I'm not one of those guys flipping tables over the ending, but I think the mainstream coverage is interesting.

What are you talking about? McMahon is totally listening to fans and isn't out of touch.
 
I think it's a little of both McMahon not understanding the new generation, and the oldest of the new generation holding onto the last of the old glory days and not welcoming change. It's not like this hasn't happened in the wrestling industry before, because it has.
