Jason Campbell
Yards = 28th
Touchdowns = 27th
QB Rating = 20th
QB Rating 82.9 the NFL Average is 86.17 (I did the math of all staters or the ones that qualified. As I said below average)
1st % = 21st
20+ = 27th
Yards per game = 29th
Comp % = 29th
I hear this everywhere I go.QB rating is the most meaningless stat in terms of determining how good a quarterback is.
Campbell doesn't have a number 1 receiver. He's not great, but he's far from shit. The Raiders are 7-7 with a bunch of mediocre receivers and two good running backs... Vick,Manning and Brady aren't going anywhere. I'd take Campbell over ANY other potential FA QB...
But he isn't. Not his fault his whole team sucks, what does he have to work with?and his team is playing shit...
He played one game without him....McDaniels got fired after the KC game and Orton has only played one game before he got hurt.Orton was the one name on the list that I could have seen as possibly being better then Campbell, but if you look at the numbers, once McDaniels got fired Orton played like complete shit. I think he was a product of that system more then anything else. He was decent in Chicago but nothing great. I'd still take Campbell over Orton because Orton wouldn't be an upgrade.
As he should.Tebow's taking that job anyway...
