The Pointless Thread

They Warriors were over .500 and far better than the Hawks :lmao:

If Boston loses, wow.....what a choke. Worse than their Super Bowl choke.

The Patriots didn't choke, losing doesn't = choking. Jesus Wes stop saying that, it's not true. Now the Cowboys choked.

So when the Patriots lose, it's not choking but when Dallas does it is?:lmao:

Could you be a bigger hypocrite?

:icon_rolleyes:

So the Patriots go to the SB and play a good tight game and thats a choke, but when the cowboys get knocked out in the first game and play terrible thats not a choke? Riiiiiight. :icon_rolleyes:

Lord.

Yes DIAR, it is a choke when the Pats lose after playing a good tight game and then ALLOWING 14 POINTS IN THE 4th QUARTER, AND BLOWING A 14-3 LEAD

No, choking is throwing an INT with :09 seconds left costing your team the game. Thats Tony Chokmo's job, choking is based on how you play, and the Patriots played great for most of that game, while the Cowboys played great for 1 quarter. :icon_rolleyes:

well what else was he supposed to do?? throw it out of bounds on 4th down??

Not throwing it to the wrong team would have been better. The cowboys have choked 2 years running in route to 6 straight playoff losses. So Cowboy fans running thier mouths about choking is hypocritical.

So the Cowboys loss what all put forth on one player? His WR's weren't getting open in that game, and half assed routes. Hence why he threw it into the endzone. What else was he going to do DIAR? Take the sack?

The Cowboys played great for a half. They were outcoached in the 2ng half. Had nothing to do with certain players. The blocking schemes were hideous.

As for the Patriots, you claim the played "great" the whole game. Last I knew playing "great" usually equals a win. They played average not great, don't get mixed up, and 18-0 teams don't play average against a completely average team that got hot at the right time, from the NFC.

Also, if they played great the whole game, how do you blow a 14-3 lead in the 4th Q?

What the fuck ever, dude your team had the lead, they had the game in control and then blew it in the forth fucking quarter after allowing 14 points, that's called choking, I can't beleive you are still in denial about this, the Pats choked plain and simple, Favre did the same thing, he choked, see there is no shame in admitting it, it happens, to deny it is just plain foolish

everytime someone scores, it isnt in the superbowl with the perfect season on the line, and it isnt generally aftersomeone gets beat THAT badly.....

He choked, they called a bad play. You even pointed out WR's that were supposed to be good got owned by a team you called bad! The Giants flat out owned your WR core and shut you down in the 2nd half, no way around that.

Thats an excuse and you know it. The cowboys went in there and played terrible, the Giants shut you down in the 2nd half on offense and most of that team didn't step up.

You are the one mixed up, you seem to think losing = choking unless you are the Cowboys. Why are you making excuses for the cowboys when both the patriots and cowboys lost to the same team? The Patriots shutdown the Giants for most of that game well into the 4th. I don't know what goes thru your mind, but teams can play great and lose all the time.

Also, if they played great the whole game, how do you blow a 14-3 lead in the 4th Q?

Get out played? They barely escaped with a win the first time they played the Giants in week 17. That was a hard played game and the Patriots really could have lost. Which is a common tale as plenty of teams could have beaten them most of the Ravens. Some of those wins were just plain luck. The Patriots were not as good as their record seems to indicate.

Once again for the peeps who obviously didn't watch the Cowboys game. *Points at DIAR*

1) We did indeed choke as a team. I've said this many times, what I have disagreed on is the blaming of the loss on Tony Romo. Which is FAR FAR FAR from accurate.

Reasons why we lost:

A) Special Teams

B) Outcoached.

C) Dropped passes on big downs.

D) Lack of composure.

E) Mindless penalties in key situations.

Need I go on?
