The Sports Bar

Just heard a great stat on Sportscenter. The Green Bay Packers never trailed by more then 7 points this season. That's 20 games combining regular season and playoffs and they were always within a touchdown. That's pretty damn good for a team that lost 6 games and had all of the injuries they did.

Yep, at least they were competitive. Three straight home games now against teams with under 20 wins. If they can't get a win in this stretch I have no clue when it's coming.

Please tell me someone else watched the Bruins/Canadiens game, that shit was bruuutal

137 penalty minutes. One Hundred and Thirty Seven.

Ray Allen will most likely break Reggie Miller's record for most 3-pointers made tonight against the Lakers in Boston, with Reggie as a commentator. Seems almost to fitting given the rivalry between the Lakers and Celtics, plus Miller calling the game.

Josh Hamilton gets his 12 million a year deal with the Rangers signing a two year deal worth 24 million. Although it's not 12 mill a year per se, as he will get 7.25 this year, 13.75 next year, and a 3 mill signing bonus.

I was watching the beginning of the second period, then I decided to play some Xbox so I missed the first line brawl. But then I heard about it and turned it back on in time for the second brawl. Man, hockey is great.

You watching this great game too Dave? Man that was an awesome moment, I got the chills just watching it and the crowd's reaction.

Honestly I might just watch this game instead of Impact tonight.

I just read that Josh Hamilton signed a 2 year $24 mil deal to avoid arbitration. Is 12 million a solid amount? Compared to other top players.

I was changing back and fourth. Definitely say him hit the game breaking 3, missed the tying one.

Well he was the one asking for 12 mill and got it over the course of 2 years now. If he stays at the pace he has been and stays healthy for the most part in 2 years he will get most likely get a 5 or 6 year 100 million contract.

Malkin had surgery today to repair his torn ACL and torn MCL, the bad news is his rehab will take about six months, which means his season is over (this should be know surprise as people have been expecting his season to be over since his injury was made public), the good news is he should be ready for training camp in Sept.

Great moment tonight for Ray Allen. It's a shame the Celtics are about to lose the game though. Nobody showed up to play other than Allen, unfortunately.

Still doesn't take away from that Ray Allen moment, though. I've been a huge fan of his since I was a little kid (in my old room at my mom's house there still lies my Ray Allen dunking on Tracy McGrady poster on my wall), so I was very, very happy for him and I'm very glad I was able to witness it.

Jerry Sloan resigning shocked the hell out of me. The guy is a legend and a great fucking coach. The Jazz without Sloan is something I can't really think of considering he has been there since before I was born.

The Cavs Win, The Cavs Win!!!

The place erupted like they just won the NBA title. Looks like HateHabs called it in Big Sexy's thread.

Congrats to the Cavs, now to start the next losing streak.

Not so fast, my friend. There's a chance the Cavs can win their 2nd in a row. Their next game will be at home against the Wizards. After that, I guess you can start expecting a losing streak again.

Chuck Tanner has passed away.

I was never a huge Pirates fan, but it's always a pain to hear of any human being passing away. I wish the best to all affected by this.

Look like I was right, as they just started the next losing streak, and ended the Wizards' road losses streak, by losing to them.
