Bad news, I'm afraid. I got told this afternoon that my application for a new job was turned down. I am shattered.

 

[CH David]

Shiiiiiit man. I'm sorry to hear that. What kind of job was it, and why did they turn you down?

 

[Dave]

It is a job as a tech advisor in the store I work for. It was a step up but I never got it, unfortunately. They never told me why I never got it either. All they said was that they were going with someone else. It's OK, I'll get over it, I'm sure.

 

[CH David]

Yeah, but you still have a job. Yay? lol. I have an escaped convict running around the Northwest Suburbs of Illinois, which is my area. I'm curious if I'll get shot in the next few days.

 

[Dave]

If you do, will you drag your festering carcass to a computer and let me know? I'll be on the plane in no time. To save you...

 

[CH David]

I'll be at the hospital, and yell at a nurse, "HEY bring me a computer! I need to tell my buddy Dave I got shot!" Or if I am conscious after he shoots me I'll call for help, hurry to the comp, send you a message, and go get fixed.

 

[Dave]

Yeah, that sounds like a fecking plan to me. What you getting up to tonight anyway?

 

[CH David]

Not sure, I'm either going to one friends house for a bonfire, or hang out with another and go cruise around and talk about shit. What are you up to Dave?

 

[Dave]

Hitting the pub to drown my sorrows and hitting it hard.

Sorry to hear about not getting the job, they be crazy fools. But I'm sure if a new position similiar opens later, you'll definitely get it

Was a day off today, felt slightly wasted really...but I got 3 DVDs today, Batman (original), The Wrestler and Hot Shots (had it but then someone lost it). I'm really in a dilemma about whether I should have got the duel set despite Part Deux being heavily edited...also, has anyone seen Max Payne?

Plans tonight, Batman/Wrestler and Derren Brown. Got work tomorrow, but it's only a 5 hour shift...

Any good? I've only seen about 5mins of it. My former housemates said it was worth a watch. Love the games though

It is okay. It could have been better, but I enjoyed it.

I've only got two down. I'm going to judge more when I get home, I have to run out for like 20 minutes. But it is fun to read and pick up on the information.

It is iffy right now. I'm currently working, and on my last hour and a half of an 8 1/2 hour shift. So currently hear it is 5:30 in the am. But it looks to be a promising Sunday. How is yours?

 

[Phoenix]

I rather not go into details, it's been awful. Only slight upside was working on Sat and we had a guy steal some photo paper

Ahh I'm sorry bud. I hope all finishes well.

I hope so too. Got long shifts all next week and I want to feel on the upside.
