The Pointless Thread

This year more than ever no team has it on ice, with Bynum I thought the Lakers would win it, without him, I'm not so sure, its going to be extremely competetive.

Anyways, the Stanley Cup Playoffs and NBA Playoffs are now here, great time to be a sports fan, go AV's and Nuggets. (Hopefully one will make it out of the first round!)
 
OH...that reminds me...

Wheybolic is buy one get one half off right now, AND I used my GNC card, so I ended up getting TWO tubs for 68$

so, in principle, I payed 8$ for one of them!!!
 
so i just saw the trailer for NCAA 09, and i must say it looks impressive
made me laugh too, saw a notre dame player doing the heisman pose right in front of Boston Colleges mascot, and got it done right back to him, haha

Thats ignoring the FACT the Lakers have a higher winning % with just Gasol than just Bynum. Stop the Bynum love, he isn't that good yet and Gasol is what made all the difference this season, the record proves that.


And the Celtics being 2-0 against the Lakers means nothing as both those wins were BEFORE Gasol got there, they haven't played them after so that record is a moot point.

i usually do that shiz myself, not the whole roster mind you, but some
i wouldnt trust sending my hard drive to someone just for rosters

Thats the regular season, the Nuggets have been playing great lately, they are a much better team then they were earlier in the yaer.


Yes, the Lakers are better with just Gasol that with just Bynum, but they would be better with BOTH. That is what I am saying, if they had both they would be heavily favored and my pick, but without both Bynum and Gasol playing, they have a good chance, but I dont have as much faith in them. That is all I am saying.

You just go out and buy an extra memory card then mail it. I never got mine back and if I did, I bet I accidently trashed it :lmao:

And ROFL DIAR. 3-0 in the regular season means nothing now. It's the playoffs.


None of them have beaten in a 7 game series because they haven't played a series yet. I bet they will make in to the WCF, but they won't beat the Spurs ;)

I wouldn't say they are better now, the Nuggets have lost to some rather bad teams they should have and could have beat.

Of course they would be better with both, but you did say you had faith in them with Bynum and now you don't. I am not sure how they will play with both as neither have played together yet. He should be back soon and then we see how well he plays, but I feel he maybe milking his injury.
 
What I meant was when it was believed that Bynum would be back by now, so they would have both of them, thats when I thought they were a virtual lock to win it all, when it was believed Bynum would be back to play alongside Gasol.
