TNA Announces a Brand New Show Called 'TNA BootCamp'

During TNA's recent UK Fan party, TNA officials announced a brand new show called 'TNA BootCamp' which will focus on UK talent competing for a chance to get a TNA contract. Competitors for the show so far have been revealed as Marty Scurll, Rockstar Spud and The Blossom Twins.

This show will most likely be airing on ChallengeTV for UK viewers which has become TNAtv now with this show being the 7th TNA run program on network weekly.

Sounds like a good concept for more talent. I like the concept, the names are pretty good. It's funny how only a few years ago, the reputation TNA had was not pushing talent and suddenly they are dedicating themselves to new talent with OVW, Gutcheck and now BootCamp.

TNA now has Xplosion, BootCamp, Unfinished Business and TNA Classics as their alternate programming. Hopefully by 2013, Spike TV gets their crap together and brings these programs to the US.

Wow. I wonder what format this show is likely to take. It's not something they can film at Impact and OVW is a ways away for British talent. They're going to have to follow indy talent around on some shady looking shows. Not sure how that'll come across.

Being from the UK i am very happy to hear about this, the more wrestling i get to watch on TV the better hopefully this new show will start fairly soon. Its deffinatly good news for TNA.
I will be honest aside from TNA, Challenge is an awful channel but they seem to do everything they can for TNA with the ammount of shows they have on the channel which is brilliant.

I would love to see a Live TNA slot at 1am or 2am whenever it would be though, it wouldnt hurt to bump of one of the gameshow re-runs to put Impact Wrestling live on there whilst TNA are still going live.

But i am looking forward to checking on some new talent on this new show!

And hopefully they will be able to find some stand out talent to call up to the main roster through this but either way i will enjoy watching :D

So basically, TNA is doing a version of Tough Enough that's set in the UK and will feature UK talent. Nothing wrong with that, though it's not something American fans will be overly excited about considering that they can't see it.

The winner of the competition will probably be sent to OVW for more training just as WWE sent the Tough Enough winner to FCW. It's a shame that TNA doesn't air another show here in the states, though I can understand why it hasn't happened. In the UK, comparatively speaking, TNA draws better than it does here in the United States. The television ratings system is set up differently and TNA programming does well, so it gives them leverage to put more and more of their stuff on UK television.

Fans in the states have been wanting another TNA show for a while but it's probably not feesible until/unless TNA is able to draw bigger numbers. Spike's certainly not willing to pay for another one and TNA's deal with them does include the rights to shop around shows to other networks. There don't seem to be any interested cable networks right now, so TNA is doing what they can even if it means going to other countries.

Not a bad idea at all. If TNA is as popular there as I have read then this show should do pretty well. It's like their version of tough enough. Like Jack Hammer said, it would be pretty interesting to see a US version of a show like that in TNA.

Sounds a lot better than what TNA is doing with Gut Check now. Too bad I can't see it in the US. It does sound like Tough Enough, but hopefully they actually give the up and comers with promise a shot to go to OVW instead of the weaker ones. I really hated how that chick Ariane got a contract with WWE instead of Eric or Martin from TE.

I am happy about this, the only reason I watch Challenge other than TNA is to perve at the HOT "Prize girls" on Bruce's Price is Right anyway, Emma Steadman is HOT! (If you don't know who she is, Google is your friend for pics)

so not only does tna have faild ideas time and time again they want to add another sunkin ship to the list.tna shud be on Nickelodeon? its the off brand GUTS

This is great news. As a TNA fan based in the UK I am all for as much TNA programming on our screens as possible! Plus, as this is focusing on UK based talent then it will increase the name value of these British wrestlers and hopefully give the whole UK wrestling scene a bit more exposure, which is only a good thing.

I am interested to see who else TNA pick up to compete on the show, and am looking forward to checking this out when it comes on the air.

looking forward to seeing the show. there is some great British wrestlers out there and it would be nice to see another one join the inpact roster.
