throat, but her impressive muscular physique is gone, and this was Chyna's main attraction.

When I look at Chyna nowadays, I don't see the same intimidating woman that was popular during the Attitude Era. I think Chyna has lost a lot of the spark she once had, and I don't think this will be a big loss for TNA.

Simple answer: Jeff Hardy place not only himself but other performers in danger of serious injury by his drug addiction. Repeatedly. As well as being arrested for intent to sell.

Chyna did a porn.

I'd take Chyna anyday. A little embarrassing, but better than placing themselves legally liable for an injury and getting sued to the moon for allowing a known drug addict to perform.

While Jeff Hardy is a legitimate irresponsible danger to his colleagues, Chyna is a square-jawed porn actress. Out of morbid curiosity, I've seen her previous porn attempts. So sad. Even on a porn actress' front. I have to admit I haven't seen her "her fabled" match against a non-wrestling Karen Whatever. She still did look out of shape and just ready to have another self-gratifying porn video with whomever (I can't even premuse it's still X-Asshole). If so, good for her, he's pretty hung. But still, business-wise? I just say why? We are at the internet age! Horny kids can still get women better than Chyna for free, so why?!

it looks like she wants to do porn for living, that means any long term she made with TNA most likely not going to happen and it looks like she doesn't want to go back to wrestling. To me it looks like a one time thing for he to get back in the ring. As for as her career choices, what can we say, what she does is her choice and her life. That means she made this decision before going to TNA and i don't know how anybody didn't see this coming

Like she said, whatever makes her happy and I'm happy for her, really happy. In fact all us males & lesbians should be happy. Not only did she save her career from being even more of disaster if she joined with that god awful TNA but seeing Chyna in more porn movies...*pulls pants down*
