working with inferior talent tends to do that to you, beth is used to working with girls that are in her league or better than she is, half of the women in WWE can't even keep up the pace with Phoenix, so instead she has to go slow. I don't blame her for botching every now and then

LOL he won't. Someone told me PWI gave that a 4 1.5/5 rating so I'm not the only one that thinks it's good. And I must say the Diva forums are exploding with compliments for it so it's all good. =] Great to hear Melina's name being chanted.

Oh, well they are right. That fight was an abomination. To put it in wrestling perspective, it was the equivilent of the Main Event of a WWE PPV being DH Smith vs Vladimir Kozlov. Then, when Kozlov wins, they talk like he just beat HHH.

The ref did everything he could to give Kimbo the win. Thompson (the nobody) took him to the ground, got a dominant position (side control, where you are laying on top of them from the side. You can elbow there head with them having little defense), and the ref stood them up after 20 seconds. Then to top it off, when Kimbo was out of gas, the ref stopped the fight when Kimbo landed three punches. Thompson stood up and argued with the ref while Kimbo fell to the ground. It was bad.

Kimbo attracts the wrong type of fan. He's a unskilled brawler. The negative response to his fight, which was heavily hyped, is bad for the sport.
Plus, Elite XC is the ROH of MMA. Me hearing everyone rant about how great Kimbo is, is the same feeling you and Sly get when you here everyone talk about how great Bryan Danielson is.

I'm confident any UFC heavyweight would beat him. The Couture's, Fedor's, Nogeria's, and even Mir's level of fighter would destroy him. No contest. He gassed in one round. He was fortunate Thompson did too. If he gassed after one round in the UFC, he'd be disposed of quickly.

Oh ill be the first to admit he would probably get destroyed in a UFC fight, no doubt, He isnt great, he is huge and crazy and punches the shit out of people. But like i said. Its a character and a story, that people are drawn to.
