ROFL, I forgot about the Pirates. Poor, poor Pirates. Will they ever accomplish anything again? I feel bad for Pirates fans every time the season starts. Just like I'd feel bad for Devil Ray fans if there were any.

The NL is just a weak league. All the power is in the AL as usual.

Yeah but that has more to do with how rabid Pittsburgh sports fans are (as I'm sure you can attest to) then the quality of the team. Pirates fans will come out every year and attend the games, knowing full well their team won't go anywhere that year. Kinda like the old Mets of the 60s. Fans just go to enjoy the game of baseball.

Atleast thats my take on it. Pirates have never had good management to begin with though.

But a lot of my friends go, and a lot actually hold season tickets.

People dont understand, if you dont go to the games the Nuttings dont make money. Therefore if you make a stand, he'll need to do something to make money. Ala, get players and actually spend money.

The Pirates as a whole dont care, and that was easy to see when they drafted that pitcher who wasn't even a first rounder. So they drafted him, and missed out on possibly the best catcher in the draft in years.
