Welcome to the LIVE SPOILERS for TNA Impact to air over the next two weeks. There is another TV taping next Monday to get the product through the New Year’s holiday and to the Final Resolution PPV. Former NWA World champion Dory Funk Jr was back in attendance with his trainees from the Funkin Conservatory.

Impact hour number one to air December 14th:

Robert Roode and the lovely Ms. Brooks made their way out to the ring, with Roode carrying some sort of file. Roode was greeted with a “You Suck” chant from the people. Roode said none of us should be happy because he wasn’t a happy person. He called for Eric Young to enter the Impact Zone to take an offer he can’t refuse. But Roode didn’t get Young; he got Kurt Angle who told them to hit the bricks. Angle said the Turning Point match where he tapped out was playing in his mind. Angle said he gave Joe a chance at revenge and he said Joe that he wanted a rematch. Joe appeared on the video screens and said that before Turning Point Angle said it was done. Joe said he was focused on the NWA World Heavyweight title not Kurt Angle. Angle got out of the ring and had words with Mike Tenay and got angered by something Don West said. Angle went Ken Shamrock and locked on the Ankle Lock. TNA security came out as Mike Tenay pleaded with Angle to let West out of the hold. Finally Angle let go and went to the locker room area.

Back from the commercial Mike Tenay addressed the home audience on what transpired.

(1) In a non-title encounter, NWA World Heavyweight champion Abyss (w/Father James Mitchell) defeated former NWA World Heavyweight champion Ron “the Truth” Killings.

At the bell Abyss charged Killings but “the Truth” tagged the champion with an enziguri and clothesline that sent him to the floor. Killings followed out with a tope which made him land on top of Abyss’ head. As Killings got in they went to commercial. Abyss and Mitchell had words on the floor as referee “Slick” Mark Johnson laid down the ten count. After rapping with the fans Killings was dragged to the floor by Abyss who smashed Killings into the ringsteps just as the show came back from the break. Back in the ring Abyss wish some help from Mitchell choked Killings on the ropes. Killings countered out of Shock Treatment and hit the flying forearm but missed the Scissor kick. Abyss went for the chokeslam but Killings fought out eventually hitting a side kick for two. Killings went after Mitchell and ran right into the Black hole Slam which allowed Abyss to win.

After the match Tenay was joined by Jim Cornette at the broadcast table. The interview girl spoke to Christian Cage and Tomko where Cage said he wanted a rematch or “the dirty little secret” would be aired. Ms. Brooks was demanding Eric Young sign the contract when Kurt Angle attacked asking Young where Samoa Joe was located.

(2) In a non title match, former champion Petey Williams defeated World X Division champion “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels

Daniels went right to a overhand wristlock which Williams countered out into a headlock but Daniels went back to the wrist. Daniels briefly went to the floor but came back in when he saw Williams going for a move. Williams hit several chest chops but his clothesline was turned into an STO from Daniels. Daniels raked his hands down Williams’ back and then delivered a corkscrew elbow to the back. Daniels went for a chinlock but Williams fought to his feet only to be slammed to the mat but Daniels landed on Williams’ shins instead of upper body on a springboard moonsault. Chris Sabin came out with the X title belt and was followed by Jerry Lynn. Sabin bailed and left Lynn holding the belt and Daniels leveled Lynn. This allowed Williams to roll up Daniels for the pinfall win. Lynn and Daniels traded heated words as Sabin gloated on the rampway.

Backstage Kurt Angle put “Slick” Mark Johnson in the Ankle Lock wanting Samoa Joe’s location. Back from the break Tenay and Cornette talked about the main event of the evening when Kurt Angle came out and dragged So Cal Val into the ring. This brought Cornette from the announce table into the ring. Cornett said he knows Angle wants the rematch and he wants Angle to have it but Cornette said he can’t force it due to a stipulation in Joe’s contract. However he could make a tag team encounter against Samoa Joe for next week. Angle seemed to agree to the match for next week or he could kick Cornette’s butt next.

Back from the break Jeremy Borash spoke to America’s Most Wanted (“Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm and “Wildcat” Chris Harris w/Gail Kim) about tonight’s match. Harris had a patch over his right eye from glass scraping it at the PPV. He said AMW has settled their differences and are ready for the match.

(3) In a title vs. team dissolves match w/Konnan locked in the King of the Mountain cage, NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez) defeated America’s Most Wanted (“Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm and “Wildcat” Chris Harris w/Gail Kim)

The cage was placed by the announce table as the brawl broke out at the bell. Harris smashed Hernandez’s head into the cage taunting Konnan. Storm went to work on Homicide’s injured head as Harris dragged Hernandez back to the ring. A “Kill Those Gringos” chant broke out as LAX took over on Harris and the injured eye. Storm was helpless as he couldn’t help his partner from the ring apron. Harris avoided LAX and they collided with each other. Storm came into help even out the odds. He decked Hernandez with a superkick. Storm grabbed his beer bottle and when it looked like he was going to attack Homicide, he attacked Chris Harris??? As Kim looked on is shock Hernandez rolled Homicide into the ring where he pinned Harris. Petey Williams came out and had words with Storm as he left ringside. So by contract and decision from James Storm, America’s Most Wanted is no more and I am pissed off at it despite normally being impartial in my reporting.

“Captain Charisma” Christian Cage and Tomko came out to get their answer from Abyss. But before Cage opened his mouth Abyss came out and jumped Tomko. Cage snuck from behind but it didn’t do any good as Abyss was ready for him. However Abyss didn’t see Tomko sneak in with a clothesline. Guess the secret will remain that way for a while longer. As Cage and Tomko left for higher ground Abyss decked Earl Hebner with a punch, Andrew Thomas with the Black Hole Slam and hit Rudy Charles with Shock Treatment. Cornette left the announce table to try and calm down Abyss but he got choked. The lights went down and came up to find Sting in the ring with them. Sting said something and Abyss choked out Father James Mitchell. Abyss let both men go when Sting grabbed the NWA World Heavyweight title belt. You read that right the born again Christian stole something. As the show ended Mitchell ran up the rampway to get away from Abyss.

Impact hour number two to air December 21st:

Don West returned to the broadcast table on crutches and a wrap on his ankle. So Cal Val also came back, dressed in holiday attire.

(1) Sting defeated Serotonin member Frankie “the Future” Kazarian (w/ “Hotshot” Johnny Devine and “Maverick” Matt Bentley)

Early on we had a fight between three kendo stick and a baseball bat which shockingly went in favor of the metal bat. But Bentley and Devine grabbed Sting’s ankles allowing Kazarian to hit a flip kick to the corner. Kazarian went for another move but Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop and won the match.

After the match Sting told Abyss he wanted to give the title belt back to him but he wanted something in return, a rematch for the belt. Sting said Abyss had until the end of the hour (yeah that again) to give a reply without assistance from Mitchell. Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams and Jay Lethal came out and gave the fans some merchandise as Mike Tenay and Don West spoke to the home fans. Raven and Serotonin came out once again to discipline Kazarian for his loss.

(2) In a tables match, Team 3D (Brother Ray and Devon welcome back from wherever they went) vs. the Naturals (Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas w/ “the Franchise” Shane Douglas)

The Naturals jumped 3D at the bell and we were fighting once more. Devon avoided a double clothesline and Ray hit the Naturals with one of his own. Ray hit both Naturals with a corner splash and dumped Stevens to the floor. They grabbed Andy Douglas and hit the Wassup nutshot and then the table request was granted by 3D but first they hit Stevens with a 3D. Ray hit Douglas with a top rope power bomb into a table to win. After the match Shane Douglas grabbed the house mic telling the Naturals he warned them and then ended the partnership.

Ron “the Truth” Killings and Lance Hoyt came out to the ringside area with Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Petey Williams to hand out more items to the fans. Killings did some sort of Christmas rap song. They were followed out by Brother Runt who dressed as Santa Claus who also passed out stuff. However he was interrupted by the Latin American Xchange who came out with a mini Christmas tree. Konnan said Cornette played with fire and lost last week. Konnan said the tree represented their struggles during the holiday season. Santa Runt said they should be full of joy not being angered with the crowd and TNA. Runt told Konnan to zip his lip but Homicide and Hernandez jumped him. LAX ran off when Eric Young, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams, Ron Killings and Lance Hoyt came to save Santa.

After some commercials NWA World Heavyweight champion Abyss minus Father James Mitchell came to the ring. He was joined by Sting and the championship belt. Sting dropped the baseball bat and addressed Abyss. Sting said Abyss had the potential to be a great champion if he learned to forget the past. Sting wanted a handshake to seal the deal for Final Resolution. On the video screen appeared Christian Cage apparently on location. Cage said Abyss should do the right thing or he would reveal all of Abyss’ past. Cage looked like he was in front of a mental hospital or prison. Sting said that Cage was a big dick and Abyss didn’t need to listen to any of it. But instead of a handshake Abyss choked Sting. Sting fought back with punches to Abyss’ head but the monster fought back. Sting was going to lock in the Scorpion Death Lock when TNA Security hit the ring. When things looked settled down Tomko came out to distract Abyss. Cage appeared in the ring as one of the security men and decked Sting. Abyss grabbed Sting’s bat and looked like he was going to save Sting when Mitchell came out and ordered Abyss to leave ringside. Abyss didn’t listen and ran back to the ring sending Cage and Tomko running. Mitchell ran after Abyss who stood over Sting with the bat. Abyss handed the bat off to Sting and Mitchell seemed to get control of Abyss.

(3) Samoa Joe and “Phenomenal” AJ Styles defeated Kurt Angle and Rhino.

Joe’s tag team relationships haven’t last long, just ask Sting and Christopher Daniels. Rhino and Angle jumped their opponents before the bell and brawled all over the place. Joe and Angle fought around the announce table while Rhino took Styles into the fans. Styles’ had looked to be split open when Rhino tossed him into a wooden wall by the seats. Finally Andrew Thomas got the bell rung when the foursome entered the ring. Styles wanted in after Joe leveled Rhino so Joe obliged him. Rhino fired back with a Spinebuster and crawled over to tag Angle in as Styles tagged in Joe. Angle hit both men with suplexes and locked Styles in the Ankle Lock but Joe hit Angle with an enziguri. Rhino hit Joe with a Belly to Belly suplex but his GORE met Joe’s boot into the face. Angle hit Joe with the Olympic Slam as Rhino got rolled up by Styles for the pin. Rhino and Styles fought to the back as Angle locked Joe in the Ankle Lock. TNA Security ran out to get Angle off Joe but it didn’t work as Angle refused to let go. Angle seemed to be yelling give me my rematch as he left the ringside area. When the show went to commercial the TNA trainer hit the ring as Joe appeared to injure his left knee which was already encased in a brace.

*SPOILERS** TNA iMPACT! Tapings (3 Weeks)
12/18/2006 by Ryan Clark

Thanks to Richard Trionfo for the following results

Impact 12/28

- Jeremy Borash is outside Jim Cornette's office. Kurt Angle is in the office, demanding a rematch with Samoa Joe. Cornette says he is still trying to decide if Sting or Christian will get the title match against Abyss at the PPV. Cornette asks Angle not to disrupt Impact like he did last week. Angle says he is going to get his rematch and leaves the room. Cornette then calls security and tells them to keep an eye on Angle tonight.

- James Storm & Chris Sabin defeated Petey Williams & Christopher Daniels when Storm hit Williams with a chair to get the three count. During the match, Sabin tried to bring a chair in, and ended up arguing with Jerry Lynn, who tried to stop him, at ringside. Daniels hit a dive from the ring, hitting both Sabin and Lynn, resulting in a brawl amongst the three of them.

- They showed Samoa Joe in the back, on crutches, accompanied by a woman.

- Team 3D came out. Brother Ray noted how few tag teams there are now. He said AMW split up, the Naturals have been beaten so badly they'll probably never be seen again, and Voodoo Kin Mafia is busy with the other VKM, so all that leaves is LAX. Brother Runt came out and said he was glad that Team 3D was back, but he wondered where Team 3D was last week when LAX was beating him up. Brother Ray reminded Runt that he had been told to stay out of trouble while they were gone, and he went and got himself involved in a mess with Abyss. Ray and Runt argued, and Ray asked Runt if he had been drinking, to which Runt pulls out a bottle. They begin shoving, and Ray clotheslined Runt. Devon tells Ray to take it easy on Runt. Ray tells Devon to get a table, but Devon refuses. LAX then hits the ring and attacks Team 3D, with security coming out to break it up. Brother Runt gets a chair and hits Homicide, Hernandez and some of the security members. Homicide gets put on a table, and Brother Ray powerbombs Runt through the table with Homicide on it.

- Robert Roode defeated Lance Hoyt. During the match, they showed Ms. Brooks in the back making an offer to Eric Young, then she came out to ringside to help Roode get the victory.

- Sting defeated Christian Cage and Abyss in a Nightstick On A Pole match. The rules of the match were that the first person to get the nightstick and use it would be the winner. Tomko interfered in the match, grabbing the nightstick, but Sting catapulted Christian into Tomko, causing him to drop it, and Sting got it and hit Christian with it for the win. After the match, Tomko and Christian went after Sting, but Abyss helped Sting. Sting handed Abyss the nightstick and left. Jim Mitchell yelled at Abyss after the match.

- Mike Tenay and Jim Cornette were in the ring, and Cornette announced Sting vs. Abyss vs. Christian in an Elimination match for Final Resolution. They announced that Samoa Joe had been named "Mr. TNA" for 2006. Joe came out to accept the trophy, and Kurt Angle came out during his acceptance speech with the woman that was with Joe earlier. Angle tells Joe if he doesn't give him a rematch, he's going to break her ankle. Joe tells Angle to come down to the ring, but Angle is about to put the woman in the ankle lock and Joe agrees to the rematch. Angle says "It's not personal" then pauses and says "It is personal" and puts the woman in the ankle lock. Joe chases Angle off, and the woman is carried off to end the show.

