I typed a long MLB post on the toilet today.. I mean this beast was almost 2000 words. I clicked 'Go Advanced' before I hooked in my internet. It wouldn't let me re-send it.

Are you excited about the Lackey signing? I'm nervous that Clay may be on the move for A-Gon.

Definitely excited. I think we overpaid a bit for him, but considering the Burnett deal last year it doesn't surprise me he got that kind of money. With Halladay going to the Phillies now too, I'm REALLY hoping that they do infact trade Clay and others for A-Gon. We need a power bat and I'm not sure if the Sox want to deal with Boras/Holliday. Bay is pretty much gone at this point.

You should. The Yankees have a centerfielder that doesn't suck balls. Been awhile since that happened. 30 HR power CF is nothing to scoff at.

The bat is a definite need. You can have all the pitching in the world, but you aren't going to shutout the Yankees. You have to be able to score.
