I fail to see the point in it. We ultimately don't gain or lose anything. Beginning of the year, "Spring" forward. End of the year, "Fall" backward. Why not just stay the same.. year round? Seriously.. whats it gonna hurt? Why do we bother f*cking with the time?

Agreed. So what that it gets darker, longer, in the winter. If the time would stay the same year round, it wouldn't be as big of a deal.. because it'd likely only be dark a little bit longer.. they just want it to seem like something special. Unsure why.
