Seeing as IC isn't here, and supposedly he's leaving me in charge when he's gone, so JW Red then Sparky?

Got a beam sitting next to me, just wondering what JW blue was.

Damn kids.

Okay, welcome to Johnny Walker 101. I'm Dr. IC25, and I'll be your professor. Lesson #1 - the order of Johnny Walker, from lowest to highest.

Johnny Walker Red

"Red Label" is Johnny Walker's basic scotch blend. It generall sells for $19.99 - $27.99 per 750 ml bottle, depending on the liquor store. It's a blend of approx. 35 whiskeys. It can be sipped straight, but it is meant to be a mixing scotch, meaning it is usually used paired with a cola. In fact, the company that makes JWR has a pre-mix sold in cans, called "Red & Cola." Winston Churchill used to drink JW Red mixed with Cola.

Johnny Walker Black

"Black Label" is a higher level scotch blend than Red Label, as it is made up of 40 blended whiskies, each of which are aged no fewer than 12 years. Average price for a 750 ml bittle ranges from $28.99 - $37.99. This tends to be a scotch that can better stand on its own - not as sweet or malty as the Red Label, but with slightly more of a smoke quality to it. I prefer JWBlack as an "everyday scotch (not that I drink every day) and prefer it on the rocks. Terrific aroma - very powerful. Zakk Wilde's "Black Label Society" is named after this scotch.

Johnny Walker Gold

"Gold Label" is yet another step up in the JW hierarchy, and can sell anywhere in the $65.00 - $85.00. This is a blend of only 15 whiskeys, but all are single malts and all have been aged between 15 and 18 years. This scotch is a treat - extremely smooth and complex. It can be enjoyed on the rocks, as well as neat (no ice or additives) or wet (with a little spring water). Extremely versatile and aromatic.

Johnny Walker Green

"Green Label" is a pure 15 whiskey blend, also of single malts, including such high end names as Talisker and Cragganmore. The price truly does range, usually in the $80 - $100 range. This is a stronger blend, with a proof of 86, as opposed to the former 3 blends which are proof of 80. This is a straight 15-year aged, vatted malt. "Vatted malt" means that no grain whiskey is used, making it a purer product. This scotch is best enjoyed neat and at room temperature or with some water to cut it a touch.

Johnny Walker Blue

The top of the mountain in JW Scotch. Each bottle made is given a serial number for tracking, and each gets its own box lined with silk. Each of the scotches used in the blend are 20+ years old, and a bottle of JW Blue is usually $179 - $249 each, sometimes more. Blue label only started being produced in 1992, after the blends were aged properly. It's generally to be enjoyed neat, as to capture the full essence of the blend. I've often enjoyed this scotch with a very good cigar, such as a Montecristo #2.

Class dismissed.

Ferbnutz, I expect you to hold this pub to a higher standard. If Sparky ever askes for Johnny Walker with Lemondae, call the bouncer (NorCal) over and have him toss Sparky out.

Sparky, I love you and all, but...

Very well, I might need some kind of PM for what I can serve or can't although.

I should serve D-man anything he wants right? would be idiotic to bounce him me thinks.

Use best judgement. You'll learn. I have faith in you. I'll try to not slap you anymore this week.

Yeah, he's "on the list." But still, if he orders a Bud Light or some shit like that, we still don't carry it.

You just lost major brownie points with me.

It's not that I don't want to, I simply can't, I don't get the normal hangover sick, I've been told by my doctor ever since I was a little child never to drink.

Hell I don't even get laughing gas because of the drunken effect it can give.

Any World Cup specials on, IC?

I heard about the introduction of 1 liter beer cans in Denmark due to the world cup, so I'm guessing the IC solution is a 1 liter version of your favorite drink?

A one litre glass of Guinness? That sounds excellent but also dangerous

Small doses of sipping good sir, small doses.

It's like the Cult Cola, it's a Scandinavian drink, supposedly the worlds strongest Cola based on caffeine and sugar containment, it's like Red Bull really, except, you know.. not banned in the majority of countries.

Fucking delicious drink, but don't drink too many.

So shall I pour one? if I can find any 1 liter glasses *starts searching*

When I go over to Ireland they're very friendly, actually.

Unless your name is Oliver Cromwell, you'll be treated well. It's like us and the French (or Germans). We don't like them, but you wouldn't be a complete dick to a Prench person, just because they had the misfortune to be born in France.

I hate Leeds, but I wouldn't be mean to Becca just because she's from there as another example.
