Have been in limbo over the past few months with Uni n shit.

Been watching X Factor over here in Australia and damn you guys gotta check this guy out.

Hes a Total Nutjob but he is a fucking insane performer...His name is Altiyan Childs and was part of a band called Masonia before he auditioned for X Factor. I beleive this guy can make it real big on an International scale as many Artists from down here fail to crack the International Market and stick to selling records here in Australia. You guys may have heard of Guy Sebastian on the Panel, he's sick too.

I also live in Australia and I absoloutely hate the whole X-Factor show, It seems like we can't come up with our own shows for example we have Top Gear Australia(HORRIBLE SHOW!!! They just don't have the natural funny side that the British Version has), So you think you can dance Australia, Australian Idol, ETC......

(Back on topic) He's alright, I honestly don't think he can "make it", Maybe Australian wide yes but not on the international stage, He's a complete
nut-job like Ozzy but he won't reach the "Big time" anywhere apart from Australia.

To me He just doesn't have the "It" factor.

I dunno man but I truly think that he may just crAck the international scene. Look at Jess Mauboy, she seems to be doing fine however all the other Aussie artists just struggle to crack the US market.

Who knows, although the show completely sucks, I still enjoy it relatively more than the UK version. In addition, I think this guy may be the one to do it and finally crack it internationally.

To answer your question, I agree with Haggis. X facter is the shittiest show out there. Nobody on that show will ever actually have the skills to make it big out of Australia or even inside Australia for longer then a year. The whole thing's a fucking popularity contest. Not for the actual singing but who people think is hot. It's a joke just like australian idol.

I wasn't asking whether you thought X factor was good or not, but whether you liked the guy who was performing. If you had watched the video you would see that this guy is not fucking hot nor is was he the most popular. His talent is what makes him stand out. He was a joke at the start and if you saw the clip you would see he's by no means polished or usual Australian Idol material. He's a 35 year old truck driver. Maybe you think that's hot.

I do agree with you however that winners of these talent shows do jack shit after they win, however I happen to see something different in this guy.

You obviously didn't watch his U2 performance. He's a scruffy 35 year old. He certainly isnt as all the other shows winners usually are, pretty and basically wining a popularity contest and who garners the most female screams from the audience.

I like yourself is really sick of shows like idol and xfactor who produce winners who do jack shit, however once every while there comes along a Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson or a Daughtry.

Altiyan could be Australia's new international rock star. Just sayin'.
