Disappointing playoffs. Won't give a shit who wins. If they could all lose and no champion be declared, I'd be fine with that. :suspic:

Shit, you gotta be kidding me. I know you were rooting for New England, but really, most of these games have been excellent games (NYJ/IND, NO/SEA, GB/PHI, NYJ/NE, BAL/PIT). 5 out of 8 games have been very good contests. Hell, even the first 29 minutes of the ATL/GB game was good.

Just because you don't like the results doesn't mean the playoffs have been a disappointment.

Oh, and 1 more thing. Since Super Bowl XXXIX, who has had more postseason wins, Tom Brady (5 playoff appearances) or Mark Sanchez (2 appearances)?

TRICK FUCKING QUESTION, THEY BOTH HAVE 4!!!!!

THE MUTHAFUCKIN SANCHIZE, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Outplayed the NFL MVP for the SECOND FUCKING TIME THIS YEAR, MUTHA FUCKAAAAA!!!!!!!!

Um, yeah it does mean it can be a dissapointment for me personally.

Doesn't matter if you can't seal the deal. Brady has done that. 3 times.

Nice attempt at trollin' though.

Hockey fans: Eric Staal and Nic Lidstrom have been chosen as the two captains for the all star game. Not surprised by Lidstrom, but I didnt see Eric Staal being named a captain. I cant wait to see who they pick and who's picked last.

Hmm.... Interesting, I thought Crosby was suppose to be one of the captains, maybe with his recent concussion issues, he decided it was best just to skip the All-Star game this year, and thats how Staal got the other "C"

There are reports that Crosby might boycott the game because he feels the league isnt doing enough to protect his players (a.k.a. I dont like that you didnt suspend Steckel for that hit in the Classic).

I love how the NHL is doing the All-Star Game. Those things usually bomb for the most part and this is a great way to make it fun for the fans and the players.

It's still possible that Crosby plays in the All-Star game, but with the uncertainty they decided not to vote him the captain.

Lidstrom and Staal are great choices though. Lidstrom for obvious reasons and Staal because he's a great young forward and the game is being played in Raleigh so there's that as well.

The story about Crosby boycotting the game was falsely reported. Crosby came out and said that wasn't true and that if he can play in the game he will. He is upset about his injury and the 2 hits he took, but he wouldn't boycott the game.

Devils/Penguins tonight and I'll be there. Crosby and Malkin are out so I just might be able to see them win. I think I've been to about 10 Devils games and I think I've only seen them win twice.

Wow. Not bad, I guess.

Did anyone else see the "Can't wait" edition of Sportscenter last night? They just kept on saying "Can't wait" a la Bart Scott and included it in just about every highlight.

Why the fuck does everyone keep thinking that the cold weather is going to work against GB this weekend?, do people not realize that GB plays ALL their home games outside, and that they actually excel in cold weather, seriously it has got to be the stupidest argument I have heard for why the Packers might lose this weekend

Its not stupid just because they play outside, it is stupid because they play in one of the coldest markest in the whole country. Chicago's average for January is 23.5F and Green Bay is 15.6F. So anybody who thinks the cold weather would harm the Packers is a moron, Green Bay is actually colder than Chicago and i am sure the Pack is used to it. Of course, I would like to know who is saying this..

Various ******s who are given shows on sports radio, some of them local, if anything the cold weather doesn't really benefit either team in this game, I think both Defenses are pretty close to even as well, I'll give Chicago the advantage when it comes to Special teams, seeing as how Hester is possibly the best Kick/punt returner in the game right now, as far as offense goes, I would have to give the edge to GB, they have the better QB & WR's, though Chicago has the more reliable RBs, all in all it's going to be a close game, the first team to make a mistake could, and probably will be the team that goes home the loser, but I don't see weather giving either team ANY real advantage here

The only reason people can actually say that is because Green Bay was so awesome Saturday in a Dome, it made people think that they wouldn't be that good outside. That is true, they wouldn't be that good. They would be 35 points good, not 48 or whatever it was.

It's stupid to think they would suck in the cold. The only 3 advantages Chicago has are Home Field, Special Teams (especially the return game), and running the football (Forte >>>>> Starks). Green Bay is the better team though, and should advance, creating a Super Bowl with 2 of Brett Favre's last 3 teams, because we can't have a Super Bowl without at least a little Brett Favre talk, right?

I personally want the Jets to play the Bears, because I want to see Rex Ryan start talking shit to Obama, which would be epic.

I would prefer a GB/NYJ SB, I just think it would make for the most entertaining game, the last thing I want is Chicago going to the SB, I have no desire to watch that team at all, if GB weren't who they're playing this week I would have prolly not even watch the game, would just skip it, like I did much of the Sea/Chi game from last week, also no desire to see Pit in another SB, fuck them and fuck Big Ben, dirty rapists shouldn't get to play in the SB, I do think we're going to see a upset in one of the two games, and I'm hoping it's the Jets upsetting the Stealers, cause Chicago vs. Pittsburgh would be fucking unbearable (no pun intended)

Before the season began, I had Steelers and Packers in the Super Bowl. The day before the championship game, I am now on the Bears' side because I'm tired all of the slurping everyone and their mother has been giving Aaron Rodgers. Let's look at three things.

1. Aaron Rodgers may have had a great game against Arizona last year but he lost that game as well. I don't want to hear about the defense letting him down. Fact of the matter is, he had the ball in his hands and he gave it up. Plain and simple.

2. Out of all the analysts I've seen or heard talking about the Bears/Packers game, maybe only one (I think it was Tim Cowlishaw) mentioned that just THREE weeks ago, Chicago held Rodgers to 10 points (3 through the third quarter). What has changed since then? Rodgers had a spectacular game the week before Chicago against the Giants. He's had a good game against Philadelphia and a great game against Atlanta. Atlanta's defense ain't Chicago's defense so I give Rodgers a 0% chance of replicating that success.

3. I laugh at how they try to discredit how much Cutler's being playing as of late. He's been making plays for the Bears as of late and the offensive line is tons better than what it was in the beginning of the season. I've heard people say Cutler will lose because he's never been in a game of this magnitude. News flash, Rodgers hasn't either.

Sorry Packer fans.
