OSU is staying undefeated in the Big 10 is pretty convincing as the best team in the nation but like Angel said the tourney will show if they're legit or not. I can't believe March Madness is only one month away.

Just browsed through the sports debate league posts. Some of my thoughts.
Surprised nobody mentioned these in the unbreakable records threads as there are fairly recent records. Federer's 23 consecutive Grand Slam seimfinal streak. It takes luck to stay injury free and also talent to make it there consistently.
Nadal's 81 match winning streak on clay courts. Unlikely to be ever repeated.
Beckham and Tiger Woods are the best known athletes in the world. Beckham is probably more famous due to his sports being watched by more people.
Best dynasty debate can be reopened after this current Barcelona team (soccer) ends its run. Winning with style and forcing opponents to change tactics and play 10 men behind the ball just to keep up with them. They are already being discusses as being one of history's best teams.
Olympics is more important to the world but more people will want to watch the World Cup.
Most well rounded athlete should be tennis players. They need stamina to keep running, speed to chase the ball, arm power to hit with power, good hand eye coordination to actually hit the ball. Also they are usually alone on the court so mental toughness is very important.

I was under the impression that he already released Vince Young, I think the only reason Bud Adams waited so long to get rid of Fisher was that he was waiting for all the coaching vacancies to fill first, so he wouldn't have to worry about Fisher coaching for another team while still paying out the final year on his contract

no one in their right mind will trade for VY. He's getting WAY too much money, and is WAAAAY too shit to be worth such an investment. He'll get released and I'd honestly b e surprised if he got another NFL starting job.
Kerry Collins is gonna be retiring, he's old as shit. I also expect them to draft a QB and sign a veteran guy to get some playing time this year (hopefully Chad Pennington, who's from Tennessee, and is a very good QB).

Should be tons of fun. Apparently, Mama Staal ordered Eric to pick his younger brother Marc. I'm also predicting that the Sedins will compete against each other for the first time. I'll be rooting for whichever team Elias is on, which I could see being Team Lidstrom.

Good job by the NHL last night. The draft was fun. Most importantly, they handled the whole "last pick" thing very well. Phil Kessel was picked last, but for being a good sport about it, the NHL will donate $20,000 to a charity of his choice and he got a new car. Now everyone will want to be the last pick.

I missed the whole Draft cause I was at work, I do plan on watching the Skills Comp. tonight though, I always found the Skills comp. to be more fun to watch than the actual All-Star game TBH

So in a move that shocks absolutely no one, the Philadelphia Eagles put the franchise tag on Michael Vick. It was their only choice. They need to make sure Vick has another awesome year before giving him a big-time multi-year contract. Plus Kolb is locked up for a pittance (less then 2 Million I believe), so they can afford to give Vick the average of the top 5 paid QBs.
