The severe weather that hit Southeastern Ohio Thursday night...

Went right through my area. 5 tornadoes were reported within 20-30 miles of my house. An E3 strength tornado touched down roughly 20 miles from my house and some of the storm damage was no more than 10 miles northeast of me and heading the direction of where I live. My schools Jr. High football team were playing at the school where the first tornado touched and had to outrun three of them on the way home. Our volleyball team was trapped in a locker room for an hour while the weather passed through and little villages north of my hometown are heavily damaged and have no electricity.

Luckily there was no damage where I live, nothing even happened weather wise. I feel lucky to be alive right now.

Apparently, there was a huge storm that hit the Tri-State area on Thursday. Heavy winds, torrential downpours, a lot of lightning, and even reports of a tornado in New York City.

...I slept through the whole thing.