Impact 1/4

- Rhino defeats Robert Roode with a rollup. Ms. Brooks tries to distract Rhino, but it doesn't work, leading to another Roode-Brooks argument. As Rhino leaves the ring, AJ Styles attacks him, and Roode joins in to help Styles. They finish him off with Styles hitting a frog splash.

- Voodoo Kin Mafia came out wearing sombreros and ponchos. BG James talked about how WWE hasn't responded to their challenge yet. They repeated the challenge from Turning Point, and noted that they tried to issue the challenge at a live WWE event. They said they would have to "step things up" and they would deal with Michael Hickenbottom directly. They challenge him to show up at the Alamo at "High Noon" the following Wednesday to accept the challenge, and then they will tape it to be shown on Impact.

- Homicide defeated Brother Runt in a streetfight. Hernandez interfered, giving Runt the Border Toss into a ladder, then Homicide got the cover. After the match, Homicide set up Runt for a Gringo Killer, but Team 3D ran out for the save.

- Christian Cage vs. Kurt Angle was a no-contest. As Angle came to the ring, Samoa Joe attacked him, and they brawled all over the Impact Zone. Security separated them. Jim Cornette came out and said to let them fight, and told security to just make sure the fans don't get hurt. Joe and Angle brawled out of the building. Jim Cornette announced that at Final Resolution that Joe vs. Angle will be a 30-minute Ironman match. Christian and Angle finally happened, with Tomko attacking Angle, and the lights going out and Sting appearing in the ring to end the show.

Impact 1/11

- AJ Styles, Chris Sabin & James Storm defeated Petey Williams, Christopher Daniels & Rhino when Sabin pinned Daniels.

- Kurt Angle defeated Matt Bentley with the ankle lock. After the match, Raven caned Bentley for losing the match.

- Konnan came out, but was attacked by Team 3D, leading to a brawl with LAX. After the brawl, Brother Ray took the mic and said that since LAX took out Brother Runt, they took out Konnan. Ray said this was a war that LAX couldn't handle. Ray said they would take the tag titles from LAX at Final Resolution.

- Jim Cornette brought out Christian with Tomko. Cornette said that Tomko was barred from ringside for Christian vs. Abyss vs. Sting at the PPV. He then ordered Christian to sit in a Penalty Box cage for Tomko's match tonight. Christian refused, so Cornette said if he didn't do it, he would be removed from his title match. Cornette then said he had someone who owed him a favor to help, and Kurt Angle came out and put Christian in the cage.

- Abyss defeated Tomko via disqualification. Samoa Joe came out and brawled with Kurt Angle, who was at ringside. Christian got out of the cage and attacked Abyss from the DQ. The lights went out and Sting appeared. Christian and Tomko left, and Abyss raised Sting's arm, then turned on him and gave him Shock Treatment.

Xplosion Matches

- Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt defeated Austin Starr & Alex Shelley. After the match, Starr & Shelley argued.

- Eric Young & Ron Killings defeated Chris Sabin & Senshi with Killings pinning Sabin with an ax kick.

**SPOILERS** TNA iMPACT! Tapings (2 Weeks)

Please credit Alan J. Wojcik of http://alanwojcik.com if used, thanks.

Welcome to the LIVE SPOILERS from TNA Impact shows to air Thursday January 18th and Wednesday the 24th. David Penzer promised dream matches would end each episode of Impact. Sitting ringside again were Chicago White Sox player AJ Pierzynski and strength coach Dale Torborg. Thanks to Don Harris I had a great vantage point to view the entire show. In attendance was former NWA World heavyweight champion Dory Funk Jr and members of his Funkin Conservatory.

Hour one results:

On screens we saw of Steve Borden beating down Father James Mitchell with anything not nailed to the floor before throwing him into the trunk of a car. Jeremy Borash found Team 3D running down Brother Runt over the fact he screwed his brothers out of winning on Sunday.

NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez) defeated Team 3D (Brothers Ray and Devon)

3D came from the opposite entry way and jumped Lax before the bell. Despite the verbal warning Brother Runt came out to ringside. This caused Ray to leave ringside as LAX beat down Devon with several double team moves. Ray returned minus Runt and got to his corner to cheer Devon on. After several minutes of a beat down Devon tagged out to Ray who cleaned house all over LAX. Just as 3D was going for the Wassup Moody Jack Melendez left the announce table and distracted 3D. Devon left the ring to get Melendez but Moody was able to toss Konnan’s slapjack/sock puppet item into Hernandez who drilled Ray right in the face to retain the titles.

Jeremy Borash found Abyss tossing around items backstage in anger at Steve Borden’s attack.

Back from commercial we walked in on Jacqueline and Gail Kim fighting in a bathroom. JB talked to Christy Hemme about her actions from last night when Kip James came in with his lunch. Kip wanted to make sure Hemme wanted to be treated with respect. Kip said before you go up the ladder of success you had to go down. In ring we were joined by NWA World Heavyweight champion “Captain Charisma” Christian Cage minus Tomko. Cage said he told everyone the biggest star in TNA history would regain his title. But he doesn’t get rest because he would have to face Kurt Angle at Against All Odds. When he called Angle the biggest asshole he ever met, Angle came out to the ring and said Cage needed to watch his words without his life partner around to protect him. Cage liked Angle’s confidence but he could channel his emotions unlike Angle. Cage said to get inside Angle’s head he hired an “anger management coach” to do just that. Angle asked if it was Goldberg or Brock Lesnar but told Cage he pushed the right button and attacked the champion. We saw Steve Borden and Mitchell arrive at the former residence of Abyss where Borden wanted to know Abyss’ secret. Mitchell said before he was Abyss, Chris Marks was there for six years. Mitchell wanted to know why Sting cared about Abyss, calling Abyss a piece of shit before he ever found him. Mitchell called Abyss his meal ticket. Sting said in Abyss’ eyes he saw a person. Sting got some cuffs and locked Mitchell to the fence and said he would get the answer from Abyss.

With Borash looking on, Kurt Angle asked Jim Cornette who the “anger management coach” was. Cornette said Angle needed to get focused on his match with AJ Styles not Cage.

(2) “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm (w/Jacqueline called Ms. Tennessee) defeated Lance Hoyt

Shockingly Hoyt got on the offensive attack at the bell but his moonsault was stopped by Storm’s second. Storm got to his feet and hit a inverted DDT. Storm went for the Bronco Buster but Hoyt moved. Storm’s second distracted Rudy Charles as Torborg got Hoyt’s attention long enough for Pierzynski to hit a chair shot to the back. This set up Storm’s superkick and the pin. Gail Kim came out and jumped Jacqueline. Storm got involved as Torborg and Hoyt fought around ringside. Petey Williams came out to protect Kim but he got hit with what looked like the 8 Second Ride.

Borash talked to Eric Young about shopping for some adult bedroom items when AJ Styles came out of his locker room. Styles said he felt Angle had been coddled his whole career.

(3) Kurt Angle defeated “Phenomenal” AJ Styles.

Styles celebrated after he avoided locking up with Angle. Angle fired in three clotheslines and kicks to Styles’ jaw. Styles raked angle’s eyes but got hit with a belly to belly suplex. As angle laid in more kicks Tomko came down to ringside. Styles missed a corner splash and Angle hit a release German suplex. Angle focused on Tomko and it allowed Styles to recover and attack Angle’s back. Tomko took a ringside seat as Styles locked in a rear chinlock. Angle fought out but got hit with an enziguri for two. Styles hit Angle with a slingshot forearm shot for two as Tomko distracted the referee. Styles got the chair Tomko used but Angle moved and Styles dropped the chair. Angle hit the Olympic Slam on the chair and got the win. Just when Tomko thought Angle left, Angle attacked him from behind. But Angle got jumped by Christian Cage. Rhino came out and ran off Cage and Tomko but everyone ran when Samoa Joe came out with a folding chair of his own. Angle and Joe exchanged words but TNA security broke them up before any violence occurred.

Cage and Tomko came back out to the ringside area. Cage asked if Angle had a clue who the “anger management coach” was after his match with Styles. Steve Borden returned to the Impact Zone and came to the ring, probably to ask Abyss the secret he has been hiding. Abyss joined Sting in the ring and the fun began. Sting wanted to know about Abyss’ past. Sting put the microphone in Abyss’ hand hoping for an answer. But Abyss gave it back to Sting. Sting tried the tough love approach but Abyss wouldn’t talk. Sting said he would go to the prison and find out everything. The fans chanted “Sting’s A Bully” as he left Abyss alone in the ring.

Hour two results:

Samoa Joe came out to the ring to speak to the fans and Kurt Angle. Joe said it seemed like everyone has a burning question, why would Samoa Joe help Kurt Angle? Joe said he wouldn’t save Angle from a car accident or fire. Joe said Angle didn’t win at the PPV Joe ran out of time. Joe said he would be the ring enforcer at Against All Odds. Joe said he wanted Angle to win so they could fight for the NWA World Heavyweight title. Joe was joined by Kurt Angle who also had a microphone. Angle said he thought they were done after the PPV. Angle ran down Joe about who the “anger management coach” was. Angle was fine with Joe consulting Cage. Joe said at the PPV he would be Angle’s best friend. This brought out NWA World Heavyweight champion “Captain Charisma” Christian Cage and Tomko. Cage said Angle didn’t have the puzzle solved. Cage said Joe wasn’t good enough to consult him on anything. Cage said before the show ends there would be a second hint, someone who has been closer then Angle thinks. Angle and Joe had words but once again TNA security broke it up. Cage and Tomko looked on from the safety of the announce table. Tomko said there would be some changes coming, maybe even in Mike Tenay and Don West’s chairs.

“War Machine” Rhino came out to face who he thought was Raven. Serotonin (Frankie “the Future” Kazarian, “Maverick” Matt Bentley and “Hotshot” Johnny Devine) attacked Rhino as Raven came to the ring. When Rhino got rid of Serotonin, Raven hit him with a kendo stick shot and revealed himself to be “Phenomenal” AJ Styles. Styles blasted Rhino with chair shots and cut open Rhino’s forehead before TNA referees and security got him to leave.

(1) In a non title match, Jerry Lynn defeated World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin, Senshi and the Austin Starr

Senshi was so focused on Starr he nearly got pinned by Lynn. Lynn and Senshi continued to trade moves but Sabin tagged himself as Lynn was backed to a corner. Sabin stomped on Senshi and Starr demanded a tag. Starr got Senshi wedged in a corner and dropkicked his neck. Sabin tagged back in and continued the multiple minute attack on Senshi but a move backfired and Lynn tagged in. Lynn got two after a TKO but Starr stopped the pin. This sent Senshi over and he brawled around ringside. Sabin set up the Cradle Shock but Lynn countered out and pinned him sunset flip style.

Sting returned from the public records office to reveal Abyss’ past atrocity to the public. Sting said Abyss needed to die to have life. He couldn’t believe what Abyss did ten years ago. Sting wasn’t sure why he got involved but he believed this was meant to be. He said he was willing to take another beating from Abyss to set him free. He said Abyss put three bullets into the back of someone’s head. That person laid in and survived a coma. Sting said the man in question was Abyss’ dad. Sting wanted to know why this happened. Abyss came out to the ring and jumped Sting. Abyss tossed Sting out of the ring and dragged Sting all around the Impact Zone; throwing him into anything he could to administer punishment on Sting. That included a chokeslam through a folding table and a trip out of the building. But the cameras cut away for what I guess was a commercial break.

(2) NWA World Heavyweight champion “Captain Charisma” Christian Cage (w/Tomko) defeated “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels.

Cage went on the attack but Daniels hit a hip toss and a slam to set up a slingshot elbow drop for two. Daniels went for a second rope move but Cage got in front of Earl Hebner and Tomko shoved Daniels to the floor. As Cage went after Daniels, Samoa Joe came out with a chair of his own to watch the match. The match came back to the ring where Cage kept the offense going in his favor. JB came out and talked to Joe as the match went on. Daniels fought out of a chinlock only to be hit with a dropkick for two. Cage hit Daniels with a Rude Awakening but didn’t go for the pin. A suplex attempt was blocked and Daniels got an inside cradle for two. Joe and Tomko traded stares as Daniels hit Cage with an STO. Daniels hit a leg lariat and a running knee to the chest and got two. Daniels escaped an inverted DDT and hit a floatover moonsault for two. Daniels went for the BME but Cage moved, so Daniels landed on his feet and attacked. Cage got a school boy for two even with his feet on the ropes. Daniels locked Cage in the Cobra Twist as Tomko and Joe argued again. Daniels let the hold go and it backfired as Cage hit a low blow before winning with the Unprettier. Angle came out to have words with Joe once more.

For Xplosion we saw Alex Shelley defeat Jay Lethal in a wrestling clinic. It ended with Shelley avoiding Lethal’s top rope headbutt and getting a chain wrestling style pin. It was joined by Chase Stevens vs. Sonjay Dutt. “the Franchise” Shane Douglas came out towards the end of the match and attacked Stevens. Rudy Charles called for the bell as Douglas tried to strip the “franchised-Naturals gear off Stevens.

The only announced for Against All Odds PPV was NWA World Heavyweight champion “Captain Charisma” Christian Cage (w/Tomko) vs. Kurt Angle. Guesses for PPV matches are: “War Machine” Rhino vs. “Phenomenal” AJ Styles (possibly a cage or other violent weapons involved), Chris Sabin vs. Jerry Lynn, LAX vs. Team 3D, Gail Kim vs. Ms. Jacqueline, Chase Stevens vs. Shane Douglas and Dale Torborg vs. Lance Hoyt

**SPOILERS** TNA iMPACT! Tapings (2 Weeks)
01/29/2007 by Ryan Clark

Welcome to LIVE SPOILERS from TNA Wrestling’s Impact tapings which will air in the weeks before the February 11th Against All Odds PPV. The members of the FXE Training Seminar (www.fxewrestling.com) were joined by NY Yankees star Johnny Damon in the warm soundstage. AJ Pierzynski, Dale Torborg, Scott Steiner, Andy Douglas and Kid Romeo were rumored to be backstage. High above the ring was a large booth; actually it looked like portable restroom.

