The Online Late at Night Thread

Coming home from college is a mixed-blessing when it comes to food. On the one hand, I'm going to get some really great meals prepared for me. On the other hand, my family rarely keeps anything to snack on around the house and they really don't have anything for me to eat when I get back (I have a restricted diet and they just happen to eat a lot of the things I can't), so until I do some grocery shopping and my mom cooks up some delicious stuff that I can reheat later, I'm stuck with buttered toast.

That said, I'm going to try to convince someone to go out to breakfast with me tomorrow. Damn pancakes and eggs sound tasty right about now.

If I drove Id take ya up on the offer haha. Considering Jersey is right next door. However no license means I go nowhere unless some chauffeurs me around.

Things are good Angel. No football season sucks, but I can't wait for the draft and baseball season is right around the corner so I'll live. Going out to DC in May to catch a Phillies game, so that is gonna be the tits. How things with you champ?

The Phillies are going to be hard to beat this year with that pitching staff. It isn't as good as the Royals' but it is formidable... I don't know why I watch baseball anymore.

Sup Angel?

I'm not doing much. I want to play Majora's Mask, but it's too late and dark and scary and I don't wanna

Not much, just been playin' bones and sippin whiskey with my dad and his friends.

I'm almost glad the football season is over, the Broncos and the Jayhawks embarassed me enough this year, and I love all the basketball action going on right now.... Can't wait for the draft though.

And I'm good, I've had a stuffy nose for a few months now, so that's pissing me off, but other than that everything is lovely.

It's not even worth watching Royals game unless you're their live... Let's just hope some of these prospects we have are as good as advertised.

Yeah man those Royals are craaazy good. They have that Escobar kid from the Brewers who I'm really high on and I think he is gonna be a stellar player. I just can't think of his first name. Plus Billy Butler is underrated and a damn good hitter. But yeah I'm just trying to get caught up in the Phillies hype. We are definitely gonna be good but I don't want to hand us the championship.

I was just curious. I went to a Royals game the day before my 21st birthday(I know right?) and we were playing St. Louis. We were like the fucking away team.

Escobar should end up either middle of the line or slightly better, I don't see much more coming from him but I could be wrong. Butler is a very good hitter but we don't get enough base-runners for him to knock in, and with all the runs we will let up it won't matter anyways. The few times we do end up winning though we get to see Soria pitch and that is always entertaining.

Although we do have Moustakas coming up this year to look forward to, and all signs point to him becoming a top hitter. Hosmer should be up next year (possibly this year but I am not as sure with him) and he should be a great hitter too. We have some good pitching prospects to but they are not near ready. These kids better start producing because 26 years without a playoff appearance is to much and we still have a long ways to go before we will even be able to contend.
