I agree 100%. I want TNA to do well becuase they have the best talent in the world on their roster.

Just look at who is booking TNA, 3 of the worst ever, Jeff Jarrett, Dutch Mantel and Vince Russo. With these guys writting for TNA it will never be what it should. It's really frustrating to watch.

I apologize for my earlier typing mistakes trying typing with a 2 year old hanging off youre arm and you will no what i was going through.I dont understand why the heads at TNA dont turn the booking over to Jim Cornette has anybody ever hear of Smokey Mtn Wrestling it was everything I thought TNA was trying to be.Old school real wrestlers providing an alternative to the WWE.

I am not a big fan of TNA but a thread like this is just asking for trouble. Posting "TNA makes no sense" in TNA forum is like making a "Bears suck" poster and putting it up in downtown Chicago. It won't get you too many positive responses. But as long as this thread is up let me express my opinions on several things.

1. TNA's booking is horrible. Getting 3 title changes in 3 months speaks for itself. They have turned the X division into the complete opposite of what it was meant to be, and there hasn't been 1 storyloine in the last 4-5 months in there that made much sense or has helped TNA in any way.

2. TNA has a talented bunch of wrestlers around but not as talented as you people are trying to make it out to be. Athletics is not all that it takes to be a wrestler. It takes being different than a wrestler to your left and the right, having the ability to cut it on the mic as well knowing the business enough to make your own judgements on when to go all out and when to tone things down. Right now, most of the things TNA wrestlers are doing is rushing through their spots, looking for cheap pops and using WWE's bad rep to make themselves look good and different. These things can only work for so long before they get old. And lets hope TNA talent and management can come up with something more original in the meantime.

3. As I said, TNA needs to focus more on being TNA rather than not being WWE. They have the X Division, they have sting, angle, Samoa Joe, Christian, etc, as well as their young guys. If they want the fans to buy their product they will have to put something new on the table, something different that will attract not only the internet marks who hate WWE but also general wrestling fans who dont follow what is going on behind the scenes and turn on TV to be entertained. Otherwise TNA just doesn't stand a chance of ever being at WWE's level.

Well first off i love TNA.Im not hating on them at all.I am hating on the poor deciscions they have been making. You say something about the mic work in TNA,you really think Randy Orton,Cris Masters,Jeff Hardy, or Kenny Dykstra are better on the mic than AJ or Joe OR even Cris Sabin?I dont want to compare TNA with WWE I want a federation that ic an watch nd not even think about WWE, which is what TNA could become with the right people backstage.

TNA has had a few storylines. There's the Angle/Samoa Joe storyline, Team-3D/LAX, that whole Nash/X-Div. thing, the storyline with Tomko and Cage, etc. etc. I'd say out of that small list, the Nash/X-Div. storyline didn't make much sense to me, just because of the fact that Nash seems to come and go as he pleases (well he says cause of his knees) My view on the whole Nash thing is, if you're gonna be there to do storylines, at least do some wrestling, and if you can't, then please just retire already. Although, the same can be said about some WWE wrestlers still laying around.

They Have Stories Thats Not The Problem Its That Their Stories Never Lead Anywhere And There Over Before They Even Start

What do you mean by "Their stories never lead anywhere" Like they never take a story into a ppv, or there is no start/finish for the story?

There Is Never An Ending That Makes Sense Take Christian Vs Sting Before It Was Even Getting Started They Brought Abyss Into The Story Now Cage Wins The Belt And All Of A Sudden Will Face Angle It Makes No Sense I Guess I Am Too Old School And Remeber When A Feud Was More Than 2 Matches. Angle/joe Could Be Legendary Sting/cage Could Do Alot But They Face Once Or Twice And Its Over.hell Steve Williams And Mike Rotunda Fueded 3 Yrs Straight One Time Roberts Vs Rude 2 Yrs I Guess I Was Just Hoping Tna Would Tell Stories Like The Old Days When I Heard They Got Cornette I Guess I Just Got Overly Excited(memories Of Smw Played Out In My Head)

^A lot of what's been done in the last few months since Russo took over was him basically using TNA as a proving ground for new ideas and format changes (some of which I liked...some of which made me wretch). He also had to assume control and finish some of the storylines that were already in progress, especially at B.F.G. I do agree that some of the booking is very, very scatterbrained. They need to run through their booking plans in advance and start focusing on more cohesion. The product has run smoother in certain instances for my taste (Joe/Angle's feud has been played well, A.J.'s heel turn is working way better than I expected, and LAX is getting major heat) but they still have many kinks to iron out. I find Russo's ideas to be a shot in the arm, but the execution leaves something to be desired.

