TNA and Rape Angles?

I don't find it surprising at all that TNA would stoop so low, but they clearly have built their world champion as a rapist. Bubba Ray's marriage to Brooke was built on a pack of lies, and in those lies would clearly be the times that he had sexual relations with her under the pretense of love. There was no love, only lies and manipulation, which means that Bubba retro-raped Brooke.

Is this something that happens often in the Indys like TNA? Rape angles? It's really shocking and low.
