The Sports Bar

As long as the Lions take care of business and beat the Raiders and Chargers the next two weeks then they should get in. The Bears still have to play the Packers so at the very least that is 7 losses for them. The Cowboys and Giants still play each other twice so whatever the scenario is in those games (2 Cowboy wins, 2 Giant wins, or a split) is really irrelevant especially since the Lions hold the tie breaker with the Cowboys.

Aside from the Lions making the playoffs, of course, I think I want the Saints to get the 2nd bye and Lions to get the 6th seed and play SF. We played them tight and, while it was a loss, was the first game Best went out with.

Still gotta take care of the next 2 first. If the Raiders play the way they did today and the Chargers are eliminated by the time we see them I'll like our chances a bit more.

I agree completely. We should have beaten the Niners earlier this year and I'd rather take my chances with them over having a shootout with the Saints.

As far as the last two weeks go I'm definitely more concerned with San Diego even though it is at home. The Raiders have been awful lately and the Chargers can play with anyone in the league when they are at their best (which is rarely).

Thats why I hope they lose and are eliminated from contention because then Turner will be canned. The Raiders don't scare me with Palmer. If we could get a little bit more healthy on defense that'd be nice too. Getting Delmas, Houston + Smith for these last 3 games would be huge since our secondary and run games are depleated, although Alphonso Smith had a pretty great game.

Comcast Sports Net Chicago is playing game 6 of the 1992 NBA finals. I watched this game almost 20 years and I of course already know the outcome yet I'm marking out with every shot Jordan hits. Damn I miss MJ. Those were some fun times.

The Raiders wouldn't scare your cheerleaders.

I've been looking at old baseball cards on ebay just for the hell of it. I was curious to see if the famous Mickey Mantle rookie card was out there. Someone was selling one for $20,000. Shipping was $29.95. Damn if I'm going to pay you $20,000 for a baseball card the least you could do is ship it to me for free.

They played Game 6 of the '98 NBA Finals over here a few days ago. I turned off my TV right before the shot. WHY PLAY THAT ON TV?! WHY?!

So I guess NBC wanted to flex Tebow/Brady into the SNF game, however CBS decided they wanted the game, so they told him to NBC to fuck off :lmao:

I'll hurt your inner-Cubs fan. THAT'S REVENGE!

I'm so excited! I'm going to Atlanta to see the Thursday night Jags game! This is going to rule. I've always wanted to go to an away Jags game and I'm so happy I'm finally getting the chance!

I saw them play their very first game against the Oilers years ago and Steve Burlein was QB. It's crazy how he ended up being a solid QB for the Panthers. But without him playing terrible your team might not have seen the emergence of Mark Brunell or Jimmy Smith following Andre Rison forgetting how to run routes. I thought releasing David Garrad was terrible but realized Blane Gabbert will be solid.

No talk about Sam Hurd being arrested? Buying and distributing the amount of cocaine and marijuana he was moving is pretty hefty to think about.