“The Professor” Mike Tenay was in the ring to film a segment to air on the February 12th TV special with Christian Cage.

Hour one to air this Thursday:

Jeremy Borash ran into Chris Sabin who was using a walker to get around, obviously mocking Jerry Lynn. Also outside Jim Cornette’s office was VKM and Bob Backlund but we went to the ring.

(1) The Austin Starr defeated Jay Lethal vs. Alex Shelley vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. vs. Jerry Lynn.

As the match went on Sabin and his walker came out to ringside. Early on it turned into a tag match with Lynn on an island to himself. You need to watch this since too much went on to keep up. Lynn went for the Cradle Piledriver but Sabin got on the apron and disrobed. He showed off the title belt and a brand new Depend undergarment. With Slick Johnson following the action on the floor, Lynn ended up being pinned by Starr after Sabin entered the ring and leveled Lynn.

Christian Cage and Tomko were talking about catering to the Consultant. Back from the break Mike Tenay and Don West spoke to the home viewers. They were interrupted by Samoa Joe who power walked to the ring. Joe said Tomko was not babysitting him since he was not the consultant. He was the unofficial ringside enforcer for Against All Odds. Cage appeared on screen and said Joe was lying to the fans and he was the consultant. But Cage promised a third hint after calling Joe “Jo-Jo Bear.

Jeremy Borash pushed the new TNA mobile phone service as Bob Backlund and VKM stood outside Cornette’s office. JB talked to “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm and Ms. Tennessee about their PPV match. Eric Young spoke about his friend as Christy Hemme cut off VKM as they went to enter Cornette’s office.

(2) Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks) defeated Petey Williams (w/Gail Kim)

Williams went on the attack early. Roode went to the floor to avoid Williams but got hit with a huricurana. Roode stopped the momentum sending Williams crashing to the floor. Back in the ring Roode used his power advantage with suplexes and slams. Williams went to fight back but he got hit with a power sideslam. Williams recovered and hit two dropkicks. As Kim and Brooks fought around ringside, Williams set for the Canadian Destroyer. But James Storm slid in and hit Williams with a superkick to allow Roode to win. Stay with me because it gets fun from here. Ms. Tennessee came out and joined in the beat down on Williams and Kim. Eric Young hit the ring and attacked Roode, Storm and anyone else he could hit. Brooks left with Young as confusion sat in.

Borash was in Cornette’s office with Kip James and Christy Hemme arguing when Jim Cornette said Hemme would be wrestling a TBD opponent at the PPV. Brother Devon spoke to the interview girl. Devon said Ray was with his family after LAX took out his uncle. He promised to show LAX respect.

(3) Samoa Joe and “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles fought to a no contest

After catching Styles in a corner Joe hit an enziguri and hid behind Andrew Thomas. This allowed Styles to get in a sucker punch and a dropkick for two. Joe fired in some punches but Styles raked the eyes. Joe fought out of a chinlock but got hit with a judo shot to the throat. Joe sidestepped Styles and it sent Styles to the floor. He feigned a knee injury but Rhino came out and tossed Styles back in the ring. But Rhino joined the action and began trading punches with Styles with some assistance from Joe. The referee threw the match out and Joe took a chair onto the ring saying he wasn’t leaving until Cage came out. Instead of Cage we got Kurt Angle who said he was tired of the charade Cage and Joe were playing. Punches got tossed when Angle called Joe a lair. Cage hit the ring and then Angle with a chair. He extended his hand to Joe but got flicked off. As Joe choked out Cage, Styles came out and got Joe’s attention. Joe got decked with the same chair used on Angle. As hour one ended Cage choked out Angle with his ring jacket as Styles choked Joe out with the end of the folding chair.

A prison motif was set up at the bottom of the entry ways complete with fencing, white towers with barbwire and lights on the top and wire wrapped on the ring posts. Mike Tenay and Don West talked to the home viewers about the show and Lockdown being held in St Louis in April. Father James Mitchell came out to the prison setup minus Abyss. He said Sting played with fire last week and got burned. He brought up Sting’s behavior since he lost the World title to Abyss and the revealing of Abyss’ past. As Mitchell spoke the black tarp covered box lowered into the ring. Mitchell said Sting was going to pay for his crimes in one of two ways. One was sending the attack video to the police which would gain Sting 15-20 years. The other was facing Abyss in a prison yard match at the PPV where the loser gets locked in a cell which was under the black tarp. Mitchell wanted an answer and above the ring appeared Sting wearing Abyss’ mask on his face.

Jeremy Borash came out as the prison cell was raised up saying he had a special guest for the fans. He brought out to Hector Guerrero, who is a Tampa resident. He said he was humbled by the fans who chanted Eddie’s name when he walked out. Next into the stage was supposed to be another guest but JB decided to save the surprise for after the second hour main event. The fans were not too happy to hear Lockdown was going elsewhere.

Hour two to air Thursday February 8th:

Sting came out to the ring in the same outfit. Sting said the cell that was lowered represented all the evil in Abyss’ life. When the box got to the ring Father Mitchell was inside (who knew Sting was a magician.) Sting said the PPV was the last time we were all going to see Mitchell. Abyss (wearing a red mask) came out and attacked Sting. Sting leveled Abyss with several chair shots but Mitchell took off his belt and choked Sting.

As the prison set was struck Bob Backlund came out to talk to the fans, actually he kept insulting them.

(1) Abyss (w/Father James Mitchell) defeated Chase Stevens of the Naturals.

Abyss attacked as Stevens was taking off his ring jacket. One Black Hole Slam and it was over. Andy Douglas came out to save his partner but he too was attacked. Shane Douglas came out but TNA security stopped him from attacking the Naturals. Sting appeared on the screens accepting the challenge laid down by Mitchell. Sting said he wanted to face off with Abyss tonight.

On camera Tenay and West talked about the main event for the home viewers as well as the confrontation between Sting and Abyss. They sent it to the phone texting poll results mentioned in hour one. Team 3D came out to the ring and Ray looked like his mind was on other things. The LAX fans in the building voiced their opinion of 3D. Ray said he was nervous about what he was going to talk about. He said god bless Scott “Bam Bam” Bigelow. He mentioned LAX taking out Runt and 3D‘s retaliation on Konnan. Ray said he was half angry redneck and half pissed off Italian as he mentioned LAX’s attack his uncle. 3D wasn’t sure if the chase for the belts was more important then revenge on LAX. 3D decided to choose revenge over the NWA World Tag Team titles. 3D said at the PPV we were going to see a Little Italy Street Fight. But they were interrupted by Konnan and Moody Jack Melendez. Konnan was in a wheelchair and said LAX was his family the retaliation was warranted. Runt came out and tried to talk but Ray told him to shut up and get loaded. As the conversation was going to resume LAX attacked 3D. After LAX incapacitated Devon, Moody Jack handed Homicide a coat hanger. As Homicide wedged Ray’s head near the ring steps Hernandez slammed a folding chair against it several times.

(2) World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin, the Austin Starr and “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm (w/Ms. Tennessee/Jacqueline) defeated “War Machine” Rhino, Jerry Lynn and Senshi.

During the match Raven and Serotonin watched from their perch. Lynn and company worked over Storm until Lynn got distracted by Sabin. This allowed a cheap shot and Storm tagged out to Starr who took over. But Starr missed the rolling elbow and Senshi tagged in, attacking all three opponents. A brawl broke out where Senshi and Starr were left in the ring. Senshi went up for the Warrior’s Way but Storm sent him crashing onto the top rope. Starr hit a brainbuster to win via pinfall.

Mike and Don talked to the home fans about..well I have no idea possibly the main event or the PPV.

(3) Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe defeated “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles and NWA World Heavyweight champion “Captain Charisma” Christian Cage.

Styles and Cage worked well early on, at getting their butts kicked by Joe. That ended on a blind tag as Styles hit a slingshot forearm shot to Joe’s jaw. Styles and Cage had no problem throwing the rules out as they worked over Joe, as Angle watched on ready to get involved. Joe fought out of pins and hit Cage with the standing STO before finally tagged in Angle. Angle hit Cage and Styles with German suplexes and got two after hitting Styles with the Olympic Slam. But as Joe and Cage fought Styles hit the Pele Kick. As Styles went up top Rhino came out and stopped Styles long enough that Angle could hit a top rope Olympic Slam. Angle got the pin as Joe had Cage in the Kokina Clutch. As the celebration went on the Consultant hit the ring and unmasked to reveal SCOTT STEINER, who choked out Angle with a bar of some kind. Cage, Styles and Steiner left Angle, Rhino and Joe lying in the ring beaten down.

Matches taped for Xplosion (no longer seen in Florida):

(1) Robert Roode defeated Chase Stevens of the Naturals. After the match Shane Douglas came out and once again berated Stevens. But Stevens got to his feet and defended himself. TNA security got involved and got Douglas away from Stevens.

(2) Petey Williams defeated Andy Douglas of the Naturals with a triangle choke into a DDT.

In a match not taped for TV, The Riggs Brothers (Johnny and Jason) defeated former WWE stars The Heart Breakers (“the Promise” Antonio Thomas and Romeo Rosselli).

These are LIVE SPOILERS from TNA IMPACT tapings to air in the next two weeks. Tonight we walked into the building and found out the new match to debut at Destination X on March 11th. It is called Elevation X! It is one of the most intimidating structures outside of the Six Sides of Steel. There will be a gauntlet match to determine the new number one contender to the NWA World Heavyweight champion “Captain Charisma” Christian Cage. The show was filmed out of sequence but I have put it in order, I think. Tonight showed why TNA needs a two hour show because all of this gets jumbled together. On the TV show but not seen here is some kind of X Division Idol event with the Naked Oily Guy, Kevin Nash and $o Cal Val.

Hour one results:

(1) NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez w/Konnan and Machete) defeated Shark Boy and Norman Smiley.

The LAX had some fan support as Homicide hit Shark Boy with an Acecrusher and Hernandez choked and then tossed Smiley across the ring. After a top rope move from Homicide it was all over. But Team 3D came on the screens and said they were still gunning for the titles. They said they made a call and got Steven Schiripa of the Sopranos and Spike TV’s Casino Cinema. They said next week LAX would get beat down in a Belting Pot match with people around the ring holding leather straps. Konnan said those guys couldn’t tear a chicken up and they could bring everyone including Emeril Legasse for the match next week.

Mike Tenay and Don West talked to the home viewers. “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner made his way into the Impact Zone. Steiner said a month ago Cage called him and asked how to beat Kurt Angle. Steiner said his contract negotiations were put on hold last September because TNA signed Angle. Steiner said like Angle he had beaten HHH, John Cena and Batista. Steiner said Angle’s keeps calling wanting satisfaction and that brought Angle out of the locker room. Angle said he didn’t come to TNA for the money and would kick Steiner’s as for free. He reminded everyone he came to TNA because it was not where he had worked. Steiner said Angle had what he wanted but Angle said talking was over. The fighting began and Angle Olympic Slam and Ankle Lock spoke volumes. Tomko and Christian Cage hit the ring and with help from Steiner got Angle down until Shark Boy, Jay Lethal, Norman Smiley Samoa Joe, Rhino and the Voodoo Kin Mafia hit the ring. Angle talked to Samoa Joe and said their title agreement was on but with tonight’s gauntlet match it was everyone for themselves.

As the show came back from commercial the scaffold rigging was lowered over the ring. Apparently hour one of Impact on TV will begin here. I think Mike Tenay and Don West talked about it. They cut to the interview girl who was with Christian Cage, Scott Steiner and Tomko talking about the gauntlet. Cage tried to talk Steiner and Tomko into forfeiting the match after tossing everyone out. Steiner and Tomko wanted nothing to do with the idea. Jeremy Borash was talking to Ms. Brooks and Eric Young. Brooks said Young was an idiot for falling for her. Robert Roode interjected demanding Young to remove the “Don’t Fire Eric” t-shirt and do his job tonight in the gauntlet, help Robert Roode win. Bob Backlund walked through as Roode and Brooks left.

(2) In an arm wrestling match, Gail Kim defeated “the Pride of Tennessee” Jacqueline Moore (w/Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm).

I was a little surprised Kim came without any kind of backup. Before the lockup Storm had Moore warm up with some punches. Slick Johnson made Storm exit the ring and we were on the way and Kim won. Storm tossed the table over and Kim attacked Moore. Storm grabbed Kim so Moore could punched her but Petey Williams hit the ring and then the mat as Storm beat him down. Storm looked real cocky until “Wildcat” Chris Harris jumped the rail coming through the crowd. Storm grabbed Moore and hid behind her until he could exit the ring and run for his life.

For the gauntlet Jim Cornette joined Mike Tenay and Don West.

(3) In a Gauntlet match, Samoa Joe became the new number one contender. Two men began and the others entered in two minute intervals. The participants entered in the following order with who tossed them out thanks to Bryan of Universal Studios:

(1) Sting (tossed out by Roode) (2) “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles ( tossed out by Tomko) (3) Rhino (tossed out by Tomko) (4) “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm (tossed out by Angle) (5) “the Future” Chris Sabin (tossed out by Abyss) (6) Kip James (tossed out by Joe) (7) Abyss (tossed out by Joe) (8) Kurt Angle (tossed out by Steiner) (9) Tomko (10) Samoa Joe (11) Robert Roode (tossed out by Sting) (12) BG James (tossed out by Steiner) (13) “Showtime” Eric Young (tossed out by Tomko) (14) “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner (tossed by Joe with help from Tomko.) Joe and Tomko didn’t last too long as Joe hit an enziguri and the Muscle Buster to win. Christian Cage immediately hit the ring but Kurt angle came out to even the side a bit. TNA officials were somehow able to separate everyone.

