The Online Late at Night Thread

I always want to get into CL discussions, but every time I look in the threads I feel like I'd either be jumping into discussions to late, or it's something that I wouldn't want to debate with certain people on the forums. For instance, there are guys I wouldn't mind shooting on religion with, but there are some people I'd be afraid of offending or not getting through to properly.

I usually try to save rep for the guys I rep regularly (Crock, SJ, Jets fans during the playoffs), but I usually only give it out to people who either make me laugh for real, have the same opinions as I do on politics or movies, and good wrestling posts. I figure if you rep some of the newer posters who post in mostly wrestling and they see themselves getting repped by someone with a big green bar, they'll be encouraged to post better and more often.
True. I got green repped by Jack-Hammer on one of my first days and I thought it was epic. I really didn't think I'd ever want to be a mod either, but that's the goal now. Stuff changes on here.

Jack-Hammer reps me fairly often, and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Getting rep for wrestling posts by other good wrestling posters is my favorite type of rep, though I also love getting rep for making a good joke.

Respected user rep definitely helps. JGlass and Doc were generous with the rep over in the LDs, so I actually tried to get involved in stuff and be a member that people actually knew of.

Side note: This whole community is awesome. Did you guys ever use the WWE Universe forums? That was pretty much my introduction to the IWC, and oh my god.

Angel, join the conversation.

Yeah, I LOVE Jack-Hammer or Brain rep since they're Old School guys and I think they're excellent. I also love all SSC rep.

I got into this before I even thought of joining the WWE Universe forums. I can only imagine how bad they are compared.

SJ, I have a ridiculously good memory for small shit, and I actually remember the first thing I repped you on, and it was a Nexus pun. You said something about someone having to "Grin and Barrett." and then I said "Something something something come back Slater."

No, but I remember around the time when I was relatively new, just trying to get into the swing of things... Doc, Blue, and I totally trolled another forum. I think Mozz and Stormtrooper did too, but I can't remember. We're all IP banned from there. It was Baller's new forum, and Doc and I made the GREATEST thread ever. My idea, but he wrote it. "TNA needs to move the Impact Zone into the Hammerstein Ballroom and have Sandman be the champ." Also, hire Shockmaster as a main eventer and put the Knockout's Belt on Brooke Hogan.

The WWE Universe forums were a fucking plague. There were literally no active mods, and no restrictions on making threads.

Grin and Barrett was my first LD pun, I believe. My first rep ever I think was from DirtyJose, and it was a pun on Daniel Bryan being released. (I like puns)

This would probably get them better ratings. Reality TV junkies would tune in for Brooke Hogan, New York would draw a crowd better than Orlando, and Shockmaster is the best wrestler ever.

Your puns have contributed much needed comedy to many an LD. Sean Valjean has been MIA lately, so you're all I have sometimes, SJ.

Hey now, my racist/sexist jokes in the last LD got me PMed by an angry dude and they brought the LULZ! I contributed too, you fucker! Dudnrrjxydjdjrkdndnd

Yeah, where's he been? I was trying to find some LD greatest hits the other night, and I found the debut of JoMo'sPonytail. We can't be without both him and Sean Valjean.

JoMo's ponytail can suck my dick. Did you not see who is target was, SJ?

And Crock, you're not in the LDs enough to be a key player. You need to take part more often.

Yeah, I saw. But it was before our bromance. It was amazing. Search your heart; you know it to be true.

And Crock, you're always hilarious. Come by the LDs more often and get into some of the petty arguments that always seem to break out.

Other than his name, I don't see what's so fantastic about it. He joined to disagree with me about The Miz saying something stupid on the mic. Other than that I don't really remember what he said.

I think it was that he made an account just to tell you to shut the fuck up, or something to that extent. Wasn't he nominated for the arrive, raise hell, leave award or something? In any case, everyone knows the all-time best LD moment was the pages-long debate over what a decade is. That was enthralling.

In an LD, I told a guy that his mom "was good in the bedroom" and he proceeded to actually call his mother on the telephone.

link plz

The dude was a douche, but his Facebook was linked to his profile, so I went and found out his first name and used it in the LD, while referring to his mom. It was in like June/July of last year, when I first joined.

Linking your facebook to this site is poor form. You will make piss someone off, and they will use it against you.
