The Shield

Now I don't know if this has a thread any where else, if so please move accordingly.

I don't know if The Shield is shown over the Atlantic but over here in the US I find it to be one of the most entertaining shows around. It's your typical "not so typical" cop show. The show is based on Michael Chiklis who plays Vic Mackey, the leader of the strike team on the show. The strike team uses sometimes illegal tactics and whatever means necessary to maintain peace.
The show sometimes pushes the limits on what they can say/show in my opinion.

I just wanted to know others opinions on this show.

The Shield is awesome. Best cop show around. And I'd even include The Wire in that. It's not superior to The Wire. But it's easier to watch, and the characters are easier to identify with.

Like most series' though each season is getting worse as they go on. But it's still of a high standard now.