Hour two results:

Don West brought out Spike TV’s Pros vs. Joes athlete and former NFL Wide Receiver Andre Rison to meet the fans and talk about the show. They were interrupted by Abyss who I don’t think watches TV. Just when it looked like Rison was going to shake hands, Abyss hit him with the Black Hole Slam.

(1) In a (non title) Belting Pot match, Team 3D members Ray and Devon defeated NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez).

If anyone cares some of the LAX whippers were members of the FXE training school. 3D whippers were Bruce Santee, Ron Niemi, Leon Scott, Chasyn Rance, Francisco Ciatso and Sal Rinauro. With the outside action it was a little hard to follow. Devon backdropped Homicide to the floor and the whipping began and Homicide quickly scrambled back into the ring. However he wasn’t safe there as until he tossed Devon out to the LAX side of town where they whipped Devon. Hernandez tagged in and the power went back and forth until Devon tossed Hernandez to the floor. Hernandez got back in and quickly tagged Homicide who cut off Devon from tagging out. However a double clothesline provided enough distance for Devon to tag in Ray as both faction fought on the floor with their straps. 3D hit the 3D but Homicide broke up the pin. With Hernandez and Devon tossed to the floor all bets were off. Even Steven Schiripa got involved helping 3D hit the Wassup on Homicide. They won when they hit Hernandez with another 3D as the fighting continued. After the match Ray went into the crowd and got right in the face of some LAX fans.

The scaffold rigging was lowered and “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles came out to the ring and climbed to the top. He proclaimed himself the most decorated wrestler in TNA, said he invented X Division and also made the Ultimate X match famous. He called the Scaffold “Elevation X” his creation. And he was going to make someone famous for fighting him. Rhino came out to join Styles on the Scaffold but Styles climbed down to safer ground. Rhino said he was tired of Styles running and “Elevation X” was going to be the end of his career.

(2) Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks), “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm (w/the Pride of Tennessee” Jacqueline Moore) and “Showtime” Eric Young defeated Voodoo Kin Mafia (Kip and BG James) and Lance Hoyt.

Young and BG began the match as Young stood in the ring totally confused what to do. Instead he did some dancing with BG and accidentally helped double clothesline Storm. Roode came in and with some help from Storm got BG off his feet. BG was able to tag in Hoyt who cleaned house as BG and Kip tried to get to Moore. Hoyt went up but his top rope move was cut off by Roode who dropped him on the turnbuckle crotch first. After the pin “Wildcat” Chris Harris came from the crowd again and chased Storm to the locker room.

Mike Tenay and Don West talked to the home fans. The ring was set up for Destination X contract signing with Jim Cornette and Mike Tenay in the ring. They brought out “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner and Kurt Angle. Steiner said he didn’t want Angle to make more money then he was contracted to make on a PPV. Angle said his reasons for coming to TNA weren’t selfish like Steiner’s, he came to make TNA bigger not rape it for all its worth. Angle said he was going to make an example of “the money grubbing whiny bitch” Steiner had become. After the contact was signed the table was tossed and Steiner head butted Angle which spilt both of them open. Tomko and Cage hit the ring and Angle with all they had.

(3) In a ladder X match Jerry Lynn defeated Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, the Austin Starr and Senshi.

By winning this Lynn became number one contender to face “the Future” Chris Sabin. This was harder to follow then any other match with the ladders on the floor and at the same time the combatants. Starr and Senshi fought over a ladder by chest chopping each other. Lynn got a ladder but got it kicked in his face the same way Lethal kicked the ladder Starr and Senshi fought over. During the bout Bob Backlund came out to watch. Lynn hit a wheel barrel move dropping Dutt on a ladder. Senshi went for a handspring elbow to the corner but Lynn caught him. But Lynn fell to the mat and Senshi hit the double stomp. All three ladders were set up as everyone fought for the X. Starr stopped Senshi but Lynn stopped both of them, sending them crashing to the ropes below. Lynn retrieved the X to win. After the match Backlund shook hands with Dutt and Lethal before entering to talk to Lynn. Starr got in Backlund’s face once more and got locked in the Crossface Chicken Wing.

Xplosion matches:

(1) World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin defeated Shark Boy with a rollup and both arms draped over the ropes.

(2) Petey Williams, Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt defeated Serotonin members “Maverick” Matt Bentley, Frankie “the Future” Kazarian and “Hotshot” Johnny Devine vs. after Williams hit Kazarian with the Canadian Destroyer and Dutt hit a standing shooting star press. After the loss Raven (wearing angel’s wings) came out to deliver some discipline to Kazarian. After two shots Kazarian in Ravens’s face but he dropped down for one more.

Matches announced for Destination X PPV:

***NWA World Heavyweight champion “Captain Charisma” Christian Cage vs. Samoa Joe

***In an Elevation X match, “War Machine” Rhino vs. the Phenomenal” AJ Styles

***In a Last Rites match, Sting vs. Abyss

***“Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner vs. Kurt Angle

***NWA World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin vs. Jerry Lynn (not 100% sure)

***NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez) vs. Team 3D (Brothers Ray and Devon, also not 100% sure)

The card look's very similar to Against All Odd's. Although I'm looking forward to Angle/Steiner.

**SPOILERS** TNA iMPACT! Tapings (2 Weeks)
02/26/2007 by Ryan Clark

Welcome to the LIVE SPOILERS (which means if you don’t want to know what happens DON’T READ ANY OF THIS) from TNA Impact tapings to air before the Destination X PPV. Sean Waltman and girlfriend known on WWE TV as Ryan Shamrock were in attendance. We were able to watch Jay Lethal do his impression of Randy Savage from Paparazzi Idol and then he was brought into the arena by Jeremy Borash for the fans to enjoy it. $o Cal Val was joined by a blonde girl named Tanya as ring attendant. Team Macktion were members of the TNA Security. Best wishes go out to David Young, A1and “Prime Time” Elix Skipper who were released last week.

Hour one results:

Scott Steiner attacked by Kurt Angle. TNA Security had to break it up. Jeremy Borash talked to Tomko and Christian Cage about Tomko’s match with Samoa Joe. Cage said he wanted Tomko to take care of Joe before Destination X. Tomko wanted to know how did beating Joe benefit him? Cage said if he got the job done Tomko would get a shot at the title. After Tomko walked away Cage called him selfish.

Elevation X was lowered to the arena floor for the opening as Mike Tenay and Don West talked to the home audience. Leticia walked into Jim Cornette’s office as he yelled at Kurt Angle for attacking Scott Steiner in a backstage hallway.

(1) Jerry Lynn, Senshi and Jay Lethal defeated World X Division champion Chris Sabin, the Austin Starr and Alex Shelley.

As Shelley came to ringside he handed Tenay a DVD slipcase, possibly his latest film. Kevin Nash and Sonjay Dutt came to the ring asking for Lethal do become Randy Savage. When he did his opponents attacked and we were on the way. Lynn, Lethal and Senshi dumped their opponents to the floor and followed them via planchas. Bob Backlund came out and talked to Tenay and West as Shelley got Lethal back in the ring where the triple teamwork began and went on for several minutes. Lethal survived and used Sabin to hit Shelley with a senton bomb for he tagged out to Senshi who unleashed his arsenal of kicks but Sabin hit the Cradle Shock. Shelley hit Lynn with Sliced Bread #2 but his attempt on Lethal was countered. So Starr hit Lethal with a brainbuster but Backlund stopped a cover as he argued once again with Starr. Senshi used the distraction to get a rollup with a bridge for a pinfall win.

Jeremy Borash found Abyss looking at a photo of Father James Mitchell but ran for his life when Abyss noticed the camera. He grabbed a production person and stuffed him into a trash can.

(2) “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner defeated Chase Stevens of the Naturals.

Stevens was in the ring as Kurt Angle attacked Steiner from behind. Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Jerry Lynn attempted to hold them apart as Jim Cornette tried to reason with Angle. Angle left and Stevens was quickly beat by a top rope belly to belly suplex. Steiner grabbed the house mic and said last time he was in a ring with Angle he left him in a pool of his own blood. Steiner said Angle’s wife told he was half the man he used to be. This brought Angle back out to ringside with all of the TNA security staff in hot pursuit. Cornette asked Angle if he lost his mind. Angle answered by trying to put the Ankle Lock on Cornette. Cornette told Angle he was his only friend in TNA plus he knew Angle meant box office. Cornette told Angle he was fed up and to hit the exit. Big shock the fans didn’t like that decision.

Tenay and West talked to the home fans about what went down. Don Harris was backstage trying to evict Kurt Angle from the property. Angle responded with some colorful language. They threw it to a video package about “Wildcat” Chris Harris (new interview with Harris on http://alanwojcik.com)

Alex Shelley came into the Impact Zone and the fans welcomed him properly. He ran down his directorial CV to the fans as they booed. We watched “Massacre in New York.” It was Homicide of LAX going to the training facility Devon of Team 3D used. He attacked Devon’s former trainer Johnny Rodz. He was joined by Hernandez who dropped exercise equipment onto Rodz. Homicide ended with a shout out to J-Train. Back in the ring Shelley thanked LAX for their help, claming he was Super Calo in Arena Mexico and WCW. Just as Shelley was going to bring out LAX Brother Ray came out. Shelley began to kiss major butt as Ray entered the ring. Ray said that footage made him sick to his stomach. The LAX fans had a photo of pig with Ray’s face on it. Ray wanted to know why Shelley shot the footage. This brought out Kevin Nash who looked like he was going to defend Shelley. With the distraction as cover the LAX hit the ring and then Brother Ray. Konnan watched from the rampway as he ordered LAX to get a table. Hernandez got the table and then threw Ray through it.

Jeremy Borash pubbed the texting service TNA uses on cell phones and then he talked to Samoa Joe about Destination X and tonight’s match with Tomko. As the interview ended JB found Abyss choking out TNA photographer Lee South. Joe got in Abyss’ face and said he needed to stand up to Mitchell one and for all.

(3) Tomko defeated Number one contender Samoa Joe.

Tomko attacked before the bell with punches and kicks. A corner clothesline shook Joe enough to wake him up. They traded boots the face but Joe sent Tomko to the floor and followed with a between the ropes forearm dive. Tomko used some leverage and shoved Joe into a ringpost shoulder first. Tomko took Joe back to the ring and a chinlock which led to a spinebuster for two. Tomko went back to the mat with a neckvise like move. Joe fought to his feet and hit a second rope knee to Tomko’s face for two. Joe hit Tomko with right hand punches and a powerslam for two. Joe set for the Muscle Buster but Tomko grabbed Earl Hebner. With Hebner’s back to the ring, Christian Cage slid in and hit Joe with a chair shot to the back and head. Tomko got off the top and hit a lariat to win. Tomko and Cage tried to double team Joe but it backfired as Joe fought back. As Joe had Cage in the Kokina clutch, Scott Steiner hit the ring to uneven the odds. After Cage hit Joe with the Unprettier a newly attired Abyss cleared the ring. I guess Abyss didn’t like what Joe said earlier because he hit him with the Black Hole Slam.

Hour two results:

The Elevation X was lowered once more and stayed down for the majority of the show.

(1) Voodoo Kin Mafia (Kip and BG James) and Lance Hoyt defeated Serotonin members Frankie “the Future” Kazarian, “Maverick” Matt Bentley and “Hotshot” Johnny Devine.

As the match went on in the ring Devine leveled BG with a kendo stick shot to the skull. Serotonin got Kip James isolated and took him off his feet. Kip hit Kazarian with an Acecrusher and tagged out to Hoyt who pinned Devine. As usual after the match Raven came to the ring and delivered some discipline to his brotherhood. Once again Kazarian got in Raven’s face but still knelt down for the shots to the back.

Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe came out to the ring. Angle said Destination X maybe days away but it felt like an eternity to get to. Angle said Steiner was dead meat and he said tonight he and Joe were on the same page. Angle said at the PPV he was going to the biggest Samoa Joe fan. Angle asked for Christian Cage and Scott Steiner to come to the ring. His request was sort of answered as Cage, Steiner and Tomko came on the rampway. Cage said he was in a family unit, the Christian Coalition and they did things together. He wanted angle and Joe to find a partner for a six man match later tonight. Angle said he had someone in mind, someone crazy. The talking ended and the fighting ensued on the rampway.

Mike Tenay entered the ring for a presentation of some kind. He was joined by $o Cal Val, Jeremy Borash and Leticia. He introduced the legendary Hector Guerrero who has joined the TNA office and the Spanish broadcasting team. The fans immediately began an EDDIE chant. Hector said he was so gracious to be part of the TNA family. He spoke Spanish to the home viewers and I understood none of it. Tenay said the award was part of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation apparently set up by TNA. But the presentation was stopped as Abyss crashed the party. $o Cal Val very smartly handed off the award to Abyss who promptly hit her with the Black Hole Slam.

(2) Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks), “Showtime” Eric Young and “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm (w/Jacqueline Moore) defeated Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams and “Macho Man” Jay Lethal.

Roode didn’t like Lethal’s impression and jumped him from behind. Roode tagged in Young and Lethal shook his hand, sort of. Roode entered and slapped the spit out of Young’s mouth. Storm tagged in and with some help from Roode, took over on Williams who was also tagged in. Williams fought off defeat and Roode several times before tagging out to Dutt as Roode tagged Storm. Things sped up as Williams and Lethal made the contest a high flying one as they hit moves to the floor. Gail Kim hit the ringside area and then Moore with punches. As that went on Dutt was pinned by Storm.

