Whatever Justin. AIC is good, very good, but not better than Nirvana.

Enough said.

:lmao:

compare a song like Angry Chair, or Man in the Box, or Junkhead, or Rooster to anything of Nirvana's stuff. Its painfully evident that Staley was easily twice the song writer that Cobain was, fuck most of Nirvana's songs even sounded repetitive in some area lyrically

Meh, I got mixed up with the NBA, and always get mixed up with playoff formats.

But I'm not mixed up here, Nirvana > AIC. Hands down.

yes because this

I don't care...
Care if I'm old
I don't mind...
Mind, don't have a mind
Get away...
Away from your home
I'm afraid...
Afraid of a ghost

Even if you have
Even if you need
I don't mean to stare
We don't have to breed
We can plant a house
We can build a tree
I don't even care
We could have all three
She said...

is definitely better songwriting than this

Sitting on an angry chair
Angry walls that steal the air
Stomach hurts and I dont care

What do I see across the way
See myself molded in clay
Stares at me, yeah Im afraid
Changing the shape of his face

Candles red I have a pair
Shadows dancing everywhere
Burning on the angry chair

Little boy made a mistake
Pink cloud has now turned to gray
All that I want is to play
Get on your knees, time to pray, boy

I dont mind, yeah
I dont mind, i-i-i
I dont mind, yeah,
I dont mind, i-i-i
Lost my mind, yeah
But I dont mind, i-i-i
Cant find it anywhere
I dont mind

Corporate prison, we stay
Im a dull boy, work all da y
So Im strung out anyway

Loneliness is not a phase
Field of pain is where I graze
Serenity is far away

Saw my reflection and cried
So little hope that I died
Feed me your lies, open wide
Weight of my heart, not the size

Pink cloud has now turned to gray
All that I want is to play
Get on your knees time to pray

Nirvana doesn't even touch AIC

Really all you need to own of Nirvana's stuff is In Utero and Greatest Hits, if you got them two you're pretty well covered, can't say the same about AIC, I have every single AIC album and every single one sounds different, and all are great, they never get old, I can't remember the last time I've popped in any Nirvana, in fact I think the last time I heard a Nirvana song was off of Otep's the Accesion when they covered Breed, and they made the song sound better than Nirvana IMO, and Nirvana didn't do a bad job with the song by any means

For a band with the reputation of Nirvana's Breed was extremely poor written. A fucking 4 year old could write a song with more depth than that. And breed wasn't the only song that looks like it was written 2 minutes before they put the album together, Lithium and Come as you are are the same way.

Listening to Lithium. Owns.

Listening to it now, it's shit when compared to Man in the Box or Them Bones or Would

the only thing that makes it enjoyable is that Kurt Cobain was a talented guitar player, other then that, the lyrics contain about as much depth as a song written by some shit indie rock group

Not really. Sound is all I care about really. Could give 2 shits about lyrics if it isn't rap or country.

If its sound you care about then sure, AIC and Nirvana are very comparable because they sound similar, I think personal taste would still play a role on who you would like better though.

Johnny Cash is a fucking god. And yes, I liked him waaaaaay before the movie. Hate stupid fucks that think that.

or stupid fucks who say "OMAAA GAAA I LIKE HIM TOOO" and u ask them to name their favorite song and they respond with "ring of fire"

.....as if they knew ANY other songs beside that...
