I'll also make a bet on the field against the Miami Heat

Seems like easy money. Why not.
Barry Sanders is on the cover of Madden 25. That is back to back years that the Detroit Lions have the cover spot. Last year Calvin Johnson made all of the idiots who believe in the Madden Curse look even more stupid then they already are when he broke the single season receiving yards record. Now the greatest running back of all time is gracing the cover. The state of Michigan also has the NCAA 14 cover with U of M's Denard Robinson as the cover man.
Since we don't know each other this is nothing more than an E bet. If you win you get to change my name and avatar for a month (double if you take both bets) and I get to do the same to you. If you decide to take both and we split no one wins
I know I meant I liked my odds.
Name/Avy/Sig.
I'm disappointed that AP didn't get the cover. Sanders already got the spot back in 2000.
yeah umm, no he didn't. Madden was on the Madden 2000 cover (or Dorsey Levins who was on the European cover). Barry was relegated to a background role that was not official.I'm disappointed that AP didn't get the cover. Sanders already got the spot back in 2000.
I guess you want him to be injured, due to the Madden curse and all.
Bears fan?
As a bears fan I have to admit that AP is a beast. I don't want him hurt though, I like competition just as much as the next guy. Playing against a guy like that in the regular season helps us a lot in the playoffs. Speaking of playoffs lets fucking get back there
One thing I can say, Jay Cutler will finally have some protection next season after the acquisition of Jermon Bushrod and more importantly, Chicago signing Aaron Kromer as their offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Kromer has BY FAR been the best OL coach in the league for the past 4 years.
I've felt like the lack of protection for Jay has been the main thing holding Chicago back, and with that fixed next year, I see them winning the NFC North.

You takin both?
Michigan State's Adreian Payne will return to school for his senior year, source told Y! Sports.
The chance Sanchez gets released is slim to none. One horribe QB down Failchise to go.
The chance Sanchez gets released is slim to none.
1. They need a QB that is capable of playing if Geno is not ready to start week 1 (don't even think about David Garrard, he's been out of football for 2 years). Sanchez is the only guy they have.
2. The cap hit is ridiculous if they cut him.
He missed all of 2011 and all of 2012 with back and knee injuries, and David Garrard issues (as in nobody wanted him because he's David Garrard). He got hurt during BOTH preseasons, had surgery, and got cut. Before that, he was a mediocre at best QB. Pretty much on Sanchez's level.Garrard is perfectly capable (if inconsistant) to replace Failchise.

That's the guy you think can start if need be? Believe it or not Sanchez is perfectly capable of being the #2 guy in a competition. The guy that needs to be ready to start if need be needs to be actually able to play, which Garrard has proven unable to do.
This isn't about liking Sanchez. This is about having a QB on the roster that is capable of starting if Geno isn't ready. They have Geno Smith, Mark Sanchez, also-rands that are incapable of starting an NFL game (Matt Simms and Greg McElroy), and a washed-up never-really-was in Garrard.