Mike Tenay and Don West ran down the Destination X card before going to a video package on the Last Rites match.

(3) Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe and their partner “War Machine” Rhino fought “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner, Tomko and NWA World Heavyweight champion “the Instant Classic” Christian Cage to a no contest

I guess you could call Rhino crazy, especially with the match he is going into at the PPV. This one went all over the place as Rhino and Tomko fought into the fans while Angle and Cage squared off in the ring. Cage got dumped to the floor and Joe punched him out. Rhino had Tomko set for the GORE but AJ Styles hit the ring. Rhino chased him out of the ring and up onto the Elevation X. Rhino kept in pursuit and chased Styles off. But Rhino climbed down to the side of the ring where Cage and Tomko were waiting. They slammed Rhino head first into the ring stairs and then into the ring where Steiner was waiting. Cage and Coalition took turns beating down Rhino in front of and behind Rudy Charles’ back. Rhino survived the beating and tagged out to Angle who hit everyone with a German Suplex. Actually he hit Tomko with three and Cage with a belly to belly suplex which allowed Joe to clothesline Cage to the floor. Rhino hit Tomko with the GORE, Cage hit Rhino with the Unprettier, Joe hit Cage with a Muscle Buster and Angle locked Steiner in the Ankle Lock. But before a submission Abyss hit the ring and then everyone with moves. The lights went down and came up to find Sting in the ring attacking Abyss. Things went crazy as all eight men fought in and around the ring.

Matches to air on syndicated TNA Xplosion:

(1) In a match that should have been on Impact, Senshi defeated Alex Shelley with a rollup into a bridge.

(2) The Austin Starr defeated Petey Williams when he countered out of the Canadian Destroyer into a double leg pin as his feet were resting on the ropes.

Matches announced for Destination X PPV:

***NWA World Heavyweight champion “the Instant Classic” Christian Cage (w/Tomko) vs. Samoa Joe

***In an Elevation X match, “War Machine” Rhino vs. the Phenomenal” AJ Styles (scaffold rules)

***In a Last Rites match, Sting vs. Abyss (winner must strap opponent to a bed of some kind)

***“Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner vs. Kurt Angle

***NWA World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin vs. Jerry Lynn

***In a “Ghetto Brawl”, NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez w/Konnan) vs. Team 3D (Brothers Ray and Devon)

***Mr. Bob Backlund vs. the Austin Starr (not 100% sure)

I like the sound of that 6 Man tag match, could be good to watch. Not to sure on what I think of the upcoming 'Elevation X' match, it just depends if AJ Performs. I'm a bit worried that Rhino may look awkward and out of place though...

Alan J. Wojcik of http://alanwojcik.com sent these:

These are LIVE SPOILERS from TNA’s Spike TV tapings on the road to the Lockdown PPV to be held in St. Louis, Missouri. TNA Management representative Jim Cornette promises a major announcement about Lockdown and the future of TNA during hour one as the Six Sides of Steel was waiting for us as we walked into the Impact Zone. Before we entered the Impact Zone, Bill Banks and Brother Runt were walking through the lines outside interviewing fans and taking photos with children. For people who like her, we were denied a $o Cal Val appearance on Impact hour number one. No backstage interviews were shown during the first hour however Kahagas blessed us with his presence. The same cannot be said for Ricky Romeo who injured his knee in the LAX/3D brawl last night.

Hour one results:

Jim Cornette opened the show inside the Six Sides of Steel to announce the main event for Lockdown, a 10 man match in Lethal Lockdown rules. He brought out the team captains: NWA World Heavyweight champion “the Instant Classic” Christian Cage and Kurt Angle. Cornette said they would be able to choose their 4 men between now and the PPV. Cage tried to protest Cornette’s ruling but the TNA theme music played drowning him out.

“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles came into the Impact Zone. He had a brace on his neck and left ankle and used a crutch to get down to the ring. He asked the fans and Rhino was the way he looked what he wanted. He said doctors told him his body would never be the same. Styles claimed he wouldn’t have wished this result for Rhino. When Styles told the fans he was unable to wrestle tonight the fans chanted “Thank You Rhino.” Styles wanted Rhino to come to the ring and call Styles’ wife telling him what happened. Styles’ wish was answered and “the War Machine” Rhino came to the ring. Rhino said what made Styles think he hadn’t already called or did he want to be knocked out on more time. Styles said he understood Rhino was trying to help him and he wanted the war to be over. Rhino asked the fans what they wanted and of course the blood thirsty fans said they wanted more. Styles said he understood the fight between Rhino and Christian Cage. Rhino said it was over and shook hands with Styles. Styles went to deck the crutch but Rhino caught it. Too bad he didn’t catch Styles’ boot that kicked Rhino’s crotch into the cage. Styles attacked Rhino but Rhino fought back sending Styles into the cage face first. Just when Rhino got control, Christian Cage hit the ring and then Rhino with a crutch to the neck. Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe hit the ring and Styles hit the bricks. Cage knew what was going to happen so he scaled the fencing and got out.

The TNA crew took the cage down in what had to be record time and Jeremy Borash came out with Kevin Nash and his new friend Sonjay Dutt. Nash said Dutt was six weeks of the gas; take that for what you will. It looked like we were going to get “Macho Man” Jay Lethal. Nash and Borash said they would donate $1,000 dollars each to Coaches vs Cancer if Lethal came out. Lethal refused to come out to the ring and his friends. Nash said he produced a song for him to come to the ring with. Lethal finally came out and seemed confused by the new music which seemed “Macho Man” inspired.

(1) In a three way match, Jay Lethal defeated Jerry Lynn and Kaz of Serotonin (Frankie “the Future” Kazarian)

Kaz jumped Lethal but Lynn rolled him up for two. Just when it looked like Lethal and Lynn were going to work together Lynn got decked by Lethal. Both men took turns trying to beat up Kaz and Lynn got two after a suplex like move. Kaz rolled Lynn up for two but Lethal tried to attack so Kaz hit him with a Northern Lights suplex as he had Lynn pinned. Lethal missed an enziguri and Lynn rolled him up for two. With Lynn down Lethal hit Kaz with a move and got the pin. Sorry I am not sure the name of the move. I am sure that after the match “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels charged the ring and laid all three men out with a baseball bat.

(2) Alex Shelley and NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez w/Konnan & Machete) defeated Team 3D (Brothers Ray, Devon and Runt w/ Johnny Rodz).

Being from Detroit, Shelley embraced his thug style and dressed accordingly. Konnan joined Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary during this match. Shelley was going to begin against Devon but smartly tagged in Hernandez. But Devon was ready to fight and hit a Thesz press to throw some right hand punches. Ray tagged but ducked too early for an attempted backdrop and Hernandez kicked him in the shoulder. LAX went to work on a wrapped up left elbow and Ray could only scream in pain. Homicide got too close and was hit with a sidewalk slam. That allowed Runt to tag in and fair well but the fighting went to the floor where Shelley hit Runt with a DVD onto the ring apron. Homicide hit Runt with a chair and then sent him back him back to the ring where Hernandez hit the choke into a throw that sent Runt clear across the ring. All three men hit top rope splashes on Runt but Devon broke up the pin attempt. An LAX double team move backfired and Runt tagged out to Devon who cleared the ring of LAX members. All hell broke out once more and 3D hit Shelley with the Wassup package shot. With LAX out on the floor 3D called for the tables as Machete distracted the referee. 3D hit Shelley with the 3D but Rudy Charles was too busy with Machete and Rodz. As Devon called for the referee to get in the ring, Hernandez slid in from behind and rolled up Devon for the pin. Konnan said LAX had beaten 3D in every match TNA put them in next they were going to take 3D’s legacy. TNA officials had to come out to assist Shelley to the locker room after taking the 3D through the table.

NWA World Heavyweight champion “the Instant Classic” Christian Cage and “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles made their way into the Impact Zone. Cage introduced the third member of his team, Abyss. This was weird since Styles and Cage were Abyss’ opponents at the previous two Lockdown PPV’s. I guess Sting felt the same way as he came down to the ringside area. Sting said Abyss was his own team and Abyss was tired of being led around. Sting said the future was there for Abyss’ taking. Cage and Sting began a power struggle over Abyss when Jim Cornette came out. Cornette said next week Styles and Cage would face Sting and Abyss. Sting said why wait let’s do it right now and charged the ring but Styles and Cage bailed.

Hour two results:

(1) “War Machine” Rhino, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle defeated Serotonin members Kaz, Havok and Martyr (Frankie “the Future” Kazarian, “Hotshot” Johnny Devine and “Maverick” Matt Bentley.)

Martyr lost blonde coloring in his hair but kept the face paint. Martyr began against Rhino and didn’t fair well. Angle tagged in and so did Kaz who got hit with a German suplex. Joe tagged in and Kaz tagged in Havok who got hit with a powerslam and several right hand punches. All three members of Serotonin got in to fight but it was Martyr who fell to the Muscle Buster.

Team 3D made their way to the ring carrying some luggage. They wasted no time in asking LAX to come to the ring and their request was granted. Ray was wearing a shirt in tribute to Road Warrior Hawk AKA Mike Hegstrand. Ray admitted LAX had their number in recent matches and played as dirty as 3D would have ten years ago. Ray talked about LAX wanting 3D’s legacy which isn’t taken its earned. 3D was going to give them a chance to earn the legacy. In the luggage were the WWE World Tag Team titles, the WCW World Tag team titles and the ECW World Tag Team titles. At Lockdown 3D said they were all in legacy vs. tag team titles. Before 3D left the ring Konnan was rolled out by Machete. Konnan used crutches to enter the ring and face 3D. Konnan said the titles in the ring meant nothing and called his team the TNA Tag Team champions. Konnan wanted an electrified cage match for Lockdown; I think 3D accepted the offer.

(2) The Austin Starr defeated “Showtime” Eric Young.

The fans were behind Young even as Starr attacked at the bell. Starr hit Young with a corner whip and a dropkick to the face followed by dropping young on the top rope for a back rake. Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks made their way out to watch as Starr missed his elbow drop. Young got on fire as he tossed Starr from one side of the ring to the other. As Brooks got Andrew Thomas’ attention Roode hit Young in the back and set up Starr who won with the brainbuster. After the bell Petey Williams came and got in the face of his former Team Canada partner. Young and Williams were going to shake hands when Roode pulled Young to the floor and then the locker room.

(3) Jerry Lynn and “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm (w/ “the Pride of Tennessee” Jacqueline Moore) was ruled a no contest.

Storm and Moore came out for the match but Lynn didn’t come out when his music played. A referee came out and said Jerry Lynn was apparently injured. Storm got the mic saying his two favorite things were drinking beer and beating people up. He was out of beer so he wanted someone to fight him and his request was answered by “Wildcat” Chris Harris. But Gail Kim came out and stopped Harris from getting in the ring. Moore taunted Kim who jumped in and fought Moore as Harris chased Storm to the locker room.

(4) NWA World Heavyweight champion “the Instant Classic” Christian Cage and “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles defeated Abyss and Sting.

Dave Penzer called this the “Hell Freezes Over” match and I am sure we all agreed with that sentiment. The team of Sting and Abyss never really got on track as Styles and Cage kept Sting isolated from his partner for several minutes. Cage missed a top rope headbutt and this allowed Sting the time needed to tag Abyss as Styles also tagged in. Abyss was in full control of the match as he hit Styles with Shock Treatment but Cage stopped the pin. Styles saved Cage from Shock Treatment but they missed the blind tag and Sting hit a top rope bodyblock on both men. Father James Mitchell came down to ringside with a woman who I am guessing is the mother of Abyss. This left Abyss confused and he ended up following Mitchell and Mom down the rampway. Styles and Cage kept double teaming Sting but all it did was get sting fired up as he hit both men with the Stinger Splash. Sting locked Styles in the Scorpion Death Lock but Cage got the referee’s attention and “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner came out. Steiner leveled Sting with his trusty pipe and placed Styles on top of Sting for the pinfall.

Xplosion matches taped:

(1) “Macho Man” Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt defeated World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley when Lethal hit Shelley wit ha top rope elbow drop like you know who used to do.

(2) The Austin Starr and Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks) defeated Senshi and Lance Hoyt when Ms. Brooks got the referee’s attention and Starr hit Hoyt in his package as he was getting ready to hit Roode with a chokeslam. Roode hit Hoyt with a DDT to win.

TNA will be taping Impact will be taping three episodes on March 26th before heading on the road.

(Spoilers) TNA iMPACT! Tapings (3 Weeks)
03/26/2007 by Ryan Clark

Thanks to Alan Wojcik for these results:

Welcome to three hours of LIVE SPOILERS from TNA Wrestling in Orlando, FL. By the end of this three show taping we should have a good idea of the Lockdown PPV matches heading to St. Louis on April 15th. Josh Rich, Mike WG, FL Indy wrestler Kahagas, Sean Waltman and legendary Japanese referee and New Japan official Tiger Hattori were in attendance. Despite being a three show taping things moved pretty well as Dave Penzer and Jeremy Borash kept things busy with raffles and talking about the show. No backstage footage was shown so you have to tune in to find out what was filmed including some sort of sit down between Father James Mitchell and Sting.

Hour one results:

During the entire first hour Bob Backlund worked out by Mike Tenay and Don West’s location doing stairs on a block placed in front of him. I think all of us were tired for him as he did it during commercials and the cage teardown.

(1) In a preview of the Lockdown Xscape match, Jerry Lynn defeated Alex Shelley, Sonjay Dutt, the Austin Starr, Petey Williams and Shark Boy.
Why write about it, because there was too much going on. So here’s how the order of elimination went:
**Alex Shelley was eliminated by Shark Boy via pinfall.
**Sonjay Dutt eliminated by Jerry Lynn and the Cradle Piledriver.
** Shark Boy was eliminated by the Austin Starr and the Brainbuster.
** the Austin Starr was eliminated by Petey Williams and the Canadian Destroyer.
Lynn won the match by hitting the floor first but he got leveled by “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels and a baseball bat.