It has nothing to do with that. Please try not to capitalize every word. Why? Thats where people get confused. Nothing gets me more pissed than when you have ignorant people on forums who seem to forget everything they learned in school. Yeah; its only a forum, but that reflects on you. Dont blame your kid!

Now on topic; I think Russo is doing quite well, and think TNA's ratings are going up with him on staff.

you really think Randy Orton...better on the mic than AJ or Joe OR even Cris Sabin?

Yes, I do think Randy Orton is better then most on the mic.. Orton is gold on the mic. He oozes Charisma out of his ass.

[Sorry For Saying Ass, I dont know if it counts as swearing, last time itll happen..]

As for TNA making no sence, I have to agree with you..
Serotonin. Whats the point. They found a new system for Jobbers to develop! Hurrah! Because thats what their making Kazarian, Bently and Devine, just jobbers who get beaten afterwards..
But I love TNA, so I'll let it slide. I loved the PCS, Senshi Is gold..
Warrior.

:) ..I dont have anything else to say at the moment..

Well, it's official. Vince Russo has pissed me off in an inexcusable way tonight. A.J. did the job to Kurt Angle in a match that was faster than the goddamn Road Runner. I actually liked the rest of the show, but announcing a booking for one of the potentially huge TNA matchups of all time and then giving me that is bad enough to warrant a mammoth asskicking custom made for Russo's behind. I hope A.J. is disagreeing with that frame of mind when it comes to booking, because his starpower just dropped about five notches tonight. I'm so pissed off right now that I'm going to go watch some ROH matches to try and get the stain of this episode of TNA from out of my mouth. No sense in me discussing what parts of the show I liked when the most important one was pissed right down the drain. Thanks, TNA. Dumb$hits.

i knew the styles vs. angle match was going to be short tonight...but i though it would be wayy better than that...guess i was wrong...this is one of they many mistakes TNA has done....but are they making thses mistakes because of the limited time they have on television...can spike please give them 2 hours please....then i can see if TNA is good or not... hard to judge a show that only showcases wrestling for an hour...cause everything seems rushed.....

I am surprised no one has mentioned the fact that they only have an hour worth of TV time on spike. I mean for TNA to get off ground Spike TV needs to take a gamble and give them two hours wednesday when there is not good programming on any of the major networks (except now for the rating monster american idol) and not on Thursday where its getting creamed by too many network programs.

Again, I believe TNA is the new alternative with a great shot at being better than WWE but with just one hour programming its tough to be a great wrestling show.

oh and before someone tries to be a SA yes I know they are "probably" getting two hours on Monday night soon sooo thats where its going to be interesting to see how well they do with more time-because I do remember their primetime primere show that was two hours and that was actually good.

They are getting a two hour spot ONE NIGHT ONLY on a monday in february. Thats it for now. Spike has offered TNA a two hour time slot, but TNA did not like the way the contract was laid out, so TNA and Spike are renegotiating the contract

the ratings going up could have to do with the new time-slot and nothing to do with Russo. Im indifferent on Russo being added to the mix, but the fact of the matter is that he hasn't really been on board long enough to impact the ratings just yet. The bump in viewers is due to the time slot change.

i agree, it is hard to cram quality work in an hour time-slot. Im a WWE fan but to watch the WWE pi$$ aways about 15 minutes with the donald and rosie match was pretty hard to watch. Those extra 15 minutes would be used very nicely in TNA and help to slow down the show and get more in depth in certain areas.

While I think TNA's storylines are sometimes rediculous, TNA is a promotion based more on wrestling talent than on storylines. While I think storylines are important in all promotions, TNA doesn't seem to agree. They make storylines last a few months tops, and then it's on to the next one. I think TNA would be more sucessful with two hours, so they could make the storylines make more sense and last longer. They also need to keep the title on people for longer periods of time, instead of it jumping to the next contender everytime. TNA has the tools to be the next big thing, but it still needs fine tuning to get there.

The purpose of having Cage loose the title was to turn him heel by Sting supposably screwing him. As to why give him back title. Because he deserves it and above all he is TNA's top heel now that Jarrett is gone.

Serotonin is getting squashed these days for a push. There suppose to be going threw this painful training where whenever they loose a match they get beat by Raven. I know that Stable will make a come back soon and become big. It's just a neccasary process. Raven's flock always went threw a process like this. A test of some sort.

Angle beat Joe to make a strong come back but then they had Joe beat Angle cleanly making it even getting both stars over. Then they went to round 3 where it was an iron man match. They had Joe put him in the Ankle Lock for the end and Angle tapped a secound after time ran out and there still going. It was a good feud. You shouldn't jump to conclusions. You should wait out a bit.
