Hulk Hogan's Brother
Stop asking me what I'm gonna do!!!
So basically this "they" angle of TNA has drawn quite a bit of attention. While some are really liking it some are dismissing it as illogical and nonsensical.Either way it has got people talking.
I'll be the first guy to say that there have been quite a few fallacies in this angle so far but as we all know that in pro wrestling the career of any stable can be divided into three stages
Stage 1: Formation
Stage 2: Domination
Stage 3: Downfall
So yeah stage 1 may not have been perfect but i have a feeling stage 2 is going to be good. Why?? Because Hogan and Bischoff are at the centre of it and we all must admit that the best time for WCW was when NWO was dominant. It was so good that Bischoff forgot about stage 3
But this is one of those angles that I think will be judged by the culmination rather than the beginning. That is why its stage 3 that interests me.The guy who takes down this stable could be the next big thing of wrestling.Granted there's a lot more work to be done."They" must be made to look as dominant as they possibly can.But can you imagine the pops for the guy who would stand up to these guys??It would blow the roof of the Impact Zone.Imagine if this guy happens to be charismatic as well.It could capture the imagination of the fans as well.
Also just a few points of clarification.By megastar I mean a star on the Austin/Rock level. If thats too high at least on the level Cena was circa 2005
The reason why I'm saying this is though I am a WWE fan I just cant see WWE doing a great storyline which is going to catch us unawares.I'm not saying they cant but I certainly am skeptical. Also the guy whom WWE is pushing as their next megastar aka The Miz,well he doesnt do anything for me and for a lot of my friends who happen to be marks. So I do believe that this is the best time for TNA to capitalise
For if TNA create the next megastar of wrestling,it is only then that I do believe that they will be taken seriously
So my questions to you are:
1.Do you agree that the guy who takes down "THEY" will be the next megastar of wrestling?Give your thoughts
2.Who do you think it will be??Give reasons
3.Do you agree with me that the only way that TNA will be taken seriously is if they create the next wrestling megastar??
Just to answer my second question i believe that the guy who will end up taking down "They" will be either Pope or Anderson because according to me among the lot of young guys that TNA have Pope and Anderson are the most charismatic.Or could it be Alex Shelley. He is quite good on the mic as well.I'm sure though all of you diehard TNA fans would love it to be Styles or Joe.