NWA World Heavyweight champion “the Instant Classic” Christian Cage, “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles and “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner made their way to the ring. They were booed as Cage officially made Steiner the third man for his Lethal Lockdown team. Steiner reminded Cage about the title shot he deserved. He also brought out Abyss as the fourth member of Team Cage. Father James Mitchell was with Abyss but not Mom. Styles asked Cage who the fifth member of the team was; Cage said it was going to be a surprise for later. Cage introduced Tomko as the final member of the Team but Tomko didn’t come to the ring when his music played. Finally Tomko came out carrying a house mic. Cage went to hug Tomko but he was stopped in his tracks as Tomko said he didn’t play second fiddle to anyone and wanted his promised title shot. Tomko said before he joins any team he wanted his title shot TONIGHT. Before Cage could finish his next sentence Kurt Angle, Rhino and Samoa Joe came out to the rampway. Angle said to Tomko that Cage has been a lying asshole about his title shot. Angle said he would promise a shot at Cage if he joined Team Angle. Tomko said he didn’t know who to trust and that brought Jim Cornette to the ringside area. Cornette said there would be match to determine what team Tomko would be part of at Lockdown. Cage tried to talk his way out of it but Tomko said Cornette had a deal.

Mike Tenay and Don West talked to the home fans.

(2) “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm (w/“the Pride of Tennessee” Jacqueline Moore) defeated “Showtime” Eric Young.
Young came out minus the Robert Roode Inc. clan for this encounter and faired well with dropkicks. That ended when Storm backed him to a corner and laid in some punches. The assault continued as Storm used the ropes to blind Young and hit a running boot to the face from the floor onto the ring apron. Young recovered with a discus clothesline and a belly to belly suplex for two. Young blocked the superkick and hit a back suplex but Moore stopped a top rope move and sent Young falling into the ring and right into Storm’s superkick. As soon as the bell rang “Wildcat” Chris Harris and Gail Kim hit the ring fighting their way to the locker room. Roode and Ms. Brooks came out and lambasted Young for the loss telling Young he had no real friends. Petey Williams proved that wrong when he hit the ring to attack Roode.

Tenay and West talked to the home crowd once more before out main event.

(3) In a match to win Tomko’s services at Lockdown, Team Angle’s Kurt Angle defeated Team Cage’s Abyss (w/Father James Mitchell).
Tomko sat at ringside during this interesting matchup. Angle got a single leg takedown and went after the left knee of Abyss. Abyss tried to get away but Angle clipped him only to be leveled by Abyss. Angle quickly recovered and got the Ankle Lock but Abyss got to the ropes as Christisn Cage came out to give a pep talk. Angle chased Cage around the ring but forgot Abyss’ location and got a boot right in his face. Abyss slammed Angle’s face into both sets of ringsteps before entering the ring once again where he hit a Davey Boy Smith style suplex. Angle escaped a neckvise and traded forearm shots with Abyss before hitting a German suplex. Abyss escaped the Olympic Slam and went for Shock Treatment but Angle countered into an Ankle Lock but Abyss refused to submit even as Earl Hebner had Angle shoved into him. Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam as Rudy Charles slid in for a two count. Abyss wasted time before his attempted chokeslam and it cost him the match as Angle won with a rolling pin. Tomko walked into the ring and decked Angle with the contract. Rhino came out to fight along with AJ Styles and then Samoa Joe. Scott Steiner came from the side of the broadcast table. In the end Team Cage stood tall over the three members of Team Angle.

Hour two results:

In the ring was stuff you would find out on a road construction site for an 8 Mile Street Fight.

(1) In an 8 Mile Street Fight, “War Machine” Rhino defeated Tomko.
This match began in the backstage area with tons of weapons lining the walls of the Impact Zone. They fought from one side of the building to the other and into the fans who avoided the action as best they could. After the fight in the fans the action came back to ringside where Tomko slammed Rhino’s head into the ringsteps. Rhino recovered and went under the ring for a garbage can, chairs, a table and a traffic cone. The fight finally entered the ring where Tomko hit Rhino with a trash can lid and a large traffic barrel. Rhino returned fire with a chair shot to Tomko’s back and a traffic cone to the head. Rhino grabbed a trash can but Tomko kicked into Rhino’s face. Tomko cleared the ring of the DOT items and went back to work on Rhino’s back with a trash can. Rhino grabbed the table and set it up in a corner but Tomko fought even as Rhino got a waistlock and drove Tomko into the table. Abyss came out and went to hit Rhino with a chair but missed and decked Tomko who got hit with a GORE!! After the bell Abyss got back in the ring but Kurt Angle came out with Samoa Joe to beat down Abyss. Christian Cage, Scott Steiner and AJ Styles came out to once again have the 5 on 3 advantage. To sum things up “the War Machine” won the battle but not the war.

During the break Rudy Charles handed off a book to speed read as the climbing continued.

(2) In a non-title match, Voodoo Kin Mafia (Kip and BG James w/Lance Hoyt) defeated NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez w/Konnan & Machete) via DQ.
Before the VKM got to the ring Christy Hemme had words with them but was once again was carried off by Hoyt. The LAX fans chanted D-X rejects as Hernandez beat down BG. Homicide tagged in and hit a top rope elbow for two. LAX kept making tags wearing out BG as Kip could only watch. BG finally got a boot into Hernandez’s face and tagged out to Kip who took on the LAX by himself. VKM got rid of Homicide and went for the One and Only but other LAX members hit the ring causing a DQ. Team 3D came out to even the sides and accepted the Lockdown electrified cage match. Ray said after Lockdown 3D would have the belts and LAX would be back in Tijuana selling their mom’s for cab fare.

(3) In a submission match, the Austin Starr defeated Senshi.
This was interesting as Backlund stopped reading to watch the match and both men had to remember not to go for a pin. Things left the ring as Starr hit a between the ropes dive into Senshi’s chest. The action came back as Starr went for the Chicken Wing but couldn’t get it locked; instead he hit his rolling elbow drop. Starr locked in what looked like chinlock with a leglace. Starr escaped a Dragon Sleeper but his superplex was blocked but Senshi missed Warrior’s Way. Starr locked in a half crab and while Senshi refused to submit Backlund left his steps and like Arnold Skaaland in December 1983, threw in the towel for Senshi.

TNA management’s Jim Cornette called a full locker room town meeting in the Impact Zone. It seemed this was a clarification of the Lockdown PPV which is listed at the completion of this report. Cornette actually accused Cage of pulling a Max Bialystock. He declared that whoever wins the pinfall in the Lethal Lockdown match gets the shot at the NWA World Heavyweight title at Sacrifice on May 13th. As the meeting ended the lights went out and came up to find Sting in the ring attacking Team Cage.

Hour three results:

Team Angle came out into the ring to talk. They were sporting Lockdown events shirts (probably available at www.tnawrestling.com ) Sting said he was sorry he didn’t return Kurt Angle’s phone calls and he truly loved TNA Wrestling. Sting wanted Angle to reveal the final member but he refused. Samoa Joe said he was losing faith in Angle about who the fifth person was. Angle said by the end of the hour we would all know who number five is (hopefully not Johnny 5 of Short Circuit fame.)

Between this and the opening match Borash brought out Kevin Nash who said he had a surprise, he was wearing a cup. He was actually out to introduce his protégé “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal.

(1) In a non-title match, “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal (w/his hair out of the braids and was in full “Macho Man” regalia) defeated World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin.
Sabin was not impressed by the new look of Lethal. As Sabin laid in some offense Lethal fired back with a rope hot shot and a top rope double ax handle. A second trip up top was stopped by Sabin with a dropkick to the chest for a two count. Sabin got Lethal on the mat and hit a Garvin Stomp like move with a senton for two. Lethal escaped a chinlock but Sabin grabbed the hair and backed Lethal to a corner. Lethal fired back with right hand punches and a short arm elbow before a clothesline for two. Not to be out done Sabin hit a tornado DDT for two. Sabin got in a move but Lethal hit a chain of moves before hitting the top rope elbow and pinning Sabin.

Mike Tenay and Don West ran down the full Lockdown card for the home crowd.

(2) Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks) and “Pride of Tennessee” Jacqueline Moore defeated Petey Williams and Gail Kim.
Kim didn’t wait for the bell as she attacked Moore on the ring apron while Roode and Williams fought on the floor. Roode got rid of Williams for a moment and hit Kim with a back suplex. Williams returned to the ring to attack Roode with all he had as Kim rolled to the floor to recover. Referee Andrew Thomas looked like he was trying to get Kim to head to the locker room but she charged the ring and Moore. Williams was going for the Canadian Destroyer when James Storm hit the ring to distract Williams. It worked as Williams was rolled up for the pin by Roode. Chris Harris came out to attack Moore and Storm. Eric young came out with a chair which sent Storm and Moore running for the hills. Just when it looked like Roode was next he grabbed the house mic and ordered Young to put the chair down.

The NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez w/Konnan on crutches) came out to the ring dragging Brother Runt who had his mouth taped up. By mistake Konnan used the WWE name for 3D as he said LAX was looking for them tonight. They decided to make an example of Brother Runt for all the things the US government has done to Latin people. He decided to use a taser gun on Runt to show what the electrified cage was going to do to a human body. But before that happened Team 3D came out and asked LAX to let Runt go. LAX decided to shoot first and ask questions later, sending many volts into Runt’s body. The TNA medical trainer had to come out and remove the taser tips out of Runt’s body before moving him to the back for what might be additional treatment.

(3) Team Angle’s Samoa Joe defeated Team Cage’s “Phenomenal” AJ Styles
By winning this Team Angle has the numbers advantage until the Lethal Lockdown cage is lowered on top. Styles new cockiness was on full display during this match even as Joe attacked the legs of the former Triple Crown winner. Just when it looked like Styles was going to hit a dropkick Joe sidestepped and Styles hit canvas. Styles went for a suplex but couldn’t get Joe up; instead Joe hit a face front suplex. Styles fought back and knocked Joe down with a flying forearm to the jaw. Somehow Styles was able to slam Joe and hit a knee drop for two. Styles kept the offense going with shoulder blocks in a corner as Joe fought out but Styles hit a dropkick to Joe’s left knee. Styles followed with a flying forearm into a corner but Joe fought back with punches and elbows and his standing STO in a corner. Joe hit Styles with a series of forearm smashes and a powerslam for two. Styles avoided a corner move and hit a floatover inverted DDT for two. Joe went for a second rope kick but Styles pulled Andrew Thomas in front and it knocked him down. Joe hit a running knee to the corner but Styles escaped the Muscle Buster into a rollup but Joe locked in the Kokina Clutch. The other team members fought around ringside as JEFF JARRETT came out and leveled Styles with a guitar shot heard around the Impact Zone. All the members of Team Angle shook Jarrett’s except for Joe who took some time and Sting who took even longer to trust Jarrett after their storied history. Hell as truly frozen over as the Impact Zone fans cheered Jarrett who has been public enemy number one with the fans since June of 2004 when Impact debuted on Fox Sports Net.

Matches filmed for syndicated TNA Xplosion:

(1) World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin defeated Sonjay Dutt

(2) Lance Hoyt defeated Alex Shelley.

(3) Serotonin members Havok and Martyr (AKA “Hotshot” Johnny Devine, “Maverick” Matt Bentley w/Kaz AKA Frankie “the future Kazarian) defeated The Naturals (Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas).

Matches announced for TNA Lockdown PPV:
***In a Lethal Lockdown match where whoever wins the pinfall faces the NWA World Heavyweight champion on 5/13, NWA World Heavyweight champion “the Instant Classic” Christian Cage, “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner, Abyss (w/Father James Mitchell) and Tomko vs. Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, War Machine” Rhino, Sting and “King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett.
*** In an electrified cage match, NWA World Tag Team champions Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez w/Konnan & Machete) vs. Team 3D (Ray and Devon)
***Senshi vs. the Austin Starr with Bob Backlund as the referee
***Jerry Lynn vs. “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels
***Gail Kim vs. “Pride of Tennessee” Jacqueline Moore
***In an Xscape match, World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Jay Lethal vs. Alex Shelley vs shark Boy
***Petey Williams vs. Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks and “Showtime” Eric Young)
*** In a blindfold match, “Wildcat” Chris Harris (w/Gail Kim) vs. “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm (w/“the Pride of Tennessee” Jacqueline Moore)

Lockdown is not looking like a good card. A blindfold steel cage match? Pointless.

Well to me I find the whole of Lockdown pointless, dont get me wrong I realy like a good cage match, but every match on the card inside a cage?? Pointless

And as Jake said a blindfold match ina Cage?? Whats Up With that... instead of the Team Angle vs Team Cage I would of rather seen Joe vs Cage vs Angle or something like that..

Just had a quick flick... can someone help me wioth this.. Angle faced Abyss to decide which team Tomko was on.. Angle won.. but Tomko is on Cage's teaam.. wtf?? I know Tomko being with Cage makes sense.. but why have a match for his services when u dont even follow the match result??

Jason Christopher sent along the following:

Hour One:

Jeff Jarrett comes out, followed by Kurt Angle. Angle is mad at Jarrett for letting Sting win. Sting's comes out, setting up Sting vs. Kurt Angle for next week with Sting's title match on the line.

Gail Kim is brawling with Jacqueline in the crowd.

Robert Roode defeated Chris Harris.

Roode says Young has to tell him who his friend is by next week.

Christopher Daniels defeated Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles, and Rhino. Daniels hit Rhino with a bat and pinned him.

Roode and Young come back out. Roode wants to know who Young's friend is. Young won't tell him, and Roode hits him with a chair. Roode then proceeds to handcuff Young. While Young is being beaten down, Jeff Jarrett comes to the rescue. Jarrett clears house on Roode, and hits Ms. Brooks over the head with a guitar.

