I was disappointed that Crimson's streak was ended. It could be worse though, at least Storm is someone who made sense to end it. Had someone like Hogan or Sting ended it then I would have gone all the way down to Nashville to visit TNA's corporate office to tell them in person just how awful of a decision that is. If I had been at work, I'd have clocked out immediately upon hearing the news and make the drive that very second. Nashville is a long way from Texas so I would need to make a ton of stops for gas and/or food, but when I get there I could make my point clear while speaking for many other fans so I would certainly have done it.... Ok, maybe not.... That doesn't mean I wouldn't have been BEYOND disappointed.
So where does the formerly undefeated Crimson go from here.... What I would LIKE to happen is to see him gain some momentum from victories to help him earn a title shot. If he held the Television or X Division Championship he may have a shot at still being relevant later on. The streak needed to last longer and be promoted better in my opinion. Crimson was undefeated for a very long time.... Yet he was NOT the most discussed wrestler in the world. Obviously, this is TNA, home of complicated booking at its finest.... Still.... I'm very concerned that he will fade into obscurity without the undefeated angle. Random filler feud or two and he will be gone, but I hope I am wrong. He has a ton of potential to be a part of the main event someday.
