Yeah, I am with you X.

I was sure that the last episode of season 8 would have been the spiritual end to a show that I have loved for a long time. Yet, as a I watch the show and I become more and more engrossed in the characters, I realise that it is a great continuation of the legacy of Scrubs. I have watched all of the episodes of season 9 and I have not once regretted that decision.

When it comes to the new episode, I was very pleasantly surprised by it, in all honesty. I am happy that they are making it a smooth transaction from the old to the new and I am even happier that JD took a starring role in this episode. At the start of the season, I thought that they would miss him when he goes but now I don't think that will be the case. I think that the new characters are doing really well and I love the characters of Drew and Cole. It is really coming along and the new episode was a welcomed edition to what is already a great season.

Here in Australia we finally got season 9 of Scrubs and the first episode was brilliant, they still retain plenty of the humour, and im really liking Drew and Lucy we all know is the female version of JD and she mirrors him so well. Overall im liking season 9 so far.

Season 9 has pleasantly surprised me. Even without JD I think that the new cast has the ability to keep the show interesting.

I loved Denise in Season 8 and am very happy that she has taken on a more central role this season. Her interactions with Drew are fast becoming some of the best material.

I wasn't a fan of Cole until recently. I think they spent too long with him milking the "my parents built this place" and did not devote any time to fleshing out his character with some common decency. Thankfully this has changed in the last few episodes.

Lucy is a great character and narrator and while no one will ever fill JD's shows I think that she can be a good lead.

When the ever brilliant Dr Cox and his burgeoning relationship with Turk and the increasingly frequent but nonetheless loved appearances of Kelso, I think Scrubs: Med School has a season or two more in it

So last night was the finale of this season of Scrubs, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the episode, it was actually quite good. I still have my doubts about Lucy being the lead character on the show, but the rest of the characters have all really kept me interested in the show and the writing hasn't been bad either, so I really can't complain. Last night was a good mix of the wacky off-beat humor with a slice of life-lesson that Scrubs became famous for in the first place. Cole deciding he wants to be a surgeon and shadowing Turk was great, and it was really the best place to go with both characters. If Scrubs comes back for another season I definitely think the interplay between Cole and Turk will probably be the core of the comedy going forward, and I love both characters.

I also think they should probably shift the focus of the show from Lucy, to Drew, who's far more believable and interesting as a main character in the show instead of just a ditzy female version of JD.

It was a good episode though and I laughed more than once. This obviously wasn't the best of Scrubs seasons, but I have to say overall I as really surprised by how much the show continued to keep my interest. JD and many other main characters may be gone, but the show is still 30 minutes I look forward to every week.

Yeah, Zach Braff confirmed on his Facebook page that Scrubs is cancelled. Sadness. I can see why though. The new Scrubs, albeit entertaining just wasn't the same as the original cast. The original just was pure gold. They took a shot trying to get people to watch the JD-less Scrubs but it didn't work. I think he really made the show. Shame to see such a good TV show go down.

Theey havent officially cancelled the show yet on ABC, i think they need to give it at least another season before putting it on the chopping block, Look at NBC and 30 Rock, the show started with really bad ratings and week after week the shows fanbase grew, The reason the new season isnt bringing in the audience is because people arent giving it a chance, I like scurbs and believe it will be a huge asset to ABC, letting it die now would be stupid of them especially with shows like Cougar town (which is developed by the same company) winning in the ratings ABC needs to keep it alive, I believe for at least two more seasons it could be the longest episodic comedy in the 21st Century if they just give it a chance.

And if this is true we could always start a save scrubs campaign!
