The Thing I hate most about Michael Cole is...

The think that I hate most about Michael Cole is that he seems to have little to no personality and yet is being groomed to take over Jr's job? I mean they have yet to put Cole with someone who doesn't overshadow Cole. His voice is weak, he lacks true emotion, and he looks like a weakling week in and week out. Hell, when a guy who looks like the Stay Puffed marshmellow man when he puts on sweats and has half his face frozen in time looks like he has more balls than you do, you need to quit. But hey, that's my two cents.

what i hate most. he's the same guy he was 10 years ago, same jokes, same lines, with nothing new, hell he even looks the same. lol hes one of the reasons i dont watch SD.

He acts like a 10 year old who thinks that girls are ''icky'', drugs and alcohol are evil, and that every superstar who acts even the tiniest bit selfish is immediately work of the devil. He's made out to be one of woosiest men you'll ever see, whilst J.R, The King, and even JBL seem about 4x as mature as he is, and have 4x as much wrestling knowledge.

I hate the guy.

If the WWE is smart, they will groom either Taz or Joey Styles to take over for Jr when he's said and done. I can't imagine Cole doing RAW and selling wat he does as good commentary.

Yes Buble I thoroughly hope they percieve the genius that is Joey Styles and ride him until the wheels fall off. The wheels of course being J.R.

You guys are pretty hilarious though and spot on in my opinion. The current theme in here seems to be Michael Cole's apparent immaturity on television. To me, despite the influxions of his voice, he just doesn't seem to really give a damn about wrestling and its all a giant facade. Which apparently he doesn't hide to well. However I rebut and ask this, for the younger generation if Cole stays around long enough will he eventually become the inexcusable legend due to longevity in general?

Michael Cole has had a wealthy of time to hone his trade and it hasn't change much since the days when The Rock used to belittle him and used him as a stae prop. I don't think that time will plish his technique as you were very accurate when you stated that you don't hear any passion for wrestling in Michael Cole's voice when he is performing his announcing duties. He sounds extremely serious, even when he is attempting to engage in frivolities. I could see a Scott Hudson or The Coach as the heir apparent. I would even go as far to say that they could probably bring in someone new and groom him to be the next JR. If it were not for the fact that Lawler is the resident heel on RAW, I would say to move JBL over to take over fr JR when it's said and dne. But we all know the odds Lawler retiring before Jr. is pretty much a non-existant occurance. The King will be there until the wheel him away on a funeral home stretcher. lol