Team 3D defeated Christian Cage & Abyss to retain the tag team titles. Team 3D gave Abyss the 3D to retain the titles. LAX was at ringside but did not interfere. Cage and Abyss argue after, and Abyss is about to attack Cage but doesn't .The rest of Cage's guys come out to attack Abyss. Abyss fights them off and ends up hitting Mitchell with the black hole slam. Abyss then gets beat up by all of Team Cage. They used a chair and even a barbed wire bat.

Very interesting first hour.

In an Xplosion match, Jerry Lynn defeated Havok (Johnny Devine) with a piledriver.

Kurt Angle vs. Sting went to a no contest. It was a short match that was mainly stalling. Christian and his buddies ran down to beat up on them, but Sting helped Angle clear house. For something that is supposed to be a dream match, giving it literally under four minutes in the middle of a TV show isn't exactly ideal.

Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt defeated Senshi & Shark Boy, Shelley & Kazarian, and Petey Williams & Jerry Lynn. This match was a four-way, and the winners compete in a triple threat match with Chris Sabin at Sacrifice for the x division title.

Team 3D defeated Scott Steiner & Tomko to retain the tag team titles. LAX helped 3D win (why?) and 3D pinned Tomko. LAX brawls with Steiner & Tomko after the match.

On Xplosion, Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley defeated Senshi & Petey Williams when Shelley pinned Williams.

Christian Cage defeated Sting by DQ to retain the NWA title. Angle ran down and attacked Cage to cause the DQ. Sting hits Angle with the bat, and then leaves with a disappointed look on his face.

Interesting to note that Samoa Joe did nothing at these tapings besides the short four-way match in the first hour. I'm thinking that the segment involving Jarrett being revealed as Young's friend will be saved for hour two.

Matches Confirmed for Sacrifice:

X Division Title: Chris Sabin (champ) vs. Jay Lethal vs. Sonjay Dutt

Potential Matches For Sacrifice:

NWA Title: Christian Cage (champ) vs. Kurt Angle vs. Sting

Tag Team Titles: Team 3D (champs) vs. LAX vs. Tomko & Steiner

Abyss vs. Someone from Team Cage

**SPOILERS** TNA iMPACT! Tapings (2 Weeks)

Thanks to Alan Wojcik for these results:

These are the LIVE SPOILERS for the final TNA TV taping before Sacrifice. Former WWE Tough Enough 2 competitor Hawk was in attendance along with Sean Waltman and family. Let’s find out what happened tonight.

Hour one news and notes:

The show was opened by the arrival of the one and only Sting into the Impact Zone. He didn’t even get in the ring as Kurt angle attacked him with a chair. TNA black shirt security hit the ring to break them up. Both were given microphones and they argued about the end of last week’s match between Sting and NWA World Heavyweight champion “Instant Classic” Christian Cage who also came out to the Impact Zone or at least his music played. Instead Sting and Angle brawled around the ring again and the black shirts hit the ring since the referee’s were no match for the two high strung former world champions. Finally the champ hit the Impact Zone to a babyface pop. Cage wanted everyone to get along. He felt being the humanitarian he wanted Sting to team up with Angle to face “the Instant Classic” and “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles. The person who scores the pin in the NO DQ match would get the title shot, but if their team lost both of them lost their shot at Sacrifice. Sting said he already had the title shot and didn’t need the match. I think Angle asked Sting if he was an icon or a pussy before they cut to the backstage area.

Leticia interviewed NWA World Tag Team champions Team 3D (Ray and Devon) about their match tonight with Samoa Joe and Rhino.

(1) The match up of NWA World Tag Team champions Team 3D (Ray and Devon) vs. Samoa Joe and “War Machine” Rhino ended in a no contest.
LAX didn’t join Mike Tenay and Don West for commentary this week but their fans chanted 3D sucks several times. Team 3D began by working over Rhino but Joe tagged into face Ray and the two men had an excellent exchange of power moves where nothing was resolved. Things broke down as Joe hit Devon with a Samoan Drop, Ray hit Joe with the Bubba Bomb. But when it looked like someone was going for a pin “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels hit the ring and the competitors with a baseball bat. Too bad he didn’t hit Joe who locked him in the Kokina Clutch. All four men got in a shot and the fun ended when Rhino hit the GORE into a folding table propped in a corner.

Jeremy Borash spoke to NWA World Heavyweight champion “Instant Classic” Christian Cage and “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles, who wasn’t too happy Cage volunteered him for a NO DQ match. Cage tried to kiss Styles’ butt a little saying if they eliminate Sting and Angle Styles would be #1 contender.

Back from commercial Mike Tenay and Don West spoke to the home viewers. Robert Roode (carrying his RRI business plan) and Ms. Brooks (sporting a neck brace) made their way into the Impact Zone with tons of egg on their face after last week’s announcement that Jeff Jarrett was Eric Young’s friend. Needless to say Roode was not a happy joy-joy person. He called for Young to come out to the ring so he could be fired in front of everyone in the Impact Zone. But instead of Eric Young, Roode got TNA Management’s Jim Cornette who told the fans Jeff Jarrett was not in attendance. He said the only people who deserved to be fired were Roode and his “flotation floozy.” Cornette said when Eric Young signed the RRI deal he breached his TNA deal but Roode was guilty of tampering (I feel like I am on an episode of Law and Order) so Cornette wanted the whole thing dropped. Roode said he was firing Young whether Cornette liked it nor not and shoved Cornette down. This brought out Eric Young who cleaned Roode’s clock for a moment but when he went to get Jeff Jarrett’s guitar Roode was waiting. Too bad for Roode, Young knew what was coming and he fought back. But when Young went to clock Roode and Brooks with the guitar, Roode hit a chop block to Young’s knees (15 yard penalty in an NFL game.) Roode used the cuffs he stole from “Wildcat” Chris Harris to lock Young in a corner, where he berated him on the mic before using the guitar on Young’s head. Cornette recovered enough to talk on the mic and said instead of firing Roode he was going to have to face Jeff Jarrett at Sacrifice.

Tenay and West spoke to the home viewers once more.

(2) In a Lockdown rematch with Street Fight rules, Gail Kim defeated “the Pride of Tennessee” Jacqueline Moore (carrying a bullrope).
Kim wasted no time and leveled Moore with a cookie sheet to the head. The fight went to the floor where Kim’s ribs met the ringside guard rail and then she was slammed to the rampway for a one count. Kim threw Moore back in the ring and went shopping under the ring for garbage can, kendo stick (possibly borrowed from Kahagas) and the can ended up on Moore’s upper body as Kim swung it like Sammy Sosa. Kim must have been watching the best of AMW because she tossed baby powder into Moore’s face. Next she choked out Moore with a bar but the last blow came when Moore’s attempted chair shot was kicked back in her face for the pin. The fun really began when “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm came out to help Moore exact some revenge on Kim. The bad part for Storm was the fully healed “Wildcat” Chris Harris also came out to the ring to fight. After the match some officials needed a moment to search in the ring for two of Moore’s front teeth which were knocked out during the match.

Tenay and West did another chat with the home viewers. Between commercials they were joined by Jim Cornette for commentary.

(3) In a NO DQ match, Sting and Kurt Angle defeated NWA World Heavyweight champion “Instant Classic” Christian Cage and “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles.
It may have been NO DQ but referee Rudy Charles made the match begin as a normal tag team match with angle squaring off with Angle and the two men traded punches and forearms but Angle got a takeover slam before tagging in Sting. Sting promptly dropkicked Cage and press slammed him over his head, threatening to toss him to the floor onto Styles. Styles and Cage got control by grabbing Sting’s legs and dragging him right into the ring post, making Sting’s lower abdominal area not feel so well. Cage and Styles tagged several times working over Sting as Angle was forced to watch on even though NO DQ was the rules for the bout. Sting fought off defeat several times and was finally able to get Angle into the match and he delivered several German suplexes. Sting hit a double Stinger splash and then hit Cage with the Scorpion Death Drop but Angle stopped the pin. They hit Styles with a double Rock Bottom but Cage hit both of them with chair shots. Styles got a chair but their chairscendo backfired as Angle moved and sent Cage to the floor. Both men got Styles to tap out to an Ankle Lock. This caused Cornette to exit the broadcast table to ask Charles which man got the submission victory. Charles said both men got the win so Cornette decreed at the PPV Cage would have to defend in a three way match.

In between shows Jeremy Borash introduced someone from the TV show Heroes (which airs on NBC and mentioned TNA Mobile was now fully active.

Hour two news and notes:

(1) LAX’s “Notorious 187” Homicide defeated Team 3D’s Devon and “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner.
Everyone minus Steiner came to the ring with their partner or manager who remained at ringside. Homicide tried to talk Steiner into working together but Steiner refused and kept trying to order Homicide around. They hit Devon with a suplex and chest chops as Ray could only watch on. Devon tried to fight back but Steiner hit a belly to belly suplex for two. Steiner placed Devon in the Tree of Woe so more punishment could be inflicted. Homicide was hit by a Steiner Tilt-A-Whirl slam for two as Devon recovered in a corner. Devon got back in the match hitting Steiner with a shot then hit Homicide with a Sky High Slam for two as Steiner fought on the floor with Ray. Machete got the referee’s attention long enough for Hernandez to hit Devon with the Border Toss help to win the match for Homicide. After the match Ray and Steiner traded chair shots and fought to the locker room.

Tenay and West talked on camera to the home viewers. Christy Hemme and the Voodoo Kin Mafia (Kip and BG James) came out the ring but the team formerly called the Bashams hit the ring and attacked the VKM. Hemme introduced them as Basham and Damaja. Lance Hoyt came out and the trio hit the bricks. Tenay and West spoke on camera possibly talking about what went down in the ring.

(2) World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley defeated Sonjay Dutt and “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal.
As Dutt and Lethal came out you could see Dutt was still not amused by the transformation Lethal underwent courtesy of Kevin Nash. Shelley didn’t look amused either as he faced off with Lethal to open the match where Lethal hit some “Macho Man” like moves. Dutt stood in his corner and watched as Lethal was hit with several double team moves. Lethal survived and tagged out to Dutt who was energized, clearing the ring. Dutt hit Sabin Sliced Bread #2 and Lethal went up top ready to hit the elbow drop but Dutt picked up Sabin. The referee put out Lethal out of the ring and it allowed Shelley to hit Dutt with Emeral Frosion to win. After the match Bob Backland came out and attacked Sabin and Shelley possibly for the recent Paparazzi Productions video where Sabin and Shelley attacked Backland, who walks from the TNA hotel to Universal Studios for the tapings. .

(3) In a NO DQ battle, “the Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels and “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm (w/ “Pride of Tennessee” Jacqueline Moore minus two teeth) defeated “Wildcat” Chris Harris (w/Gail Kim), “War Machine” Rhino and Samoa Joe
Storm wearing his hat squared off with Joe and quickly had it pulled over his eyes. Joe tagged in Harris and Storm quickly got out tagging in Styles who got suplexed by Harris as Joe made a blind tag. Rhino tagged in to inflict a beating on Styles with great fury. That ended when Styles distracted the referee and Daniels knocked Rhino off the top turnbuckle and down to the floor. Rhino got back in the ring where Daniels was waiting to attack .Daniels and teammates tagged out to wear out Rhino as the crowd cheered him on. Storm made a mental error and it allowed Rhino to tag out to Harris. Tags didn’t matter anymore as all six competitors got in the ring to fight. Storm and Harris remained in the ring where Moore tried to toss the beer bottle into Storm but landed in Harris’ hand. Harris was ready to deck his old partner but Storm grabbed the referee and stopped the shot. In the end Storm won via rollup and a huge hand full of tights. The fighting was not done as Harris chased Storm in the crowd behind the announcers. Their fighting ended as Harris backdropped Storm off and down to the concrete floor below.

After that fight ended, Sting and Angle fought their way into the Impact Zone with Christian Cage watched on from a safe distance. Finally TNA referees and black shirt security broke them up. Angle said on the house mic come Sacrifice Sting’s ass was his.

Matches taped for Xplosion:

(1) Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks) defeated Sonjay Dutt. After the match Roode took the mic to tell the fans he was going to make an example out of Dutt but Eric Young and guitar came to the rescue.

(2) “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal defeated LAX’s “Notorious 187” Homicide (minus the rest of LAX).

Announced matches for Sacrifice PPV:
***NWA World Heavyweight champion “Instant Classic” Christian Cage vs. Sting vs. Kurt Angle
***NWA World Tag Team champions Team 3D (Ray and Devon) vs. Tomko and “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner and Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez w/Konnan & Machete)
***In a three way match, World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal
***In a Texas Death match, “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm vs. “Wildcat” Chris Harris
***Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks) vs. “King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett
I am guessing Voodoo Kin Mafia (Kip and BG James) vs. Basham and Damaja (w/Christy Hemme) is on the PPV based on what went down in hour two of Impact.

Possibly we will also find out some of the people who will be in the annual King of the Mountain match to be held in Nashville at Slammiversary. David Penzer informed us that “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels challenged anyone on the roster to a “First Blood” match during hour one of Impact.

