The TNA/OVW Relationship Begins; Anarquia, Rob Terry Sent Down

TNA has sent Anarquia and Rob Terry to Ohio Valley Wrestling for developmental work.

The two are scheduled for matches at Tuesday’s OVW show in New London, Indiana.

I can only assume they will also maintain their current roles on TNA as Robbie E's bouncer and a part of Mex-Am respectively. These two do need polishing, so they did good in sending them down there. Anarquia has been pegged as the weak link of Mex-Am and Rob Terry couldn't even work squash matches right. I;d put money into sending guys like Zema Ion, Mark Haskins and Jesse Neal to OVW too. Oh and Devon and Kid Kash. But just leave those two there.

Thoughts on TNA's first act with OVW?

Good start. But there are plenty of others who could use a tweak or two. I'd also like to see some OVW names step it up to the TNA main Roster. Then we wouldn't have just WWE Former Stars debuting. It would be a nice change. I see this being TNA biggest step foward. Bigger then Hogan, Flair, Hardy, or anything else TNA has done toward competing with WWE.
I like the moves so far.

Great move. Quick point to make though. I think you need to get the difference between needs developmental and the you dont enjoy them. Kid Kash and Devon have more experiance then most the guys on the TNA roster(exluding the flairs and Hogans of course). Also Kash and Devons roles are not supposed to be the overly exciting, over, and productive people on the roster. They are supposed to be the vets that help get the young talent over. Imo Kash could still do pretty good as a secondary star of the x-division(similar to RVD.Get talent over but still get occasional pushes). But guys like Kash,Devon,Kendrick,Moore(2 other guys ive seen mentioned in other topics) and other guys not doing anything dont need developmental, just ether pushes to show their stuff or keep helping put over and develop the young talent further in a vetern mentor type deal.

Guys who this can help are like Zema.Haskins,Sorrenson,Tony Nesse,Neal, and Garrett Bischoff are guys who have little big time experiance and still have alot of areas they can grow in. Infact thats probably a good portion of the list that are going down quite honestly

Anarquia and Rob Terry I don't really see either man making a impact in the end in TNA so having them off TV is good.I wanna see what OVW does in helping Neal, Sorrenson, Garrett and Zema.TNA is building Sorrenson as the next AJ Styles in their eyes.I think Zema is already ready to shine, just needs to build himself up on the microphone. As for Neal, I like his intensity, OVW will be good for Career.Garrett not sure what to do about it.We have only see bits and pieces on what he can do..so after his tour with OVW, we will either see the stock rise or fall with all of these men. What I wanna see as well is OVW come up to TNA.Any guys up there ready for the big-time?

Am I the only one who finds hilarious the fact that OVW was where TNA got Anarquia from in the first place?

Anyfuck, these two are hopefully just the beginning. I don't see what Anarquia can do outside of tag-team wrestling, but I hope Rob Terry can polish himself up, improve his skills in every aspect and be a solid addition to the roster. A guy with that physique and no other talents is such a waste.

And send Zema to a stylist. Jewfro? How about no ...

I don't really care. Anaquia is just awful and should be let go, bring back homocide and be done with it, Mexican America will never work whereas a LAX return could really help the tag division.

Rob Terry has had multiple chances to improve and yet still sucks, it is very rare for a guy that big to be great in the ring but Terry is one of the worst I have ever seen. If 3 years of wrestling for TNA has not improved him then another 6 months in OVW will do nothing, cut your loses and dump this fool.

Devon is a 23 time World Tag Team champion dammit, show the man some respect! :p

I would like to see Garrett Bischoff sent there to train to get an unbaised view on whether he can actually wrestle, rather than getting his place on the roster because of his name. It is really pissing me off that Sting is promoting this kid as I never thought he would sell himself out like that.

Finally Xion should be put in some matches so we can assess what he can do in the X Division, he impressed me in his tryout matches so I am not too sure how much more training he needs. If Sorenson is getting his chance why not Xion as once Aries beats Kash who will he be fighting?

I think the OVW and TNA partnership could work but I would prefer that TNA just sign some talent that is ready rather than giving contracts and titles to those that clearly are not.
