I've been trying my best. Do you think you could PM me whenever it's my turn to RP? I can be a bit...scatterbrained at times, and I really don't want to be hit for no-showing.
I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it's hard to figure out what would be considered god-modding. Whenever I've RP'd in the past the rue I've always been told to follow is to not use other peoples' characters and do whatever I want with them. I can't make them speak, or react, or anything.
It'll take some getting used to.

I will indeed.
You can use other people's characters in your speech. You can call them out, you can say they suck etc. You can't make them perform ******io on you on you or make them say that they are inclined to look up child porn in their spare time. There is a line that shouldn't be crossed but you will know what that is when you get to writing your RP's. Also, it should be about you anyway, not about others. You'll do fine.
Also, I am watching the England game... now. I had to switch over to the English channel though because we are not getting it in Scotland.
I do not like them.
Blade, how do you feel about Ireland's chances? You should go and read the last couple of posts in the official world cup thread and have your say. I would love to hear them.

But the Irish team have just been missing something lately... I mean, if you watch our 2002 qualifying matches, we were fucking good. We were the reason Holland didn't qualify in 2002. And that was a big deal.
Now we're getting 0-0's against Montenegro... Hmmm.
I think we could beat France or Portugal... But an eastern european team would probably stop us...

You still have a pretty good team. You've got in my opinion the most depndable right back in the Premiership, and the captain of Tottenham. Is it that your relying too much on Championship-level players?
No, it's that everywhere seems to greatly overrate us. Did you see how we played tonight? It was awful... We're ranked 38th in the world for a reason, guys.
Also, Dave, Stephen Hunt is the best player in the Irish squad at the moment. McGeady just happened to be good against Italy.

Meh, world rankings aren't worth taking as much notice of as they are. For instance, Romania are 26th. Ireland are better than Romania.
McGeadys a good player, to me at least. Not as good as John O Shea.
I am biased as I am a United fan, and John O Shea is my favourite player, along with Berbatov.