5/17/2007 news and matches:

We were joined at the opening of the show by the new World Heavyweight champion Kurt Angle. He was wearing the new title belt which kind of looked like an old WWWF title belt but it looked good. Angle said it took him months to get here and finally he was the World Heavyweight champion after fighting Samoa Joe, Sting, Scott Steiner and Christian Cage when Sting crashed the party. Sting admitted last night the Ankle Lock was the real deal and he needed some Advil, also admitting he tapped out to Kurt Angle. Sting said he had Cage pinned before he tapped out and he felt he was the true World Heavyweight champion. That of course brought out Christian Cage and Tomko. Cage said that Sting and Angle prided themselves on doing the right thing. Cage said he also had a legitimate claim to be the World champion even after Jim Cornette’s “5-1advantage.” Cage invoked the Chris Jericho clause using the TNA rulebook as his weapon. That didn’t happen when Jim Cornette made his presence felt. Cornette said one thing was certain about the match on the PPV, Cage was pinned and wasn’t the champion. He also said Sting tapped out and he wasn’t the champion either. He took the title from Angle’s hands and said the belt wasn’t Angle’s either. Cornette said that Andrew Thomas was not the referee of record so the match result was null and void. He then verbally ran down Cage, Angle and Sting while the fans chanted for Samoa Joe. Cornette said guys like Joe and Rhino were hungrier than the trio in the ring. Ten stars (with Rhino, Joe, Sting, Cage and Sting included) in TNA would be fighting until Slammiversary to earn the right to be in the King of the Mountain match.

Mike Tenay and Don West spoke to the home viewers about what went down in the ring. Jeremy Borash came out briefly introduce Japanese legend Antonio Inoki. He said in June there would be some kind of talent exchange. “Showtime” Eric Young and the mascot were hanging out in the fans. During the first hour we only saw one backstage segment and it was at the end of the show.

(1) The Motor City Machine Guns (World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) defeated Jerry Lynn & Tiger Mask IV.

Sabin also came out with a new title belt. Sabin and Lynn picked up where they left off at Sacrifice, trading high impact moves. Lynn took control with a head scissor and tagged in Tiger Mask, which sent Sabin scurrying to his corner to tag Shelley. Shelley hit a jawbreaker but it didn’t work but the double team dropkick to the back into an STO worked. Tiger Mask countered a back suplex into a enziguri but he got hit by a Sabin Acecrusher. Lynn ended up on the floor as Sabin/Shelley hit machine gun like kicks to the head of Tiger Mask before getting the pin. After the bell they attacked Lynn but it backfired as Lynn was saved by Mr. Backlund. That didn’t last long as they took over on the former champion who was saved by “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal (sporting his new t-shirt.)

(2) In a “First Blood” match, “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels defeated Raven (w/Serotonin members Havok AKA “Hotshot” Johnny Devine, Kaz AKA Frankie “the Future” Kazarian and Martyr AKA Matt Bentley)

Daniels went to use the baseball bat but Raven used his kendo stick. Raven went to end it with a screwdriver to the head but Daniels escaped. Raven called for his chair but Daniels ended up using it as a weapon. Raven got it back but Daniels hit an enziguri. Daniels’s STO onto the chair was blocked but not the DDT into the chair by Raven. Raven splintered the Kendo Stick (not one owned by Kahagas as his kendo sticks NEVER break) and tried to cut open Daniels but a crotch shot stopped that. Daniels got the shards and split open Raven to win. Shockingly Serotonin did not interfere during the match but they did save Raven from further beating. Kaz said Raven needed to be disciplined so he demanded Raven kneel. Raven obliged but when Kazarian went to hit Raven, Martyr and Havok stepped in front. I guess Frankie Kazarian is out of Serotonin.

“Showtime” Eric Young and his army of friends made their way into the Impact Zone. Young got in the ring to say he wasn’t here to party, but to give thanks to Jeff Jarrett who taught him to believe in himself and do what is right. Next he thanked the fans for their support in his battles. He claimed he was a free man but that brought out Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks. Roode said hi hearing was going because he didn’t think he heard Young right. He threatened to fire Young but he said the rules have changed since Jim Cornette threatened a lawsuit. Roode said Young needed a good attorney because he was going to sue Young for all he was worth. Young took the envelope from Roode and wiped it on his butt. Young got decked but he fought back despite Ms. Brooks’ interference. The fans chanted for Jeff Jarrett but he was not in attendance. The mascot got Roode’s attention long enough for Young to get a chair and swing but miss hitting Roode.

Tenay and West spoke to the home viewers.

(3) In a KOTM qualifier, Kurt Angle defeated “War Machine” Rhino.

This was an interesting match from bell to bell. Angle and Rhino traded side headlocks and shoulder tackles but neither got total control as one would separate from the other before hand. Rhino got control with a TKO but got two as angle slid out into the Ankle Lock but Rhino countered out into a powerslam. Rhino went for and missed the GORE and Angle hit a German Suplex. Angle took Rhino over into a rear chinlock but Rhino fought to his feet hitting a clothesline and a corner spear. A Northern Lights Suplex got Rhino a two count and so did a spinebuster. Angle went up top but Rhino met him and brought Angle down in a superplex but got two for his effort. Angle escaped a belly to belly and hit Rhino with another German suplex before the singlet came down. Rhino got out of the Olympic Slam but his GORE was stopped and Angle won via the Olympic Slam.

On screen we saw Leticia Cline get from Jim Cornette the main event of hour two would be Sting against Samoa Joe. The Steiner Brothers came in with a table and asked for a match with Team 3D. I think Cornette agreed to an in-ring confrontation of some kind.

Hour two news and matches:

No backtage promos were played for the fans to watch.

Team 3D and their new belts made their way into the Impact Zone. Ray said the word on the street was the Steiner Brothers wanted to talk so he asked them to come out. Rick and Scott obliged to a mixed reaction. Team 3D said it was an absolute pleasure to be in the ring with one of the best tag teams in history. Scott didn’t want the fans or Ray’s opinion about how great they were, he wanted to talk about the lack of legacy in 3D’s hand. Scott said they were the first WCW Tag Team champions (sort of truth) and he felt the WCW 3D was talking about was the abortion Vince McMahon forced down the fans throat. He felt the ECW “World” Tag Team titles weren’t as word wide as the Steiner’s victory for the IWGP titles while 3D never left the Bingo Hall. Scott said Team 3D beat no one. Rick Steiner pulled out a long list of team they defeated in their career and it was a long list of wrestling legends. Ray felt Rick needed to not acknowledge the defeat of the Outsiders. He said they had respect for 3D not like some punks in the business. Scott bottom-lined it by saying 3D’s legacy didn’t mean SHIT! Devon said he didn’t like the treatment they were getting for putting the Steiner’s on a pedestal. Devon said yeah the Steiner’s have beaten everyone but not 3D. Scott challenged them to a match at Slammiversary. Ray accepted and wanted the absolute best the Steiner’s had to bring.

(1) Damaja and Basham (w/Christy Hemme) defeated Kip James and Lance Hoyt.

At Sacrifice Kip got his butt kicked by Basham/Damaja and with Hoyt he looked to exact some revenge. Kip had control of Basham but a blind tag to Damaja changed that. They made several tags wearing down Kip as Hoyt could only pace the apron. Kip survived the onslaught as Hoyt got rid of Hemme. In the end with Hoyt out of the match Damaja hit Kip with an inverted atomic drop and Basham hit a leg lariat takedown to win.

(2) “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage and Tomko defeated Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez w/Konnan on crutches)

Cage looked a little no without the 10 pounds of gold around his waist. Instead of locking up with Hernandez, Tomko tagged out to Cage to begin the match. It worked in the favor of LAX as they took over on Cage with double team moves until Cage could tag out to Tomko who wasn’t affected by Homicide’s punches to the head. To the shock of many the non LAX fans cheered for them as Tomko hit Homicide with a throw away slam. Konnan and Hector Guerrero were talking at ringside as Cage got a two count on Homicide. Tomko hit a running powerslam but somehow Homicide escaped defeat. Hernandez made a blind tag and hit Cage with a slingshot shoulder block and a throw away choke slam. Homicide left the ring to confront Guerrero and it allowed Cage to escape a Border Toss when Tomko kicked Hernandez in the face. That set up a Cage Frog Splash for the win. Konnan and the LAX were ready to fight Guerrero when Rhino and “Wildcat” Chris Harris came out to even the odds up. To the surprise of no one LAX retreated from danger.

(3) In a KOTM qualifier, Samoa Joe defeated Sting.

This was the one of best of the 90’s taking on arguably one of the best in current time. The fans were split as some chanted Joe’s Gonna Kill you towards the Icon even as the show was at commercial. The match went on with neither man fully containing control as Joe escaped the Scorpion Death Lock and Sting escaped the Kokina Clutch. When Joe took over with some punches “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels came to ringside. Sting missed the Stinger Splash but Joe didn’t miss an enziguri. TV came back live as Sting asked Daniels to leave ringside. Joe wasted no time in going back on the attack as Daniels stayed ringside. Joe stretched out Sting on the mat but Sting fought to his feet but ran into a leg lariat that got Joe a two count. Joe locked in a Crossface like move but Sting fought out of that too but Joe tossed him to the mat before hitting an elbow drop for two. Sting countered out of a suplex and hit the Scorpion Death Drop. Daniels argued with Andrew Thomas and he tossed the bat to Sting. But Sting refused to use it and Daniels paid him back by hitting Sting in the back. Joe hit a Samoan Drop to win.

Am I the only one excited about Steiner Brothers vs. the Dudley Boyz at Slammiversary. I have a feeling that match might steal the show. Sure the guys are older, but you have four guys full of pride in the ring, I think it'll be damn worth watching.

I agree Shocky i have a big feeling that these two teams might find that fountain of youth at Slammiversary and put on one hell of a show. Hopefully they dont make it a gimmick match as this one can stand on its own as a regular tag team match.

It could be good. But I think it will be terrible. I'd much prefer LAX vs. The Steiners. I think that they would carry them better. Hernandez and Scott going stiff on each other would be pretty good. I dont know if Rick would be willing to sell properly for the smaller Homicide though.

TNA iMPACT! Tapings for May 31:

- Jim Cornette came out to discuss the King of the Mountain Match at Slammiversary on June 17 to determine a new TNA World Champion. Cornette mentioned that Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe have already qualified. He said this week's scheduled qualified match was supposed to be Jeff Jarrett vs. AJ Styles, but Jarrett was unable to appear due to family reasons. Cornette said he understood Jarrett's decision. Christian Cage, AJ Styles and Tomko all came out. Cage demanded Cornette raise AJ's hand as the winner and pointed out how Cornette has been screwing him for months in TNA. Cornette said since he pointed out that, he wouldn't announce AJ as the winner by forfeit and announced Styles vs. Tomko later in the night in a KOTM Qualifying Match.

- Christopher Daniels vs. Rhino never took place as Sting attacked Daniels while he was coming down the ramp. Rhino then got on the mic and said he was going to kick Daniels' ass, but Sting beat him to it. He then issued a challenge to anyone in the back. LAX came out. Konnan got on the mic and talked about TNA screwing LAX and how they would get the TNA Tag Titles back soon. He also called Hector Guerrero a sell out. Guerrero joined Rhino in his corner which led to...

- Rhino w/ Hector Guerrero defeated Homicide w/ LAX. After the match, LAX attacked Rhino. Guerrero hit the ring when LAX was about to take out Rhino with a chair. LAX then went after Guerrero until Chris Harris hit the ring to make the save.

- TNA X Division Champion Chris Sabin defeated Kazarian in a Non-Title Match. Said to be a solid match.

- AJ Styles defeated Tomko in a Qualifying Match for the King of the Mountain Match. Cage was at ringside cheering on both guys. Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe showed up later. Styles rolled up Tomko for the win.

TNA iMPACT! Tapings for June 7:

- Robert Roode defeated Jerry Lynn. After the match, Roode and Ms. Brooks tried to take out Lynn when Eric Young hit the ring with a chair. Roode put Brooks in the path of Young and bailed from the ring. Young prevents Brooks from leaving the ring. Lynn and Young tease giving Ms. Brooks a Cradle Piledriver until Jim Cornette breaks it up. He said there will be no violence against women in TNA. Cornette setup a match between Brooks and Gail Kim since Brooks wanted to get involved so much.

- Gail Kim defeated Ms. Brooks. After the match, Robert Roode came out. Kim tried going after Roode, but Brooks took her out from behind.

- Chris Harris vs. James Storm ended in a No Contest in a Qualifying Match for the King of the Mountain. The finish saw Harris give Storm a Spear through the bottom of the stage. The referee then counted both men out, but it was stated that if one man could recover and get to the ring then they would win. Neither man could recover, so neither move onto the KOTM Match at Slammiversary. Both Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe were out again scouting during the match. After the match, Angle and Joe get in each other's faces in the ring as TNA Security break it up. Styles comes out and tries to hit Angle with a pipe, but Angle ducks and puts him in the Ankle Lock.

TNA iMPACT! Tapings for June 14:

- The Steiners & Basham and Damaja defeated TNA World Tag Team Champions Team 3D & Voodoo Kin Mafia. The finish saw Christy Hemme spray Kim James with what looked to be mace allowing The Bashams to get the win.

- Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe & AJ Styles defeated Sting, Rhino & Tomko in a "King of the Mountain Redemption Match" where it was explained that if Angle, Joe and Styles lost, they would have forfeited their spots in the KOTM Match to Sting's team. However, Tomko never showed up for the match and Christopher Daniels tried getting tagged in by Sting. Daniels hit Sting with the Last Rites allowing Angle to pin Sting.

- Christian Cage defeated Abyss via DQ in a Qualifying Match for the King of the Mountain Match. Abyss used a chair on Cage to cause the DQ to give Cage the win. After the match, Abyss brings out what looks to be his bag of thumbtacks. It turns out to be broken glass inside instead. TNA officials Terry Taylor and Simon Diamond try to stop Abyss, but get taken out. Cage, Styles and Tomko all try to take out Abyss. Cage gets a barbed wire bat. Abyss fights off the attack and ends the show cleaning house on all three men in the ring.

so thats what....christian, Aj, Angle and Joe for the title at Slammiversary....there is usually five i wonder how they will announce the fifth or for that matter who the fifth will be??

humm could add jarrett to the mix i mean that could be the plan...but ya four seems iffy so i'm only guessing that Jarrett gets added in
