Shit. If only WCW was putting on those types of matches towards the end. They might still be around. AMong other Backstage shit but still

I gotta be honest, and I might be standing alone with it.. but I loved W.C.W. toward the end. The Ric Flair-Scott Steiner group was ******ed, but I truly loved the New Blood v. the Millionaire's Club.

They had some of the greatest stacked cards for Nitro, ever! Each week you'd see Hogan in a match, or Flair. And you'd see great matches like Sting v. Vampiro, or Jarrett v. Booker T., or gimmick matches. I loved that time.

W.C.W. was dead to me from July of 1999 until roughly November of 1999 when Bret Hart came back.

If somehting like this had been on tv, I would have forgotten WWF existed. The guy I was there with kept waiting on an NWO run in, but it never came. It was great. One of i think 3 clean finishes all ngiht long.

Amen brother. WCW was figuring things out by then. Can you imagine if they had done this 2 years earlier? We wouldn't be watching Raw, we'd be watching Nitro.

Your not alone. that shit was epic. If only it wouldve been booked better. Them motherfuckers Put Sting in a gay ass Fued with Vampiro. That kind of shit pisses me off. Plus the fact that they turned goldberg heel. yeah that went over well.

I loved the Sting/Vampiro feud. The thing I loved the most was the outrageous SHOVE Lance Storm received when he won the Mayhem, Cruiserweight & United States Championships in a 3-week span. Then Storm v. Booker T. for the World Championship.. do you realize how much I hoped and damn near THOUGHT Storm was gonna pull that off.

I was pissed when he didn't, but I loved the SHOVE (not push, but shove) that they gave him. I was a huge fan of Kidman too, so while him v. Hogan was completely mismatched.. I was happy that they gave him a big focus.

Slamboree of that year (2000) was one of my all-time favorite W.C.W. p.p.v.'s.. It had Lex Luger v. Buff Bagwell, Shane Douglas v. Ric Flair, Curt Hennig v. Meat, Kanyon v. Mike Awesome, that Triple Cage Main Event, Sting v. Vampiro & Hogan v. Kidman. It WAS STACKED!

I just always think about that Horrible Inferno Match. WCW was awesome though. Vince Russo has gone crazy lately but when he was booking WCW he was pure gold. But thats just me

So I was doing the WOTW and I found every Nitro from May of 2000, and a ton of Raws from 2000. I am in Heaven. It's the go home show before the Triple cage with Arquette as champion, and Scott Hudson just dropped a Shockmaster reference!!!

The fact that the Celtics are playing YET another game 7 against an inferior team, due to the fact that they can't win on the road is fucking pathetic.

Also, why the fuck was this thread mangled?
