The UConn Women lost - Streak ends at 90

Sly wins. No point in arguing any longer.

^^Smart fella.

I think the UConn streak is incredibly impressive. Is it as great/greater than the UCLA one? I'm not sure as I wasn't around to see the UCLA one. I watched some of the UConn streak and they were annihilating people left and right. The main arguments I've heard is that there's a greater deal of parity for the UCLA one than this one, which may or may not be true. I'm not sure which is greater because like I said I wasn't around to see the UCLA one and can't compare the two. The fact of it is though that despite UConn getting more wins, UCLA is going to receive the vast majority of the credit for multiple reasons, with the biggest one being that not a lot of people care about women's basketball. It's a very different style of a game and to an average fan it's less interesting. I'd prefer watching men's teams play, but I've gotten way into some UK women's games in the past. Anyway, I don't know which is better, but UConn's is definitely impressive, as was UCLA's based on the numbers I've seen of it.

Hmm...I don't know, you'd have to give me some to compare to.

I'll go just by winning streaks:

-Oklahoma's 47 gamer in NCAA FB (sometime in the 50's I believe)
-2 34 game winning streaks by Texas and Florida Atlantic in Baseball (Texas's in 1977, FAU in 1999)
-LA Lakers 33 Game winning streak in 1971-72
-19 Straight World Cup Appearances by Brazil (and still going)
-21 straight games won (including playoffs) by the Patriots between 03 and 04.
-Washington's 63 unbeaten streak (59 wins, 4 ties) from 1907-1917
-17 by Pittsburgh Penguins in 91-92
-35 unbeaten games by the Philadelphia Flyers in 79-80 (which had 10 ties)
-109 by Penn State Women's Volleyball (07-10)

I know these are all completely different sports so it would be difficult to compare apples to oranges, but I just would like to see your input.
