Ah I see. As far as traveling, you'd go over the Appalachin mountains. Other than that, you would hit eastern Kentucky, the (and I wish this wasn't official) meth capital of the world. The people there are scarier than anything you've seen overseas. They make Deliverance look tame. Other than that, not much other than some very solid scenery. If you want to take in the Shenendoah Valley, which is very beautiful in the right time of the year, swing up into Virginia and then west over the mountains.

A few tips: don't get out of your car, period. Drive quickly. It's short but frightening. I'm scared of that place due to my lack of accent. They're of the shoot first, rob second, ask questions later variety.

Also, if the drive is an issue, not sure how well this would work but there is an airport in Lexington, about 10 minutes from my house.
