The Pointless Thread

well if im that down low about my personal life, there are prolly reasons for that. And like I said anyone who really wants to know, there is a rather obvious, easy way to find out all one could ever want to know.

And alll will be known someday. I have a set time in my head when ill talk freely about whatever.

Oh I love late night infomercials. "This is the infinity razor. It will never go dull. Call now and we'll send you three of them!"

I can't seem to break away from the "Sex Talk" infomercial..

(Guy)- "Ladies, does size matter?"

(1st Woman)- "Well, not at first but after a while its just like 'eh, okay that was nice.'"

(2nd Woman)- "I agree, *insert guy name here* just hasn't been 'what' I needed, if you know what I mean."

Both ladies laugh.

Guy)- "Well what would you both say, if I told you there was a revolutionary pill that could solve all your troubles?!?"

(1st Woman)- "Could I get two?"

(2nd Woman)- "Agreed! I'll take a whole box!"

Both Ladies & the Guy laugh.

Oh I figured you had reasons for not really letting us know. Didn't mean anything by it.

I've seen that one on but never sat and watched it. I love the ITV ones and Kevin Trudeau is my hero. Lying criminal, but still my hero.

So if they are only popular with there fans as you say, the same thing goes for Romo, the only reason he would sell more merchandise is because he plays for the Cowboys who have the biggest fanbase. Vick was popular because of how he played the position, he revolutionized it, well at least it looked that way at the time. I am not doubting Romo's abilities, he is one of the best QB's in the NFC, but thats not saying much, considering the best two QB's are in the AFC. I would rank Romo in the top 5 in the league, probably third: 1. Brady 2. Manning 3. Romo 4. Palmer 5. Big Ben. That is what really matters isn't it, how talented the QB is. The whole popularity thing is overrated by any means, more than likely your favorite QB is the QB of your favorite team, so it should be that the Cowboys are the most popular NFL team, not Romo is the most popular QB.

Or it could be both, which it is.

Now, moving on from that agreed on your top 5 list. Best I've ever seen on this forum although Palmer is like a fish out of water in Cincy, plays well but jesus christ they can't win anything with that atrocious defense, and the offense really never lives up to potential. After Ben's season last year, I'd probably have him over Palmer though.

Meh...I wouldn't mine having Palmer on the Packers, as long as we don't have to give up some who's young and good in return

and for the record last season I saw more people wearing Romo jersey's than Manning or Brady where I live

You have Rogers Justin LOL....

I still have that feeling that Pack will have the hangover like the Broncs, Cowboys, 49ers and Dolphins did after Marino, Aikman, Young and Elway.

:lmao:

Could be some great shit for Viking fans.

That's what I'm afraid of:(

and the last Rodgers has me kinda nervous, the last two times he's played any meaningful amount of time in a game, he's gotten hurt and was out for a couple weeks, I would feel better if they had another QB on the roster to fall back one

Them two are close, but I still say that Palmer is the better QB, he is just stuck in a shithole right now. Have to feel bad for him, he is such a great talent and is stuck on that team. There offensive line is horrible, which is why there offense wasn't so hot last year, every QB needs time to make decisions in order to put up good numbers, look at Brady, Manning and Romo, they all have great offensive lines. If Cinci can ever have a team that isn't filled with ******s and drama, and had a decent offensive line, he would put up great numbers like he did three years ago. Hopefully they can get it figured out because Palmer's talent is too good to go to waste on that team.

Obviously the Packers wont be as good without Farve, but you had to like what you saw from Rodgers against the Packers. He looked pretty good, if he can stay healthy they have a shot at making the playoffs, but he certaintly isn't Brett Farve, but who is??

This belongs in the outlandish statement thread, because its not something that is or isn't true. Just because Brett is no longer there doesn't mean the team is gonna fall away into a 1-15 record, or below .500..

Infact, what'd they lose? Bubba Franks?! Outside of that, Rodgers is a great back-up and has what now 2 years experience under Farve? His showing against Dallas was a great showcase of what is or should be expected to be even more.

I think your ending statement has truth to it, but the fact is Brett Farve when he came in was no Bart Starr, or Jonny Unitas.. the fact is, everyone makes a name for themselves. Aaron Rodgers is Aaron Rodgers, better or worse he is who he is and hopefully won't try and be anyone else.

Rodgers has two meaningful games worth of experience Will, and got hurt in both of them

WTF?

You just said they weren't going to be much different.

:lmao: I was TRYING to help Justin feel better because someone above me completely bad mouthed his team. I was being a friend. I didn't know Justin himself was fully aware his team now officially sucks complete ass.

So you were trying to get my hope up, only to see them get crushed miserably, leading me into a deep depression in which I kill myself?

thanks dude, thanks:thumbsup:

:lmao: Now you know how I feel everytime I read reports saying Carolina will be great when Jake Delhomme returns, only to get my dreams of them going to the Superbowl, or even playoffs, when Delhomme goes down in the pre-season. LOL
