The return of the Warrior

Mighty NorCal

SHALL WE BEGIN?
:lmao:

Very shocked the ol boy SlyFox hasnt started this thread. I read on the WZ news site recently that Ultimate Warrior will be returning to wrestling in for the first time in over 10 years, to face off against Orlando Jordan, for some fed in Spain.

Personally I cant think of anything MORE entertaining than a 45 year old (at least??) Ultimate Warrior wrestling for the first time in 10 years. Not sure how couldve keot his physique up, and ten years is a LONG time. And knowing Warrior, he probably doesnt think he has to even practice before he does it. Itll probably just end up being a 30 second squash anyway, if you ask me... Will he look ridiculous?? Does he still have a physique?? Will his preformance be laborious??

Thoughts guys....

I can't wait for the promos for this match if there are any. Warrior has gone even more insane lately than he was before. Wasn't Orlando Jordan found to be bisexual? Imagine if Warrior finds this out. I smell a speech coming. Could be interesting to see him in the ring again, just for nostalgia sake though.

I highly doubt we will get to "see" it. Maybe you could find it on you tube, but besides that IDK, its getting put on by some fed in spain. It probably wont be anything worth watching anyhow, a clothesline, a shoulder block, a splash, some rope shaking.

Wonder how many roids he is gonna be popping to prepare for this. Or will he be delusional enough to think a beer gut will be acceptable.

I actually am excited about it. Warrior may not be the best in the ring (understatement), but he could get the energy going. Granted that was almost 20 years ago when he was at him best. Will he be fat and for the most part out of shape? Yes. Will he be a shell of his former self? Yes. But this man is a part of my childhood and part of my foundation as a wrestling fan. I really can't wait. When is the match again?

Not sure. you would have to look up the article on WZ news site, its been within the last week. And the fact that he is such a part of your childhood, might make you not want to see it. Seeing him looking all ridiculous, out of shape, and preforming like shit, would be terrible for you. Just like if UT went away, and then came back, looking fat and ridiculous. It would be terrible for me to see. Hogan is ok, becuase he comes back in awesome shape every time. Dont know how things are gonna look with UW

Yowza. I can't believe he's hurting for money that bad. I guess his "motivational" speaker routine didn't exactly pan out with his lovely diction skills. He may end up still being in decent shape seeing as he talked some smack in an interview two years ago where he stated that he can still squat 425 for 25 reps amidst a tirade against Vince and Hunter. Anyways, he's a shit wrestler who's had enough good matches to count on one hand and still not include a thumb. I loved him when I was a kid...but then again I also thought He-Man was fine art, so go figger. I'm still in awe that he had the balls and accompanying stupidity to actually change his legal name to Warrior Warrior. Sheeeeiiit.

The video of Warrior and Orlando Jordon is up on youtube. He looks pretty bad trying to shake the ropes like he used too. I will still pay attention to this story even though it's not on the top of my list. Now if this was a wwe comeback that would really turn some heads.

Ah i remeber the good old days when i was kid watchin the warrior funny enough i like him better than hogan in da early 90's.shame what happen to him and now hes very bitter.would it break my childhood to watch this match.this match has not got classic writen on it at all last time i remember oj was very less talent wrestler at the time not seen him when he left so he could hav improve. If i had the choice i would go to see it.

does any1 know where in spain is it

The way old Spawnie looks at it is like this. The Warrior may be the biggest ego maniac ever in the history of wrestling, but he does have a name and he does have legacy. Did you hear the way the crowd popped for him when he started to "Warrior" up? That had future (and don't ever say never) WWE Hall of Famer written all over it.

Hell, he may not be as spry or as limber as he used to be, but he will still be able to put some asses in some seat on this one. So I say this. If they man can get someone to pay him a grip to get in the ring, then he should take it. Cuz it's all about that Money money. yeah yeah. That money money. Yeah yeah. lol

I can't believe I'm saying this but seeing The Ultimate Warrior return is very exciting. I saw his little return on youtube and sure he may not be as quick as he once was, and his timing is definitley off, and he may not be as built as he used to be. Then again. what do you expect hes been out of the business for ten years. He seems to have kept himself in respectable shape.

If he decides to take this seriously and train for his match it could bring back some buzz in the world of wrestling. Then again he may not care at all in true Warrior fashion and try to run the show like a big shot. This is seriously interesting and i hope it pans out well. To me it just brings back a good sense of nostalgia if done the right way.

Like the rest of you, I'm actually curious to see how he does. On the Youtube video Warrior looks like he needs to do a lot of work to get that ring rust off. I don't exactly consider him a great wrestler, but I did grow up watching him. I wonder if he still has it? I bet that joker can't gorilla press his opponent like he used to do in the old steriod days!

I thoroughly enjoyed the clip on youtube. Even though it didn't look the best, I got goosebumps when he shook the ropes. I don't mind if it is just a bunch of punches and clotheslines, I still love it for the character.

Oh, and what a great smile.

someone post the motherfuckin video for goodness damns sakes....

I would really like to see. And I very highly doubt he will have a major run ANYWERE, just becuase its fairly well known how absolutely crazy and delusional this dude is, and how much of a pain in the ass he is to work with.

Here is the Promo video. i dont think the match has happened yet.

The Ultimate Warrior's Return Promo

Does anyone else find it Ironic that Mr. Queering doesnt make the world work is facing a Orlando Jordan who is a Bisexual???

And Norcal If you couldnt tell those cheers were piped in. The people werent even up off there seats. I really hope this warrior return at least has some point to it but i doubt it will.

What the FUCK???

It looked like he had no joints...his arms were flopping all over the place. He looked assinighn, really. The only cool part at all was him semi morphing from a regular dude back into the warrior. Damn, you see the crowd??? Whatever promotion that is, it looks like its pretty serious buisness LOL.

And dude...he needs the fucking music...he HAS to have the damn music....

In the interview with the Ultimate Warrior posted today he mentioned wrestling Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania 25. Obviously this will never happen, but you have to admit that alone would be reason to order the ppv.

If he did make a return in the WWE, do you think the fans would cheer him? I think they probably would, but he is generally regarded as insane today.

good lord in that promo he looks like a fish outta water flopping around
i think he was trying to sell them stomping him or maybe he was trying
to call the moon planets and all that crazy stuff he says or maybe he just
spazed out
with that said i've heard TNA wants this guy and i honestly dont see
why it aint like its gonna generate that much interest and knowing him
he'd probably want a 1,000,000 dollar contract with a guranteed world title
and 75% of all merchandise plus a live band to play his music
the guy aint worth that im putting money on his match against OJ sucking
it looked to me that he has a pretty big gut on him now and he couldnt sell a
move if he had too and on top of that the guys a lunatic
TNA should stay far away from him
