Amarillo del Bosque Verde
The straightedge Irishman.
I'm pretty disappointed to see this match go. I always thought it was entertaining and pretty exciting to watch. I don't get what's so complex about it.
1. You must pin/submit your opponent to get a chance to hook the belt.
How is that complex? Pinning/Submitting your opponent is in almost every match.
2. You must go to the penalty box for 2 minutes if you're pinned.
I think it adds to the drama of the match, and besides, it's like an elimination match. Just you're allowed back in if you're pinned.
3. You must climb in a ladder and hook the belt to win the match.
Pretty much a ladder match, just reversed. Some reverse matches don't work at all (i.e. reverse battle royal), but this doesn't seem so bad to me. As another user stated, people climb up ladders to hang things every day. So climbing a ladder to hang a belt for the win just seems normal just like climbing a ladder to take down a belt.
