Oh, I already knew the reason for it, but the carelessness with which the English language is spoken these days is maddening to me.It's because "I've" has turned into "I" in a lot of American accents. "I have just seen it" would make sense. That doesn't mean it's ok, but there's the reason for it.
I hear/see that one often around here too.I suppose the British equivalent mistake is "could of" as in "I could of won the race, but I never".
