People like Long over Gholston because of Longs motor in terms of effort. Long goes one hundred percent every play and you can tell when you watch him play. Gholston on the other hand tends to take games off, one game he looks like a star, the next game he doesn't really do anything. Long is the safer pick, both should have good careers, but Long's effort puts him over the top. Not to mention Gholston is more of a Linebacker in the NFL.

That's exactly why i would take Gholston though, he can play in a three-point stance, or standing up as a linebacker. I mean sure the taking games off is pure crap on his part, hopefully he gets that right. I don't think Long could be a good linebacker though, and in today's game people want athletes that can play standing up, and in a three-point stance, it gives them more freedom to do creative things.

Its a difference of opinion, although Gholston has more upside, he is also very risky, Long is the real deal according to alot of people, going to be really good, I am not saying one is better than the other because I really dont know who is better, they are so close.

Either way, they were struggling a few games before, and Granderson is that spark the Tigers need to take the lead in the AL Central. You may not be making a big deal, but it just shows that Granderson is one of the most valuable players on the Tigers.

Tigers = Central winners, you never had anything to worry about to begin with RKO, it's only April. The White Sox do look better though, and the Indians haven't gotten going.
