Dave, do us a favour and tell me what you think of what I just posted in the Premier League thread in the Sports Stadium. It's something I've been thinking about doing for a while now, and there it is. Hell, anyones welcome to look if you have an interest in the English Premiership.

And Blade, I do believe you would love the food Chicago has to offer.
It was very good. Read my rep comment and then let me know what you think of that. The point being that you have developed something good there and I like it a lot. As long as you do it weekly and maybe follow it up after the matches, that would be immense.

Thanks very much, your opinion is much valued. Football is the thing I know most about, could talk about it for hours, might as well play to my strengths.
I am the exact same, man. I almost died when I saw that we never had a thread dedicated to it but I sorted it out. I could talk about football for hours. Thta post would have been better and longer but I never really had a lot of time. Anyway, feel free to post whatever you want in the thread, mate. Even it's been done before, just post it anyway. It always helps to get a couple of perspectives about the same thing.

For some reason, when I go anywhere I always manage to find the best place to eat. And I've always wanted to go to Chicago, so when I do eventually get around to going there, I'll check out that place.
Soooo many places that even I haven't been to in and around Chicago. You may need a few weeks or a month for all of the places to eat. Each place has their own little twist on how they make certain foods.

Trust me, at about 7 tomorrow night, I'll be there offering my thoughts about whatever happened. I really want to make this a regular thing mate, predictions and analysis on a weekend.
Kind of like Match of the Day, only with less Gary Lineker.
Wow... I come from such a small country that the thought of one city being that huge is just really weird, if that makes sense... I mean, the entire state of Illinois is almost as big as Ireland.
I usually post on a Sunday or a Monday after everything has gone down. I work on a Saturday and this Sunday too. Monday will mean mine will be up probably.
Let me know when. Need to get some train passes. When dealing with downtown Chicago, The "L" (main train) is your friend to get from the suburbs to the city.
Obviously it isn't as big as New York, or as widely considered great like New York (for whatever reason lol) but damn there are a lot of things and places to go in the city, and even in the suburban areas. Always have great places.
Chicago is still 6 times bigger than Dublin, so it's a mind-blowingly huge place to me!
You would have a blast. Navy Pier is the shit. Ahh great memories from Navy Pier. 8th grade class trip, Post Prom, math field trip. Fuck man, I need to take my hopefully soon-to-be current girlfriend down there some time soon. Great tourist destination, and if you book a cruise, especially if you can get one late at night like I went on for Post Prom, get a great view of Chicago from the Lake. Fucking gorgeous.
