The Online Late at Night Thread

What's the big deal about Minecraft? I've never played it, but my friends do, and I don't understand what you actually do in it.

Amuse yourself. It's all about discovery, and experimentation. A lot of it is creativity, too. You control a dude, and you can build things out of different materials. You can build some sort of hovel to stay safe at night (when shit tries to kill you), build tools to gather different types of material, and go nuts in a world where terraforming seems an awful lot like fucking around with Legos.

Well I'm here now ain't haha. I'll try. I'm usually on, its just to get me motivated to post anywhere. I've been a cranky old buzzard since getting a job. Old crazy people will get on your nerves eventually.

So I made a delicious dinner out of leftovers at the old folks home. A burger smothered in baked beans and smoked sausage. Twas delicious.

Don't they just.

Especially the ones that think they are owed a living.......

It's going good Crocky. Making good money (near 11 dollars an hour). And I work the easiest shift (minus night shift, which I occasionally do) at 5-10. Pretty much gotta clean up after dinner, set up for the morning shift, and occasionally having to bath someone. It's nice to have a steady job ya know?

Definitely. I'm the QB Coach at my old high school, so I go in on occasion... But during the Summer I'll have to be there every day. Damn good QB to work with though.

Legos are literally the best things ever, so I might have to check it out sometime.

That's awesome dude, good luck with that champ.

EDIT: Poor Rox :(. We all need a vacation

As a QB I was always comfortable in the pocket, but I loved to run. This kid doesn't run, but has an EXCELLENT arm. He just gets nervous during the blitz, I'm working with him though. By the time camp starts, he should be lethal.

All it took was one person to say they didn't like me and it killed my entire day.

NEVER fuck with girls that fuck with girls.

NEVER

On their site there is a link to play "Classic" mode online for free, no registration. There isn't anything else in that mode beyond being able to destroy and place blocks of different types on the map. Cracking down and buying the game gets you the actual "game" part, but for fun screwing around the "Classic" mode works well.

I'm also pulling Packers, though that might be only because:

1: As a Raiders fan, I always have a soft spot for 49er rivals.

2: Sully.

I'm pulling for the Pack, sticking to my NFC roots. Though it kills me to say that seeing as I love the Vikes, but whilst I hate the Pack, I respect the shit out of those guys.

I got the Steelers. I don't like either of them but I have more people willing to bet with me if I take them. I have to find someway to make the game interesting.

I'm pulling for the Cheeseheads, if I havn't made that obvious these past few weeks. I respect both teams (minus Big Ben, I tend to boo rapists), but I think it's Aaron Rodgers' time in Green Bay to overtake #4's shadow.

I've been flying through Jericho's first book A Lion's Tale this weekend, and I have Undisputed as well ready to be read. Fantastic read so far, I'm about halfway through.
